Honestly, I dont get the catastrophic reviews.
To start: Yes. Its expensive. But this is Nizza, of course its going to be expensive.
If the food is cooked through, which it was for me, its still hot and theres No funny smell, its safe. I was first concerned about the reports of food poisioning, which turned out false.
Taste wise the chicken is basically a big step up from KFC, lookswise its mostly the same. Both KFC and other chain brands use frozen supplies, not much difference there. The tater tots are pretty meh and they forgot a sauce so thats some points deducted.
Still its definately worth getting. The spicy chicken is great.
overall the taste is almost perfect for me , burgers, fries, corn , wrap and chicken so tasty but the flour skin is too thick so not crunchy, but I love the flavour.
The food was delicious and very nicely packed for a take-out. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The only “con” for Pepe Chicken is that they don’t have any outside space, but three tables inside:/

Don’t go! We waited for 40 minutes and missed our train, and it wasn’t even so many people. And the burger is bad… taste like McDonalds. Very disappointing, never again.
Rude staff and an upsetting experience. We arrived during business hours but were told we couldn’t go inside, even though it appeared the restaurant was still open. The staff were dismissive and the interaction became uncomfortable.
During the exchange, I believed I heard a racial slur directed at me. While I can’t say with certainty what was said, it was upsetting enough that I returned to ask about it. Instead of calmly addressing my concern, the situation escalated, and one of the employees grabbed/clutched my purse during the confrontation. That made me feel very unsafe.
Overall, the customer service was unprofessional, and I left feeling unwelcome. I would not return.

I had a fantastic meal at Chicken Street! The food was definitely the highlight the Dynamite Tenders were incredible, with just the right amount of kick, and the Fried Spicy Wings were perfectly crispy and full of flavor.
Beyond the food, the staff was very nice and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The ambience was also great, making it a perfect spot to hang out and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-tier chicken!

The only downside is the service which is really confusing, they don’t really call you when the order is ready so it’s hard to understand when you’re supposed to receive your order.

It feels like a McDonald’s-style concept but with different food options. The staff was friendly, though we had to wait almost 35 minutes for our order. The food was tasty, but portions were on the smaller side. Sandwiches are priced between €6–8.
This restaurant had really good fast food. I tried the Dynamite Naan Burger and the Beef Steak Wrap both were tasty and juicy. They also have many halal options, which is great. However, the service was a bit slow, but overall, it’s a good fast food place.
Didn’t even eat here because the service was horrible!! We got there and I politely asked for a Napkin to wipe the dirty table that hadn’t been cleaned and got a very rude “WHAT!?” Response. I clarified with her what I wanted, she gave me the napkins and me

It's been some time that the personnel is super nice, but there was one guy in their team.. it was just a pure joy to see him work and interact with people. I've never seen anyone enjoying their work as much as this gentleman, my mind just lit up with happiness following him around with my eyes. I wish world had more people like that. Thank you!

Day 2 of of calling them and no one in the store speaking English so I got hanged up 1 time and the second another person telling me that no one speaks English. This is unacceptable at all points of view well done owner. Just make a phone call speaking English and see what will happen.
Very disappointing place.
After ordering, the staff never brought us the food even when we put the “service table option”. When we asked why they didn’t bring the food they replied that they didn’t find us, our table number was really obvious and one person of the person on my table got their food delivered.

Very very degraded experience over a long long period. Have not served ice cubes for more than a year, and the drinks are HOT HOT HOT even for a Coke, with ZERO bubbles. 🤮 they have CANCELLED the Whopper Junior, only the lower grade small hamburger/cheese burgers are available for kids. On the positive side, the Whopper was great!

The onion rings were in the fryer for 5 seconds tops. The vegan chicken between the burger was not crispy. Basically the pictures of the food were crazy well made, but the reality was far from it. Won't recommend.
Had this food twice in a row. Very flavorful Great value and fresh ingredients. On our latest delivery thru Deliveroo , in a tightly sealed bag, Outfry forgot to give us our second Chicken sandwich, which was a bummer yet all else was fine!

Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in France!
Since discovering The Bangers Burger in Nice, I’ve literally eaten here every single day of my trip—it’s that good. The burgers are incredibly flavorful, cooked to perfection, and packed with fresh ingredients. On top of that, everything is 100% Halal!

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a simple takeaway, just a burger and some chicken wings, and was told the wait would be around 10 minutes. In reality, I ended up waiting over an hour, which is completely unacceptable.
When the food finally arrived, it was cold and tasted terrible, making it difficult to eat. Overall, extremely poor service and quality. I would not recommend this place.

This place is wonderful and it kept us fed for a few days. We ordered two nights in a row, the first night a Margherita which was 10/10, and the second night a Margherita and a chorizo pizza which was also 10/10. The atmosphere is very cozy, the stuff even if they dont speak very good English were very friendly and inviting. Good prices and open till very late, a pizza for 10 euros and a free drink is very good for Nice. I absolutely recommend! Xx

Writing this review because all these bad reviews had me petrified after the order with Uber Eats was already made. I ordered at 11:30 and got my pizza at around 12:20 - can’t complain as it’s a Monday night. Every time I called for an update I was treated very well, the employee even had the driver call me to give me an ETA.

Came across this food stall and couldn’t resist stopping by. The owners were incredibly friendly, so we went for tacos, fries, and hotdogs. Portions were generous, prices were great, and the meat was tender with a rich umami kick.

The nicest owners I’ve ever met. Best food service and the chicken shawirmas are amazing. Super friendly owners. And close to the beach, we took the food with us to the beach and ate by the sunset. Thank you very much Wassim and his brothers for their hospitality.
It was the best kebab I ever had outside of Germany.
The ingredients were all fresh (salad is a bit dry tho) and the kebab was constructed in a way that you wont lose a single bit of it's inside so you could enjoy 100% of it.
The staff was incredible polite and very talkative. They showed a genuinely interest on where you come from and what you have been doing so far during your holiday in France.
And all of that for only 5,90€. Lowest price I have seen any kebab since 2020.
You HAVE to go here at least once if you really like kebabs.
We had a really disappointing experience at this place. We ordered two takeaway kebabs, asking for one with onions and one without. Although the waiter helpfully marked the ‘without onion’ kebab on the wrapping, it still had onions inside. What really made the experience worse, though, was flatbread plastic that had clearly been left inside the wrap while it was being made. Unfortunately, we had already left when we discovered it, otherwise we would have gone back. Such carelessness should not happen!
Me and friends went to O’Burger and It was the best kebab we had in our lives. The service is so amazing. They are really kind and so helpfull. Of your kebab or burger get stolen they Will punish the Guy. It is so amazing and lovely Place to eat. Love that Guys.

I got a piece of cling film in the kebab, the kebab itself is not bad, especially if you want to eat in the middle of the night, but be careful and watch what you eat, the burger did not hold its shape at all and had a strange taste. Still, be careful especially if you order at night, but in the daytime I tried it was pretty good

I used to order here every once in a week and i am really satisfied with their service even in covid situation. Their deliveries are always on time and the staffs are kind and friendly, they smile most importantly when they meet their clients. I strongly recommend this place. Packings are good and neat.

We found it through searching, and came out as one of the top places to eat in Nice - & I can see why!
The owner, is eccentric, but in a nice way. He fretted us early and takes us through the menu plus the specials he had. Service with a smile, perfect English too.
Had a bacon cheeseburger and the Provence chicken special, both with chips/fries, a soft drink and a beer, all for €24.
The food is amazing and the fries were some of the best I've ever had!
We were the only customers, but he didn't crowd us or hassle us, checked the food was good and left us be.
It's a shame it's off the main streets, so not as much passing trade, but I personally think that adds to the ambience - away from the hustle & bustle, but by only 3-5 minutes.

Found this on TripAdvisor, the prices are very low compared to Nice's average, you can have a full meal with 10€. The guy working there is odd, weird and absolutely funny! They serve great hamburgers, tasty sausages and abundant fries which taste very good an light. A visit to the bathroom is recommended!
Very lovely place with delicious food at cheap prices. €22 for the two of us (a chicken burger with chips, a salad main and 2 cans). Extra cheap considering we ordered some of the more expensive mains. Even the small portion options are generously sized.
Originally visited because of the crazily high rating and I definitely understand why. Beyond the very good food, the owner is very friendly and charismatic and speaks multiple languages. The decor and music are also very nice. Even the bathroom is decorated creatively.
The salad was very nice . The chicken burger was very delicious and came with cheese and typical burger vegetables. The fries were some of the best ever. You can also get any sauce with your fries.
