Finding a great meal in one of the most touristic areas of Paris can often feel like navigating a culinary minefield. The Champs-Élysées is world-renowned for its luxury boutiques and historic monuments, but it is also infamous for overpriced tourist traps. For Muslim travelers and locals alike, the challenge is even greater when you need a restaurant that is not only delicious but also fully halal.
Fortunately, the landscape of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and its surrounding districts has evolved significantly. A new wave of restaurateurs has brought authentic, high-quality halal dining to the heart of the French capital. You no longer have to compromise on ambiance or flavor to adhere to your dietary requirements.
The area stretching from the Arc de Triomphe down to the Place de la Concorde, and into the 8th and 16th arrondissements, now hosts a diverse range of options. From gourmet French burgers to refined Middle Eastern mezze, the variety is genuinely impressive. Whether you are taking a break from shopping or looking for a late dinner after a river cruise, you are covered.
This guide focuses on quality, service, and proximity to the main strip. We have evaluated these establishments based on their commitment to authentic halal sourcing, their reputation among locals, and their ability to provide a memorable dining experience. You will find options ranging from quick casual bites to elegant sit-down meals.
While the Champs-Élysées itself is busy, the side streets often hide the true gems. Walking just a few minutes away from the main crowds will often lead you to better value and more authentic cooking. These restaurants offer a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the avenue.
We understand that "halal" standards can vary, so we have focused on restaurants that are either fully halal or have clear, verified halal certifications for their meat. This removes the guesswork and allows you to dine with peace of mind. It is always recommended to confirm with the staff on the day of your visit, as ownership and sourcing can change.
Below, we have curated a list of the top ten halal restaurants near the Champs-Élysées. This selection is designed to help you save time on research and maximize your enjoyment of Parisian cuisine.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options.
Lamb shank was delicious.
However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris.
All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy.
The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service.
In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience.
As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after.
The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience.
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place.
Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins.
On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients.
Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

Elysee Istanbul in Paris is a wonderful Turkish restaurant with a very elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was great to see that the restaurant is also kids-friendly. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic Turkish flavor. Delicious food!!! Went towards the end of the night and close to their kitchen closing time but they were still kind enough to accommodate us. Very Good Experience at Hadramaout Restaurant in Paris.
We visited hadramaout Yemeni restaurant in Paris for dinner. We were group of nine people, no booking was made as it was last minute decision. We ordered five Mandi portions , 2 lamb and 3 chicken Mandi which was enough for 9 people. Mandi was severed with two sauces which really complimented the Mandi.
Food taste was really good, rice was flavoured, chicken and lamb was tasteful.
If you are concerned about your budget, don’t order starter / drinks / sweets at this restaurant as these items are quite expensive. Restaurant serve water without any charge.
There is no parking available nearby so better to visit this area by bus or metro.

Served halal food near by rue de champs... Not far from Arc of Triumph.
Golden jewel for who look forward Yemeni food with variety of choices...
If you don't know how to order, the waiter is superb to assist... Just tell how many person and boom the meal is served....

Fares TAGHANE★★★★★
We ordered the lamb chops, which come with two sides. We chose fries, salad, smashed potatoes, and rice. The meat was outstanding—perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. All the sides were delicious and well prepared. The restaurant is very clean, beautifully decorated, and ideally located near the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Élysées. Special mention to Arhan, the Kurdish waiter, who was extremely polite, welcoming, and professional. Excellent food and great service. Highly recommended.
Thank you arhan

Just look at the photos 😄
I recently went to this restaurant, but the experience was not good. Some dishes were undercooked, there were mistakes in the orders, and the service was very slow. There was also a 20-minute gap between dishes arriving at the table.
The waiter with glasses was rude, while the others were kind. Basic eye contact would have been appreciated.
The taste wasn’t bad, but overall I was disappointed. The restaurant needs to improve both the kitchen and the service.

Lovely vibes
Nice staff with a wonderful service…
Every single plate was delicious
My favorite restaurant in Paris.
Raniah Baabdullah★★★★☆
The food was top notch, no complains. However, the waiter was a bit pushy and kind of made us order more food than we actually needed by indicating the sizes of the dishes were smaller than they actually were and that they wouldn't be enough for us (a couple). There was a lot of left overs eventually.
Nasif Siddiqi★★★★★
Amazing food, service and ambience. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. We had the Harira soup which was definitely the best I’ve had. We also ordered the mixed grill with cous cous and the lamb Tagine with lemon and olives which was out of this world. Excellent location in Champs-Ellysses with great food.

I can not express how happy my whole family is having chosen this restaurant over any other option. I would walk to Rennes from Paris to eat here again. The food is incredible. The service was world class. My child who doesn’t try new foods ordered a second meal. 👍

We are visitors from Hong Kong. Before coming to Paris, we dined in London, Munich and Lyon, and received warm, attentive service everywhere. This restaurant, however, treated us with obvious racial discrimination because of our Asian faces.
Our server repeatedly ignored our requests: we waved to place our order, asked for tap water multiple times, and all were brushed off. Even when we tried to pay the bill, we were kept waiting for ages.
The food is passable at best, nothing special. It tasted no better than random dessert shops we popped into on the street. There is zero reason to seek this place out. Do not come here if you are Asian. Save your money and mood!!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Noura Marceau. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
We especially loved the kebab meat, the shish tawook chicken, the Turkish coffee, and the zaatar and cheese manakish—everything was fresh and full of flavor.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Lebanese food in Paris. We will definitely come back!

We were visiting Paris for the first time and while we are walking around the area of the Eiffel Tower we found this restaurant… coming from the Middle East myself I was excited to eat Lebanese food and the place did not disappoint me … the decor was very nice, the staff were very welcoming and the cherry on the top was the food … it was authentic Lebanese cuisine perfected by their chef … absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend it

Exceptional service and hospitality. I arrived while fasting, and the staff were incredibly considerate and accommodating. They kindly prioritized my order and had the food ready in less than 5 minutes so I could break my fast on time. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Their kindness and attention to customers truly made the experience special. A big thank you to the entire team especially Samir and Elie . I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning! 😊🙏🍽️

Famished after a busy day of trekking around Paris and not willing to settle, we stumbled into Nora Marceau ready to eat. We were treated to prompt, welcoming service despite the busy dinner rush, and were served by a professional staff happy to accommodate English-speaking Americans. We enjoyed the Hummus Beiruti, Lebonese Tabouleh, Houromi platter, and some exceptional Falafel, alongside generous complimentary pita and pickled olives. We left nothing on our plates, as everything was excellent, and each dish was some of the best we'd ever had of its kind. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the service was second-to-none. Worth your vacation dollars!
Iris Cuypers★★★☆☆
Not my cup of tea. They do have some vegan options. However, the food I got tasted so bland. There was almost no flavour. Even the falafel was super dry and hard to swallow. I don't really recommend it. The place is stunning tho. I loves the vibe and the whole place! People were super friendly and helped me choose vegan options. However they were constantly in your nose too. Asking a bit too many questions and I prefer to be left by myself when eating. They didn't bring ons of the drinks we ordered and did put it on the tab but they immediately fixed it when we told them. So overall not my cup of tea. Not my type of food. Very bland. Gorgeous building and very friendly staff but sometimes a bit much. If bland food is more your thing, this place will definitely be good for you!

Persian cuisine is not something I am familiar with but was very curious about. I am really glad we took the chance and went here. Everything is fantastic. Beautiful and spacious interiors with high chair for kids.
As vegetarians we were advices to try the lentil soup, the vegetarian platter, and bamieh. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had falooda. So simple, yet so tasty!
The place is a bit upscale. It is pricy but the interior and the service justifies that.
They have live music which did not start until 9pm so we missed it.
TMM★★★★☆
Went Aug 19, 2026 for dinner with husband. Food is authentic. We had kashke bademjan and kabab soltani. The dough was also good. Recommend if you haven’t tried Persian food before one of the better experiences we had eating Persian food in Paris.
Usman UZZY★☆☆☆☆
I was disappointed by my experience here, especially given the location in what is considered a more upscale area of Paris. The restaurant felt more like an overpriced kebab shop than a quality dining establishment.
The customer service was particularly poor — staff were rude, inattentive, and unprofessional throughout the visit. The cleanliness standards were also unacceptable, with dirty tables left uncleared, food scattered on the floor, and menus lying around untidily. The atmosphere was chaotic and uncomfortable, with excessive shouting and noise that made it difficult to enjoy the meal.
To make matters worse, the food itself was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the high prices being charged. Overall, this was not an enjoyable dining experience, and I would not recommend it.
Sam abdrabou★★★★★
If you’re looking for an authentic Persian dining experience in Paris, Shabestan is truly a hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and elegant, with a subtle touch of traditional Iranian charm that makes the whole experience even more special.
The food is absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Soultani 2. This dish is a perfect combination of tender, juicy kebabs—both the filet mignon and koobideh are cooked to perfection. The meat is incredibly flavorful, well-seasoned, and melts in your mouth, paired perfectly with fragrant saffron rice that elevates the whole plate.
Every bite feels authentic and satisfying, capturing the true essence of Persian cuisine. Whether you’re already familiar with Iranian food or trying it for the first time, Shabestan is a place that will leave a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates refined flavors and a memorable dining experience.
Amwaj AbuGamza★★★☆☆
The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our meal. However, there are a few things worth mentioning. There is a minimum charge, and every adult is required to order a main dish, which felt quite restrictive. I also asked whether there was a place available for prayer, but unfortunately there wasn’t.
We were seated near a party, so the area was quite loud and crowded, which made the experience less comfortable. Overall, the food was very good, but the restaurant policies and seating arrangements could be improved.
Tips for Dining Halal Near the Champs-Élysées
Navigating the dining scene in a major tourist hub requires a bit of local insight. While the list above provides specific recommendations, understanding the nuances of the area will help you have a smoother experience. Here are some practical tips to ensure you get the best meal possible without unnecessary stress or wasted time.
- Walk a Few Blocks for Better Value: Restaurants located directly on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées pay extremely high rent, which is often reflected in inflated menu prices. By walking just 5 to 10 minutes into the 8th or 16th arrondissements, you will find the same quality of food at significantly better prices and with a more local atmosphere.
- Always Verify Current Certification: While a restaurant may have been halal for years, supply chains can occasionally change due to cost or availability. It is always wise to look for a visible halal certificate on the wall or politely ask a staff member, "Est-ce que la viande est halal?" (Is the meat halal?) to confirm the current status.
- Make Reservations for Dinner: Parisians eat late, usually around 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM, and restaurants near tourist zones fill up quickly, especially on weekends. If you are planning to visit one of the more upscale or popular spots on our list, calling ahead or booking online is highly recommended to avoid a long wait.
- Understand French Service Culture: Dining in France is a leisurely activity, and the service style reflects that. Waiters will not rush you or bring the check until you ask for it. To get the bill, you will usually need to say "L’addition, s’il vous plaît." This is not rudeness; it is simply the local custom of allowing you to enjoy your table without pressure.
- Look Beyond Kebabs: While Paris has excellent kebab shops, the halal scene has expanded to include gourmet burgers, steak frites, and even Asian fusion. Don’t limit yourself to the first quick-service counter you see; explore the variety available to experience the true breadth of halal gastronomy in Paris.
Exploring the area around the Champs-Élysées offers a unique blend of Parisian glamour and modern culinary diversity. The presence of high-quality halal restaurants in this prestigious district is a testament to the city’s evolving food culture. You can spend the day admiring the Arc de Triomphe or shopping for designer goods, knowing that a satisfying and permissible meal is just steps away.
Ultimately, the best dining experience combines great food with the peace of mind that comes from knowing your needs are met. By choosing any of the establishments listed above, you are setting yourself up for a memorable meal in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Enjoy your culinary journey through Paris.
