12 Affordable Places to Eat near Pont Alexandre III

Standing on the Pont Alexandre III, you are surrounded by some of the most expensive real estate and prestigious monuments in Paris. The Grand Palais glitters to your right, the Invalides stretches out before you, and the Eiffel Tower looms in the distance. It is easy to assume that grabbing a bite in this postcard-perfect district requires a Michelin-star budget or a willingness to pay fifteen euros for a bottle of water.

However, the reality of the 7th and 8th arrondissements is far more nuanced than the luxury storefronts suggest. Tucked between the government ministries, art galleries, and haute couture ateliers are dozens of bakeries, crêperies, and family-run bistros that cater to locals, office workers, and savvy travelers. You simply need to know which side streets to walk down and what to look for beyond the gilded facades.

Finding affordable food near such a major landmark is about more than just saving money. It is about experiencing the authentic daily rhythm of Parisian life. When you step into a neighborhood boulangerie for a warm baguette sandwich or join the queue at a no-frills café for the lunch special, you trade the tourist trap experience for genuine local flavor.

This guide focuses on practical, walkable options that keep you within a short stroll of the bridge while protecting your travel budget. We have prioritized places that offer consistent quality, generous portions, and that distinct Parisian atmosphere. Whether you need a quick takeaway to eat on the banks of the Seine or a sit-down meal before visiting the museums, you will find a suitable option here.

The recommendations below include a mix of classic French bakeries, international fast-casual spots, and traditional brasseries. We have considered not only the price of the food but also the value you receive, ensuring that "affordable" never means sacrificing the pleasure of eating well in Paris. A cheap meal should still be a memorable one.

Navigating Parisian dining customs can be intimidating, but a little knowledge goes a long way. Many affordable restaurants offer a "formule" or "menu du jour" at lunchtime, which bundles a starter and main course or a main course and dessert for a fixed, reasonable price. Ordering this way allows you to enjoy a proper sit-down meal for a fraction of the à la carte cost.

Before we dive into the specific locations, remember that prices near landmarks are often inflated for the view, not the food. By walking just three or four blocks away from the river, you will find prices drop significantly while quality often improves. Here are the best budget-friendly spots to refuel near Pont Alexandre III.

We had such a wonderful experience at Reviera Fuga! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the whole evening felt genuinely special. A particular mention has to go to Mila, our waitress, who was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional throughout the evening. Mila went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and her lovely personality really added to the experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels so genuinely thoughtful, and Mila was a huge part of why we left with such a great impression. We’ll definitely be coming back to Reviera Fuga — and hopefully we’ll get to see Mila again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an excellent experience at Riviera Fuga! We ordered their signature dish with poulpe and ravioli, which was well executed. Despite arriving late with a reservation while the kitchen was close to shutting down, we were still warmly accommodated by the manager, something genuinely rare in Paris and very much appreciated. The wine tasting offered to help us choose our pairing was outstanding. The woman who guided us through it was highly professional, courteous, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. The service felt attentive without being intrusive. Add to that a beautiful view over the Seine, and the experience feels complete. We will definitely come back!!!

Lovely place, we went for lunch and had pasta dishes. The Misu was the best - get it. Our server Max was very nice and attentive. Also the hostess (I’m so sorry I forget her name, Enni?) - staff was all fabulous. Will definitely recommend and a great spot to escape the city and be right on the Sein.
Jacey Baumler★★★★★
We had an amazing evening at Riviera Fuga! Incredible atmosphere and views of the seine + food! We ordered the steak tartar cannoli, risotto, ravioli, and the tiramisu. As well as the saphire cocktail, so good! Everything was incredible and Emily was an awesome server - very attentive, kind, and had great recommendations! Highly recommend!

Great place by/on the Seine, with beautiful (and not formal) ambiance. Romantic experience watching the boats cruising. I didn't try the food, but it looked good. I only had a drink, and a tasty coffee too. I'll come back many times!

Food was awful. My sister and I both had the Ribeye steak and it was awful. Waiter never came and checked on us. I was in restroom when he took my plate away - but he said nothing. 42 Euros for an awful meal. Great location because it's on the Seine River and nice view - but the food was bad.
Detlev Koutsiounis★★★★★
Really nice place. The food was great, really big and enough, you have a large variety of beverages. The atmosphere is really nice on the seine with a great view of the Pont Alexandre III and the boats passing by, and lovely piano music. I really recommend it.

I came in near closing time and completely understood that the kitchen was about to close. What disappointed me was the service. I was handed a menu and told to order immediately without even being given a minute to look at it or lemme sit first. Literally the guy was like order now right at the door. I understand restaurants have closing times, but there’s a polite way to communicate that. I decided to leave and dine elsewhere. A little more courtesy would have made a big difference.
Ebru Carter★★★☆☆
The food was ok. It was not served as described in the menu (French fried instead of sweet potato fries). The service staff needs to wake up! Way too hectic and unprofessional. You get the feeling that they are real amateurs. They also do not listen to clients. It’s a shame as the setting of the boat is obviously wonderful. This place could be so much more special with the right staff and a great cuisine.

This place is great cocktail was good, service good and a girl bartender she's always smile (She is really kind) and take care of our drinks, I'm smile and I'm looking at her after I ask one other more drinks she is run the service fast and back to us really quick! She's small but she's fast😄! Good girl! I am really happy to be there! See you next time!

Surely must be the best view of the Eiffel Tower in the city. An absolutely gorgeous space looking over both the Seine and towards the Eiffel Tower. Sai was my server and was a treat as a foreigner to recommend local spots and provide amazing service. Highly recommend! Drinks reasonable with 5 euro shots. I didn’t eat during this visit but will absolutely be back to try the food on my next visit. Stunning view, great vibes, good music and one of the best venues I’ve been to in Paris.
Ellen Jiggens★★★☆☆
Lovely setting and the starters and dessert were good. However the duck was quite flavourless and the fries were just warm. Service felt rushed and we had to use our starter cutlery for our mains as well? Went for our wedding anniversary dinner and were a but underwhelmed sadly.

Dining at Francette was one of the highlights of our time in Paris. The location is simply spectacular, offering breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower and the Seine that create an unforgettable atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Whether for lunch, dinner, or a sunset drink, the setting is among the most beautiful in the city. The cuisine is refined, creative, and perfectly executed. Every dish showcases high-quality ingredients, elegant presentation, and a modern interpretation of French gastronomy. The seafood selection is particularly impressive, fresh and expertly prepared. Service is professional, attentive, and polished, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and genuine hospitality. The staff make guests feel welcome while maintaining the sophisticated ambiance that defines the restaurant. What truly sets Francette apart is its unique combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and one of the most iconic views in Paris. It manages to feel both chic and relaxed, making it equally suitable for a special celebration or a memorable evening in the French capital. A remarkable Parisian experience that I would gladly repeat. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The view of the Eiffel Tower and the atmosphere on the boat made this a really nice place to eat. A special shout out to our waiter, Gregory, who was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We tried the tempura, which was good, but the crispy chicken with curry sauce was our favorite. We ended up ordering a second serving because we enjoyed it so much. The mussels were also very good, and the fresh guacamole was a nice starter. I wasn’t a fan of the signature duck entrecôte, but overall we had a good meal and would recommend this spot.
Aigars A★★★★☆
Overall a lovely meal, but the service needs a bit of work. The food itself was brilliant. The portion sizes were excellent and everything was presented beautifully. A big shout out to the kitchen—the quality was top-notch and the dishes came out really quickly. However, the service was a bit of a letdown. The staff were quite inattentive; I was even given a glass with a sharp, chipped edge, which was a bit dangerous. We had to ask for our drinks several times, and after requesting the dessert menu, we waited so long for someone to take our order that we eventually just gave up and left. The atmosphere was also a bit odd because of the music. It’s a great location and you expect a proper French vibe, but they were playing American pop music which didn’t fit the setting at all. Price-wise, we paid €180 for two adults and a child (no alcohol or dessert). For the quality of the food, I’d say that’s a very fair price. Overall, we had a positive time, but the waitstaff definitely need to be more on the ball!

Great French eatery just off Lafayette. Great service, authentic French menu, reasonable prices and large portions makes this an easy recommendation. A really good choice even along a road full of cafes and restaurants. We tried a number of food choices including the steak tartar, chicken burgers and steak frites and all were fantastic. My tartare was spectacular. Not had one as good as this for a number of years and it was under €20! Incredible value. Not to be confused with the numerous tourist traps up and down this road. Try this and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended:

An incredible little place with delicious food and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I would happily come back again! I'm not sure whether the most cheerful person we met in Paris was the waiter, the owner, the manager, or the chef—but it honestly doesn't matter. He made us laugh from the heart and enjoy every single minute we spent in the restaurant. He even saw us off in the kindest and most heartfelt way possible. Thank you for this wonderful experience! I highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as it's rare to find a free table.

This was my first time trying frog legs and foie gras, and it turned out to be a memorable experience. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and gave me a great introduction to classic French cuisine. We also had the French onion soup, which was rich, flavorful, and comforting. The beer was excellent, perfectly complementing the meal. However, the real star for me was the freshly baked hot baguette. Served warm straight from the oven, it was absolutely irresistible and ended up being my favorite part of the entire dining experience. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and a fantastic way to discover traditional French flavors. Highly recommended!

It’s a nice restaurant with delicious food. I tried a few french dishes and everything was very very good. I totally recommend this place and I think the duck confit is a must, you will thank me later

Very great place to eat! We brought our 3 kids 4months 3 and 9. The servers were so polite and efficient. Food was amazing. We had the lamb and duck. It was very tender.

Lovely spot with great service near the Eiffel Tower. Staff were very friendly and food was very good. We had salmon quiche (special of the day), steak au poivre, and tiramisu (average) and creme brulé (pretty good) for dessert.

We were looking for a place to eat at 5pm with little notice and Gluten Free options. This place is great. The food was delicious. The waitstaff was pleasant despite the 90* F plus temperatures and spoke English. I would definitely recommend!

We wanted to eat some deserts and have some soft drinks. They welcomed us warmly and they served a very delicious crème brûlée. The vanilla mâcha was also very nice. Everyone eating there seemed to be very happy. So, I will be back for the main course next time 🙂

Excellent cafe a few blocks from Rue Cler and the Eiffel Tower. Ate here twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. Both my wife and I had the daily specials at both meals. Great food, great setting, and personable staff.

Nice spot to have a drink with an amazing view. Staff were super nice except the bouncer who ask me at the entrance “what are you guys doing here?” I mean it’s a bar no? What kind of question is this…

I wish I could put 0 stars. So disappointed, used to go there quite often. Tables were so dirty, food was horrible. Service was very slow. I went out of the place and realized I had chewing gum all over my clothes. Had to throw some. What a waste of time and money. I used to add this place to my Paris list to tourists, definitely removed and avoid at all cost.

Excellent place for an afternoon drink. We came here and sat up on the deck on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Drink prices are pretty reasonable considering its location, and there are also bathrooms easily accessible from the main deck. You can't get much better really than having a drink literally on the water watching Paris's residents going about their days. My son also enjoyed washing to all the boats that were crossing past

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful Parisian dining experience in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The atmosphere is absolutely magical, with a beautiful olive tree growing through the dining room, warm lighting, elegant décor, and a cozy yet lively ambiance that makes you want to stay for hours. The food was excellent. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak with fresh seasonal vegetables, a delicious gratin, and a fresh burrata to start. Everything was prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The combination of great food, good wine, and an unforgettable setting made this one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, charming Parisian restaurant with a unique atmosphere. We would definitely come back! ⭐️

Had a lovely experience here! The staff were really polite and accommodating, which made us feel welcome from the start. I had the lamb shank and it was incredibly tender and full of flavour—definitely one of the best I’ve had. My boyfriend went for the ribeye steak and really enjoyed it too. The atmosphere was great, with a really nice vibe throughout. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

We had the good fortune of finding this restaurant when we were near the Eiffel Tower. This place is a little off the beaten path but worth the extra steps. The atmosphere is casual. We ordered the French onion soup, Cod fish & chips and Southwestern Duck Confit. Everything was outstanding and seems to be made from scratch. It was by far the best meal we had in Paris during our 8 day stay. As soon as they brought our plates out there aroma of the food makes your mouth water. The soup was perfectly seasoned and had a generous amount of cheese and just the right amount of onions and croutons. The Duck Confit was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was accompanied by home fried potato wedges that were tender, crispy and seasoned well. The Cod fish & chips might be the best I’ve ever had. The crust was outstanding and the fish was tender flaky and fresh. The ketchup they had was surprisingly good…tangy, sweet and full bodied. I highly recommend eating here early in your trip so you can come back multiple times.
Gani Torres★★★★★
The escargots and duck confit were excellent. The rump beef was a bit tough, though. We ordered it medium, but it came out closer to well done.
Stefanie Green★★★★★
We had a lovely dinner here on our first night in Paris. The service was friendly, and they have a nice variety on the menu, serving classic French dishes plus some pizzas as well. We tried two desserts, tiramisu and chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

We visited “The Family” restaurant in Paris and had a great experience. We ordered the onion soup, which was one of the best we’ve ever had – perfectly balanced in flavor and rich in taste. The tartare was also excellent: fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. We also tried the fish and a dessert that came as a trio of small portions, which was a great way to sample different flavors. Everything we had was delicious and of high quality. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with great food. Highly recommended!

Had lunch with a friend in this cosy restaurant. No reservation needed but it was packed! I had the Onglet de boeuf at medium-rare. It’s pretty good. I liked the pepper sauce over the blue cheese.

We found a random spot near Galaries Lafayette. We did not have any reservation. The staff was kind and patient. Asked us to wait 10mins. They will try to get a table for us. It is a cosy restaurant. We ordered tandoori salmon with basmati rice, cod fish filet, risotto, linguine and french onion soup. Soup was very good. Melted cheese made it super good. Tandoori salmon was soft and melt easy in mouth. Risotto with big prawns were fantastic ! Cod fish was good. We certainly enjoyed the lunch. Highly recommended.

This place has very good food and wonderful staff and service. The gentleman working are very nice. This is such a cozy little restaurant next to the galeries lafayette.

We ate at "The Family" three times during our vacation last week because everything was simply fantastic. The food was excellent (and we tried quite a few dishes), the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service staff, in particular, were incredibly friendly—we had a wonderful time! Many thanks to everyone at the restaurant for that! Oh, and one more thing: I’ll miss the pepper sauce the most 🙂

Really cool bar on the Seine... the vibe, the colours everything gives disco vibes... a perfect place to meet groups of friends and have fun... easy to get to... walking distance from Invalides station. The path way leading to it has no cars just lots of runners and bikes. The toilets are unisex cubicles. We didn't try the food so I can't comment. But definitely a place to try... don't worry if you don't like boats you won't feel a thing.

Spacious, with quick service at the bar (unlike Buttes Chaumont location!). The interior is well air conditioned and has terrific views of several monuments.
Rebecca Towning★☆☆☆☆
Myself and my two friends arrived at midnight to get into the venue, the bouncer welcomed us and asked for our IDs, they then realised we were English and changed tone, saying that we were no longer going to get in to the venue that night. When we asked why, they blamed it on my friend being too drunk, the irony of this is that she was the only one of our group who hadn’t drank. After, we spoke to some locals about the venue and they said that they do not like English in this area and this would have been why. I have never experienced such discrimination and I would highly recommend to avoid at all costs and not waste your time. Companies like this to not deserve to continue running.

Coffee over wine★★★★★
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We booked our table 2 days before. We arrived at the restaurant as soon as it opened (7pm). It is a charming little place. Can be a bit tight for some people but this is Paris. Our table was small but was very workable. It got busy in no time at all. The service was good. Expect some delays during busy times. Our food was great. Our starters (a la plancha squid and chicken skewers) could be a bit more tender and have a but more flavour. But it was fine. Our mains however (pork belly and crispy iberian pork) was fantastic. The pork belly was lovely but the knife I used was a bit blunt. This need sharpening. The cheesecake was scrumptious and the french toast was amazing! Good place to have dinner definitely.

Everything at Chez Delphine was exquisite. The food, delicious and authentic. The vibe, cozy and warm. We had a blast and really enjoyed the evening. We highly recommend the duck Magret de Canard with the sauce. The place is highly visited so we did made a reservation in advance.
Maggie Leung★★★★☆
The restaurant is small and quaint, though a little cramped in the aisles and between tables (as seems to be common in many French restaurants). The service was attentive and polite, though not necessarily friendly or warm. The menu is very typical French cuisine with option to have appetizer + main or main + dessert for 27€ or all 3 courses for 34€ (note: some of the menu options were priced with additional 2-4€ on top, e.g. escargot, beef bourguignon). We only chose to do the appetizer + main, since we were too full for dessert. The food was overall excellent! The French onion soup was thick and onion-y, though cheese was clumpy and lacked any string pull. Escargots were great and the mains were also 💯. Beef bourguignon was nice and tender with a nice, thick, gravy accompanying it. The Iberian pork pluma was perfectly cooked with nice crust and tender meat inside - very similar to a Japanese-style pork cutlet (katsu). We were unfortunately sat at the worst table in the restaurant because it was simply an "add-on"/"extra" table set up because they ran out of their normal tables. The table was round and smaller than the others, and right at the edge of the wall next to the already tight aisle with lots of foot traffic from waiters/servers moving about. This made us feel like an after-thought or feel less than the other patrons in the restaurant, which unfortunately ruined some of the experience for us.
Pat Jameson★★★★★
Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Quaint, warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding. I had an escargot appetizer and the pork belly with green beans. My friend had escargot as well, and the beef stew. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

Very delicious food and definitely worth the price. There is a wide range of options from the menu, with all options cooked very well. I’ve had the beef tartar with mash; the beef is refreshing and tender, whilst the mash is buttery and smooth. The waitresses are also so polite and fast paced. The restaurant servings feels very authentic and home like, and all options on the menu are well cooked. One thing is the interior is a bit crammed, but otherwise I can’t stress how highly I will recommend this place.

Very French. Options are standard and on a quiet brick side street. The salad is plentiful but could use more lettuce. The duck was good with a classic seasoning. All in all you willbe satisfied but not blown away. Lovely bistro.

This was the best food in our 2 week stay! Their French onion soup can’t be missed, and the crème brûlée was incredible! In fact, everything our party of 4 had was considered the best of the trip. The location in a small side street means it’s quiet and traffic-free. The staff was friendly and helpful, couldn’t have asked for better. Make reservations! And don’t miss coming here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An awesome example of a great Parisian restaurant. Small, off the beaten path, and great execution of a wonderful meal! The staff was excellent, willing to above and beyond. The food was second to none! The snails were the best I have ever had! The veal was cooked well and the potato pairing was scrumptious. They have a good wine selection as well. Atmosphere was good. A French group was very happy and loud. Lots of international, not necessarily tourists. Waites were pleasants professional and efficient . I think price are worth the quality. Everything i ordered was very good. Portion are enough and not too much. We barely managed to finish the dessert. I ll keep the adress in mind for another time. Oh they have a terrasse as well for good weather days.

Savory crêpes here are so good that we ended up ordering a second one after finishing the first. Highly recommend the kebab + cheese + egg combination — super flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the banana chocolate crêpe for dessert and it was delicious too. Definitely worth a visit!

You will be missing out if you don’t eat here. The 6 gentlemen work like clockwork, knowing what the other is thinking. Efficient, friendly, small establishment that’s big on taste, value, and team work. The New York sandwich is great sandwich that starts with a nice crunch of the French baguette. The crepes are exceptionally large and loaded, and packed with flavour and freshness. This is a bucket list restaurant for lunch that’s outstanding value. My kids loved the food. You guys are brilliant, thank you.

Happy Café was such a fun stop for us—definitely one we’ll remember! We ordered two Nutella crepes, a Kinder Bueno crepe, a Nutella crepe with pistachio ice cream, and a marshmallow-topped donut, and everything was delicious. The crepes were warm, soft, and generously filled (we clearly couldn’t get enough of the Nutella 😄). The Kinder Bueno crepe was super indulgent and perfect for chocolate lovers, and the Nutella crepe with pistachio ice cream was a great combo—rich, creamy, and a little different. The donut topped with marshmallows was also a fun, sweet treat. But by far, the highlight was the owner. He was absolutely hilarious and created such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, which really made the whole experience stand out. Great desserts, amazing vibes, and an owner who truly makes the place special—we’d definitely come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Milkshakes and coffee in opposite big wheel. Paris – Bon Appétit! If you’re looking for one of the best milkshakes in Paris, this place is a must-visit! The milkshakes are incredibly rich, creamy, and perfectly blended with high-quality ingredients. Every sip is packed with flavor, and the presentation is just as impressive as the taste. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re craving a classic chocolate shake or something more indulgent, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth. Bon appétit!

Happy Café definitely lives up to its name. The people here are genuinely kind, friendly, and seem to enjoy what they do. The menu has plenty of great options, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. You can really see why it’s called Happy Café. It’s not just the food, it’s the people. We’d happily come back the next time we’re in Paris. One small thing that really stood out: one of our orders was taking a little longer than expected, and since it was such a hot day, the staff brought us complimentary lemon drinks while we waited to make sure we stayed hydrated. It’s little gestures like that which turn a good meal into a memorable experience.

Tips for Eating Affordably near Pont Alexandre III

To make the most of your culinary exploration in this upscale district, a strategic approach is essential. The difference between an overpriced snack and a satisfying meal often comes down to timing, location, and knowing how to order like a local. The following tips will help you navigate the area with confidence and keep your food budget intact.

Embrace the Lunch Formula. Most sit-down restaurants offer a "formule midi" or "menu du jour" only during weekday lunch hours. This is almost always the best value in Paris, offering two or three courses for a price that is often half of what you would pay for the same items at dinner. Plan your main meal for midday.

Step Away from the River. The gravitational pull of the Seine is strong, but prices drop dramatically within a five-minute walk inland. Restaurants directly facing the bridge or the river pay premium rent and pass that cost onto you. Head towards Rue Cler, Rue Saint-Dominique, or the side streets near Invalides for better value.

Look for the "Boulangerie" Sign. For the cheapest and most authentic breakfast or lunch, find a traditional bakery. A fresh baguette sandwich, a slice of quiche, or a savory croissant will cost you between four and seven euros. These are perfect for a picnic on the Champ de Mars or along the Seine.

Beware the "Café Crème" Trap. Sitting on a terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower is tempting, but you will pay a premium for that chair. If you want a coffee or a drink, stand at the bar inside the café. Prices at the "comptoir" are often significantly cheaper than at a table on the terrace.

Drink Tap Water. In France, tap water is safe, clean, and free. When you sit down at a restaurant, ask for "une carafe d’eau" instead of ordering bottled water. This simple request can save you five to eight euros per person on your meal, and it is a completely standard request for locals.

Check the Menu Before You Sit. Always look at the menu posted outside the door before choosing a table. Check for hidden costs like the price of drinks or the "couvert" (cover charge). If the menu is only available via a QR code or the staff seems hesitant to show prices, it is usually a sign to move on.

Go Where the Office Workers Go. The 7th and 8th arrondissements are full of government and corporate offices. Follow the local employees during the lunch rush (between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM). If a place has a line of people in business casual attire, it is almost guaranteed to be fast, fresh, and fairly priced.

Exploring the area around Pont Alexandre III does not require you to empty your wallet to have a delicious meal. With a bit of planning and a willingness to wander a few blocks away from the main tourist thoroughfare, you can discover the same beloved spots that Parisians frequent daily.

Whether you choose a crispy baguette from a corner bakery or a hearty lunch special at a traditional bistro, these affordable options allow you to spend less on food and more on experiences. After all, the best views of Paris—from the golden statues of the bridge to the sparkling Seine—are completely free.
