This hotel was perfect. Amazing value for your money. Camilla was so helpful. The rooms are small but updated and clean. The AC worked perfectly. The area looked a little iffy but we felt safe the entire time. Very close to a train station, so great location. I would recommend including the breakfast as it has everything you need and is a great value.

Very good value hotel. The room was clean and well kept, and it was a relief to have air con in the heatwave, although it wasn't very powerful. The staff were helpful. We didn't have breakfast as it felt quite expensive at €13 per person for continental. However due to the excellent location of the hotel, it was easy to find lots of local restaurants.

Lovely hotel. Excellent location near Sacre Coeur and Gare du Nord. Staff are really helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean and modern. Wifi worked well. The only thing missing to make it a 5 star review ... breakfast was good but not amazing and the breakfast room is quite cramped. But I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely staff and really well-kept hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had air-conditioning and was sound-proof (perfect for a heatwave in a loud city). Great location, right next to an Aldi supermarket - not to mention the Sacré-Cœur was right outside our window! Thanks for having us, we will be back.

The hotel advertised having air conditioning. It does not work at all. My room has stayed between 33 and 36 degrees. It is hotter inside than outside in the canicule. Even the housekeeper who tried to help me with the air conditioner was shocked. The reception did not help and would not switch rooms. No support has been offered. I requested even a fan and they have not delivered

Our stay at the Best Western hotel in Paris was absolutely wonderful! The rooms had a beautiful classic style that made us feel like royalty. They were elegant, comfortable, and full of charm. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food. It is available for an additional charge, but it is definitely worth it. The front desk staff were outstanding. We came from Canada, and the team spoke perfect English, making everything easy and welcoming. We truly appreciated their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help. The service was excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm, relaxing, and inviting. The location is another big advantage. There are many great restaurants just outside the hotel, and everything you need is close by, making it easy to explore Paris. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris!

The only reason why I don’t want to recommend this hotel is to make sure we have an available room during our next visit to Paris. We are extremely happy with our stay at BW Roncerey. The location is central and the entrance to the metro is literally at a few steps from the hotel. The room is clean and in quite a good state, sound insulations is very decent and the room is air-conditioned - quite important during a heat wave. There is a lovely option of an afternoon snack offered by the hotel, the breakfast is yummy and filling, the staff is friendly. Nothing to reproach - thanks loads for this great experience during our holiday.

All in all, the hotel is good. To highlight is the location which is rather central and very well connected to the major metro lines. If you are up for a walk it's only 20 to the Louvre or Champs-Elysees. To highlight is also the girl for night reception on the night from 09/05 to 10/05/2026. She helped us with the Check-In and explained all the sufficient information very detailedly and friendly. Our room was cosy, the bed was super comfy and clean (except for the last night in which we devastatingly had blood on our bed sheets) and the bathroom was okay. The shower/water pressure needs improvement. On the other hand the rest of the reception staff was okay however, the guys from this morning (13/05) did not help us out at all with some questions we had for our journey back to Charles de Gaulle Airport. They seemed very disinterested, didn't care, barely understood our English and our complain about the bloodied sheets didn't find any open ears. The hotel is a bit of a maze which is fun but can get tiring as well. Money for Value is not fully given. For a price of 640€ for 4 nights I do not expect to be put in the last corner of Floor 5 and have an unrenovated bathroom. The pictures from the website give higher expectations than deserved.

Absolute best choice for price. Location on Montmarte was the main reason why I chose this hotel on the first place. A lot of places were on a walkable distance, also metro line was about in 1 mon walk from the hotel. Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. Rooms are not soundproof, you still can hear others in the hallway. But overall experience is 10/10.
Kasun Marshall★★☆☆☆
Location was key for picking this hotel. Easy access to the Metro place key attractions. AC unit in my room broke down 3 days in and had to move to another room which was almost in a attic and looked like it was renovated last minute. We had a beautiful view of Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre though. Reception could be a little more friendlier and understand.

Our second stay at the F-A and it was very good. The people who work here are excellent, competent and friendly. Our rooms were clean, well kitted out and comfortable. The beds were especially nice, as we like a firm mattress. We took breakfast one morning and it was very tasty and good value. We intend to return next year.

Hmm… Where to start. This little gem in the 9th arrodissement is truly a find. 2 star hotel but 5 star service. The staff was ever so helpful - what ever we asked for, was met with a smile. Wifi wasn’t working for couple of days and they gave us free breakfast for those days. They also arranged us a drive from and to the CDG airport; extra charge of course. Our twin bed room on the 5th floor was small but cosy and clean. The bathroom was nice and the shower had its’ own little space so the whole floor wasn’t wet after shower. Rooms were cleaned daily if you wanted. The breakfast was nice - croissants, pain au chocolat, omelette, bacon - you name it. In the room was a water kettle and some tea. Very good sound insulation - once the windows were closed you could hear nothing from the streets. The hotel had a facade renovation with scaffolding but that didn’t bother us at all. And the location - quiet little street with a small suoermarket just on the opposite side of the street. Lots of restaurants and bars around and Saint-Georges metro stop just few minutes down the street. All in all I can truly recomment this sweet little hotel. Un grand merci au charmant personnel ❤️

For a 2 star hotel it’s an OK hotel: good beds, amazing breakfast for a 2 star, great shower. However, I asked for a quiet room. I got a room at the back, so yes no noise from the stteey. But they gave me a room right next to the elevator which I heard zooming up and down all night long. If you book this hotel make sure to ask a room far away from the elevator. Also be aware that the doors are not sound proof so you will hear other guests walking past or slamming their doors.

The hotel is under renovation. The service was very good. Marilia & Valeria welcomed us and took care of us well. They offer free water, still and sparkling and refreshments for sale. Located walking distance from everything. Remember that most streets in Paris are one way and walking make actually be faster than taking a taxi. AC was good, but could have been installed at a better location than blowing 100% into the bathroom. The airflow was minimal at best. Their breakfast was absolutely delicious and plenty in a quantity and quality. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Great location (walking distance to Montmartre). Competitive prices (£100). Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Basic but we really enjoyed our stay.

If you are from the US and know the travelodge or motel6 brand, this hotel is similar. The rooms are not sanitary. We got two rooms, one on Floor 6 and one on Floor7. There were ants in the room on Floor7. We told the front desk about it and they said they would clean it up and there were ants still everyday. So we couldn’t bring any food or drinks up to our room in case we’d get infested. On Floor6, the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed since the last person as there were toe nail clippings all over the carpet. There were mold issues in the rooms. My husband got hives from sleeping on the bed, unsure if that’s from bed bugs but possibly. Why stay here? If you are on a budget, need to get multiple rooms (we had 3) and staying for many days, then this makes sense. There was no hot water for showers the entire time. So hopefully you go in a heatwave. Some decent things- it’s safe, friendly staff, nice to get the breakfast included, close to many restaurants and sites, air conditioning was great, view of Eiffel Tower from the room. I recommend getting the deluxe suite, it was a decent size.

Don't let the 2 stars freighten you. This hotel is soo good. After a very inconvenient experience at the Ibis budget hotel, me and my friend had to find an immediate solution and book a new hotel. The only one within our price range and good accessibility was this one and let me tell you, we should have booked it first. We had to book it the same day of arrival so you can guess how stressful it all was, but as soon as we arrived in this hotel we were greeted by the amazing and nice guy at the reception. We loved every single detail especially since it brought us back in time with the beautiful elevator. The room(bathroom as well) and halls are small, but it's Paris so it's part of the experience. Everything was clean and new, the view was amazing, there was hot water, good Wi-Fi and the best part was the amazing location. Notre Dame is 10 minutes away on foot, there are many local restaurants and cafés nearby, markets open late in the night and many cute bookstores. If you want the best stay in Paris, then this is for you. When I come back in Paris again, this will be my choice 100%.😊

Affordable hotel in a fantastic location with everything you might need within walking distance on a safe and quiet street. The breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and could communicate in English. Clean room, hot water and working AC. The room even had a French balcony with views of the Eiffel Tower in the distance which was a very nice surprise. Only complaint is that the room was very small, especially the bed which barely fit two people. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an affordable option in the 6th!

I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, I loved the vintage vibe and what is great about it, is the location, you have everything near, and if not, you’re very close to the metro lines that take you directly to the wished places. Although it was a nice stay, in the last day I noticed a good amount of ants on the floor (mind you the floor is fully covered with a carpet), and that was not very nice, thankfully I didn’t notice on the first day otherwise I would go insane. Other then that everything else was nice, just inspect your room right from the start. The staff would clean the room everyday - not sure if they thoroughly cleaned it but we would always find everything nicely folded.
Nextbiteoflife Expats In Spain★★★☆☆
It's exactly what it says it is - A two star hotel. It's in a five star location however. The rooms are tired, clean, but the layout is funky. We had the double room but it requires climbing over my husband to get up from the bed. Forget about watching tv if you don't speak French, and you bump your head into it often. Every staff member we interacted with was fantastic. There is a tiny elevator but we are used to that in Spain so no big deal. We spent five nights, and for what we paid, I expected more, even if it's Paris.

I stayed five days at hotel Audran. Conveniently close to Blanche metro station. There are cafes and bakeries aplenty, all very good, so I did not try the breakfast offer at the hotel which is at a very reasonable price range. The room I was staying in was on the 6th floor with limited space, people who do not like right spaces should definitely avoid the hotel. The AC is set for 24 degrees Celsius and you cannot adjust it yourself, for me that was a bit too cold and I turned it off. The toilet is quite spacious compared to the room, but not that spacious. House cleaning is very good and efficient, clean towels every day. If you are travelling on a budget then this might be the place for you. It is close to everything and you can take the metro if you need to go further. I arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport and departed from Orly. Both are easy to get to and from from the hotel. If you are a family travelling then I recommend finding another hotel.
Rachel Greene★★★★★
The service is great. Best part of the stay was the fresh bread and coffee every morning. (I could smell it wafting through the corridor up to my room on the 6th floor.) The location is perfect in Montmartre. Easy access to bus and metro. Perfect for a solo traveler. The space isn’t “instagram ready”. But it’s clean, well maintained, and an absolute gem.
Philippe Proulx★★★★★
Stayed here on a one week visit to Paris. This accommodation did not disappoint. Clean. Quiet. Air conditioned rooms. Professional and competent staff. The best part is the walkability and proximity to transit lines that take you directly to all the big tourist attractions. There are enough restaurants within a five minute walk that I ate at a different restaurant for every meal of my trip. Highly recommend this hotel for a trip where you're more interested in getting out and exploring.
Carolyn M★★★★☆
I had an overall pleasant stay at this quaint boutique hotel, with a few notable pros and cons worth mentioning. On the positive side, the hotel has a charming, boutique feel and the accommodations are pretty standard for Europe. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made a great impression. The location is truly ideal—perfect for tourism, with so many attractions, shops, and dining options all within easy walking distance. The room itself included all of the amenities listed, so there were no surprises there. That said, there are a few things to be aware of. The room was quite small, which may be expected for some travelers but is still worth noting. The bed was functional, but the mattress was very firm—something that may come down to personal preference. Temperature control was also a challenge. While the room does have air conditioning, guests can only adjust it by a couple of degrees, and the hotel determines whether the system is set to heat or cool, with no option to override it. My room on the third floor had two large windows that opened, which could have been a great alternative for airflow, especially since the system was set to heat during my stay. However, there is a café directly below the hotel that stays open until around 2am, making it too noisy to keep the windows open at night. On top of that, there is a garbage pickup early each morning (around 6am), which was another consistent noise disturbance. The walls also seemed quite thin—despite being described as soundproof, I could hear neighboring guests when they spoke above a normal volume. Overall, this is a good option if you’re looking for a well-located, charming place to stay and don’t mind a bit of city noise. However, it may not be the best fit if you’re hoping for a restful, quiet environment, prefer a softer mattress, or want full control over your room temperature. Would absolutely also recommend Pizza Caratello and Venchi gelato shop which are both across the street from the hotel.

Really lovely stay at the hotel… amazing room, views and overall experience. It was even better than expected. Staff were extremely helpful and kind and breakfast was very nice and cozy. Location was great, walkable distance to many places and monuments and restaurants and feels central. For the price, it is well worth it and we hope to be back!

This is such a hidden gem of a hotel. It's around a 10 -15 min walk from gare du nord. The hotel is situated in a residential area and felt quite safe even at night. There are many food spots around, even a bakery right accross the street. There is like a bar/ cafe right next to the hotel so it can be a bit crowded on the street with people drinking at night. But if your windows are closed you won't hear a thing. I was pleasantly surprised that their elevator is decent size and you can be two inside with backpack and still be able to turn around and have space. There is airco in the room which worked perfectly and was needed during the summer. Another surprise was how big the bathroom was as it even has a bathtub, which is quite rare in Paris. If the room had a fridge it would have been the cherry on top. The entrance of the room might be small but once you enter the room it felt quite spacious for Paris. You can also leave your baggages if you arrive early : they will provide you a tag to get it later but the luggages are left in a public space inside their waiting hall.
Erik Gullberg★★★★★
No idea why this hotel has so low Google reviews. Close walking distance from Garde du Nord. Single room was as large as a double room. Effective AC. Great friendly service. Price was excellent for being Paris in July. Only thing I'd consider is that the doors to the rooms are not soundproof at all, so you could easily hear other guests, and service personel, through my door. Despite this I'd absolutely recommend!
Gillian Olohan★★★★☆
Fabulous location and amenities. Staff were very warm and welcoming (despite my horrible French). Rooms were nicely appointed and beds were cozy. Bathroom was a little small but I think that's fairly normal in Paris. My room turned into the interior courtyard so it was lovely and quiet to sleep (the area wasn't noisy at all). Close to literally everything - so many restaurants nearby, bakeries in every corner, metro is down the street and there is a post office around the corner - if you want French stamps, you'll have to order in advance. If you're mailing post cards or letters, you'll have to use the automated machines to print labels - the more you know 🌠.

Ideal base in Paris within 10 mins of Cadet metro and a few others. Walkable from Gare du Nord and spoilt for food choice at the other end of rue Cadet (highly recommended!). Also walking distance to Galleries La Fayette. The staff are polite and the room is basic as expected for the price but the bed was super comfy and the towels are amazing. As with other reviews shower experience could be improved hence the 4 stars.

Had a great time for 7 nights here. Clean rooms nice staff, free coffee when you arrive. Very good value for quality of hotel. In a great neighborhood for restaurants. Adele at the front desk was a sweetheart!

We picked the Dauphine Saint Germain hotel based upon its location and reasonable price - so glad we made that choice! First, the hotel is in the heart of the Left Bank with the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Musée d'Orsay, Latin Quarter, and Luxembourge Garden all within a short walk. Saint Germain is a happening street, lively until the wee hours. Our clean room faced the courtyard, thus extremely quiet and peaceful. This was important to us after the chaos of the city. All members of the staff were kind and helpful. Example: We asked to check in very early (before noon). They couldn't promise, of course, yet our room was available when we arrived - outstanding! The hotel had a cozy bar which is open 24/7 where we could chat with other guests. We highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay in January at the Hotel Dauphine. Staff are attentive and available, competent and courteous. They were always available to answer questions. Rooms are clean and bathrooms recently remodeled. Breakfast is high quality and has some hot offerings which is rare for a smaller hotel. One of the best things about this hotel is the location. You can reach multiple museums and monuments on foot quickly. Neighborhood restaurants are historic and delicious. Great for people wanting to hit tourist attractions but also get some of the local shopping and cafe lifestyle.
Joanna Vasquez★★★★☆
We are so happy we booked this hotel. I was greeted by a lovely concierge who was extremely helpful upon arrival. My room was actually ready early morning and was given the opportunity to check in early! The small twin room was really cute and very in the style of Parisian decor, dark wood beams, exposed, beautiful blue, and white tapestries walls with a French country theme. It had a sitting desk that also housed the television and the teapot. Loved the little detail of the tea pot to make tea in the room, as well as the variety of teas provided. It also had a small wardrobe where I was able to hang up my coats which helped with the organization of the room since it was two of us splitting it. My cousin and I both loved how comfortable the bed was and the beautiful tub. I will say that if you are a person who struggles with stepping in and out of things, maybe the bathrooms aren’t for you, but we loved the tub. The bathroom also had a blow dryer, which was an awesome perk. We saw that they served breakfast every morning although we didn’t try it. It looked like a good mix of pastries, yogurts, fruits, and charcuterie. They do offer hotel guests, free coffee, and water throughout the day, which is another great perk. Also, the location was wonderful. We were about 20-30 minutes walking to many Paris notable places. The street the hotel sits on also has a good choice of restaurants and shops. Overall, I’m very content with this hotel.
Meredith Huffman★★☆☆☆
I checked out today and went back and reviewed what I originally booked. A superior double. I am giving this two stars because our room did not match the photos online. The online pictures had far bigger windows and a larger desk and a larger bathroom. There are a few things that come with an older hotel that is just how it is, not affecting my review: you can hear all intimate details from your neighbors, the shower, and room was small, things a little older. The shower temperature was unable to hold a steady temp and would jump between cold and hot. But for $350 a night there are a few things that could improve the experience for guests. The mattress was cheap and sagged. The pillows were well past their prime, flat and uncomfortable. The shower head was so small it would only get part of you wet, high efficiency larger shower heads is a simple swap. The towels were cheap and scratchy. In the shower itself it was a 3x3 stall with a cheap curtain, it only had a body wash/shampoo combination in a single bottle, no conditioner, no body lotion. I did not raise my concerns with the front desk because these issues are for the managers to solve, not the desk. I liked the location, but would not stay here again.
Savitri Wilder★★★★★
My little Yorkie and myself had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was travelling solo and the room was more than enough for us. I was on the first floor with view to another building, which was fine because it meant quietness. The room and bathroom was very clean, there is a small refrigerator and also a tea/coffee making station. The hotel is very close to a metro station and different cafes and restaurants. The street stays busy until late and as a solo female traveller, this is a plus. But in general, it’s a nice safe area where you can use public transport or walk to many sites. I would stay here again if in Paris.

This place is out of the centre but still easily accessible by Metro to the centre: taking 25min to get to General de Gaul Etoile ( Arc de Triomphe) ...the area feels rough like you may be robbed-- however its cheap and cheerful with a 24hr reception with security...smart TV's you can connect to. I was a little nervous about staying here after reading some of the negative reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The rooms are small and simply furnished, but all three that my friends and I stayed in were clean, with comfortable beds and good showers. The staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming, which really makes a difference. Breakfast is good value, and even if you don’t opt for it, you can still get hot drinks (including decent coffee!) for just €1. Overall, Merryl Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Paris — I’d definitely recommend it.

We stayed at Hôtel Rochechouart for five days during our trip to Paris and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and in a great location. He really made our experience even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommend!

We adored staying at this hotel. Our room was the Sacre Coeur Suite on the 8th floor. It was wonderful, with 2 sets of operable windows that opened to gorgeous views including the Sacre Coeur. The bathroom was small but very nice, and the extra sitting room with a daybed proved to be one of our favorite spots to hang out The hotel breakfast was incredible! There were so many healthy options, and the Maggie restaurant setting was super charming. The Maggie Rooftop Bar is not to be missed! We sat there for hours each time we visited. The staff was extremely helpful. We certainly hope to stay here again.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our stay at Hotel Rochechouart. We used points for the stay, so I can’t complain too much as we essentially stayed for free, but based on our experience, I definitely wouldn’t pay the price to stay here. The rooms are extremely tired and really need updating. Our bathroom had mould in the shower and missing tiles. The showerhead was also broken as it wouldn’t stay in place and the water would just fall down against the tiles, so I had to hold the showerhead in one hand throughout the entire shower just to actually get the water on me. The room was also incredibly noisy. We could clearly hear people in the rooms next door and above us. The air conditioning was another major issue as we couldn’t properly control the system, and every few hours there would be a loud vibration coming through the walls, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. The location was also not ideal from a safety perspective. The immediate pocket around the hotel is fine and very lively, but just a couple of minutes up the road there were a lot of homeless people and some very sketchy characters. We personally wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around the area alone at night. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and the restaurant in the building was nice. Unfortunately, those were about the only highlights for us. For a free stay using points it was fine, but I wouldn’t stay here again or pay to stay here.
Andrea Marin★★★★★
Everything at the hotel was perfect, views from the room were beautiful - we stayed on the 8th floor and could see both the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour from our room. The service was incredibly kind and always ready to help with any need, especially at the front desk. Highly recommend.

Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, very kind, very responsiveRoom was good size for Paris. Some have very dark brown green walls – in future I would ask for a white walled room. We had a very good set of windows that opened onto a narrow balcony, but great for fresh air. Some people love this neighborhood. It was not my favorite but well located for visiting Monmartre without the crowds. Great view from rooftop bar.

Amazing stay at Relais Du Louvre! The customer service was exceptional, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were beautiful with a charming boutique feel, and everything was clean and well maintained. The elevator was surprisingly great (a nice bonus in Paris!), and the air conditioning worked phenomenally, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is fantastic and made it easy to explore the city. The only minor downside was that the shower was a bit small, but it certainly didn’t take away from the overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

We stayed here in the summer of 2023 and It keeps recurring to me how well this hotel established our stay, and set the stage for a wonderful vacation week in Paris. We travelled as a family of four. The hotel facility was lovely- it did not appear corporate; rather it was a smaller hotel with great personalized service. The breakfast baskets in the morning were high quality and adorable. The accommodations were both modern and traditional, and well planned. But what I most remember were the lovely staff at the front desk. They were so dedicated to helping us plan our week- it felt like they were constantly at work to make sure we were able to enjoy ourselves both in the hotel, and with the activities we planned. The warmth of their dedication to their guests was so meaningful to us, and really filled us with happiness an made our trip special. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

First time in Paris and this tiny hotel located right next to the Louvre with the Eiffel tower visible just several steps towards the Seine, an old cathedral adjacent and visible from our window. Great personal service in this cozy hotel where your are always personally greeted. The windows open to the fresh air. While there is traffic along the Seine, the rooms itself is usually quiet even with the windows open and you are not blasted by the sounds of traffic. Breakfast, which is extra at $16€ per person is delivered to your room. It was delicious with the usual croissants, baguette, optimal yogurt, choice of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, and fresh squeezed juice. Turns out there was too much food for us to eat. Conveniently located right next to the Point Neuf metro station and easily walkable from Les Halles station which connects to the Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) via the rail (RER). Took us about 1 hour to slowly walk to the Eiffel tower with plenty of stops along the way. The room was spacious enough for the two of us and our 10 year old child. The building itself is rather old but this adds to the charm and there are no visible deficiencies.

Boutique Historic Hotel in the 1st, walk around the corner and you're at the Louvre or the Pont Neuf bridge, Metro and bus also. Walk to the Isle & Notre Dame. I love the view of the rooftops out the window, which not only has a privacy shade but also a Blackout Shade in case you want to sleep in. The Hotel Site has pictures of the bedside and the non-working fireplace which is a nice aesthetic however I thought I would add the other views of the room that I enjoyed. The benefit of the elevator is terrific and it fit my husband myself and our 2 carry on suitcases, we also enjoyed taking the stairs a couple times even if we were on the 6th floor- I love a circular staircase. Room 62 fantastic. has to be the best location and well worth the price. If you have a morning breakfast it's wonderful in your room to have time to get ready and then go out for the day. There's actually enough croissant or bread and ham and cheese to take yourself a little snack for the day. The only negative for room 62 would be if you have some mobility issue and can't step into a high bathtub. The bath has the European shower and half glass. the private toilet area is very nice with the built-in bidet and heated seat. Very nice on a cold morning. The people are so wonderful and helpful it makes the perfect location even better.

Located right across the street from the louvre. Located right near the metro, walking distance to many attractions such as the Seine and the Eiffel Tower. The rooms are comfortable albeit on the tighter side (standard European room). I can’t say enough positive things about the staff. They are accommodating, kind, and lovely to interact with. They truly do go above and beyond making us feel welcome and ensuring that we enjoy our stay with them.

We spent a night at the Boronali and it was fantastic. We wanted a comfortable hotel in a good location and it delivered on both counts. We had a superior room, which didn’t cost much more than the standard rooms, and it was large, clean and had Juliet balconies with great views in the bedroom and the huge bathroom. It looks like the establishment has had a recent refurbishment. The lobby and our room were very modern and fresh. We were on the 6th floor and the classic Parisian lift isn’t for the claustrophobic. Luckily we aren’t so that wasn’t an issue. There is free coffee, tea and sparkling water at all hours which was a bonus. All the staff were super lovely too, and they have good recommendations for nearby places of interest and entertainment. In fact the neighbourhood has lots of wonderful bars and restaurants so you can’t go wrong anyway. We are already planning a return visit ⭐️🇫🇷⭐️🇫🇷⭐️🇫🇷

Good location only 2 metro stops and a short walk from Paris Gard Du Nor. Lovely friendly, helpful staff, free tea and coffee in the breakfast room all day. Room was clean and comfortable, also had a fan which was a blessing as it was 40° when we arrived. Can leave your bags with them when checking out very safe. Sacre Couer just a short walk from here and lots of local restaurants and cafés Would definitely stay here again thank you for a good stay.

This place was absolutely lovely. My room was on the smaller size but perfect for what I needed and very clean. All the staff were lovely and friendly. Only a short metro ride to all the popular attractions. Would highly recommend!

A lovely hotel. Easy to access all the tourist areas but lovely and quiet too. Really comfy rooms (we had a superior double with a lovely balcony and a classic double which was perfectly comfy but without the view). Beds were especially good. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was really tasty and fresh. Staff were all fabulously helpful. A lovely stay.

My overall experience with the hotel was good. The staff was always very friendly and helpful which is not always a given in Paris. I can’t say anything about the breakfast because I hadn’t booked it. But the option to book it spontaneously every day if wanted is also a big plus for the hotel.

We saw some mixed reviews but decided to try the hotel based on location. We were incredibly satisfied. Very friendly personnel. AC worked great during a heat wave. The street is incredibly calm. There is real wood flooring in the rooms vs plastic in most hotels. Rooms were comfortable and in good condition. Will definitely stay here again. Merci!!

Some annoyances with this hotel but overall it was good. Let me explain: It’s apparent it’s mold in the bathroom, windows etc. but nothing THAT noticeable. Location is really amazing - safe area, close to mall (Westfield), housekeeping every day which was nice. The breakfast area is SUPER small, would recommend not eating your breakfast here. Save ur money. If you want a view maybe ask for it (we got a nice one look at the picture), we got 4 room in total and only one of them got a nice view (everyone else just stated into a wall). AC is also perfect during the heat. I would recommend to stay but it’s not super luxurious but location is key.

★★★★★ Had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel Andréa in the Le Marais district. The location is excellent, with easy access to major attractions, cafés, shops, and public transport, making it a perfect base for exploring Paris. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that made the stay enjoyable. The staff were courteous, welcoming, and helpful throughout, and the overall service was smooth and professional. I especially appreciated the charm of the neighborhood, the convenience of the location, and the comfortable stay experience. Overall, a very satisfying visit and a great choice for anyone looking to stay in the Marais area. Highly recommended.

Great location and price! The hotel is tucked away in a quieter street but really close to all the shops and landmarks. 15 minute walk from Louvre / Notre Dame but it doesn’t feel very touristy in this area. The only downside was that the bathroom was kind of moldy. We didn’t have a chance to tell the staff during our stay though but I’m sure they would have been happy to change our rooms / deal with it.

The room were super dirty (stained sheets, dusty floors, mold in the showers, etc) and there was no air conditioning. Front desk controls heat/cooling for each room and we stayed for 4 nights and each night there was a different reason for not turning on the A/C: some days it was broken, some days they would “turn it on in a second” (they did not), so on and so forth until one day someone was honest with us and said that bc of the air system they had installed they could only either heat or cool the entire building. This is understandable but the lack of honesty when communicating the issue was a poor choice. I see from the reviews I’m not the only one with these complaints, maybe a simple solution would be providing a fan in each room for some circulation. Our room was facing the elevator shaft so even opening the window didn’t allow for any air flow, and our trip was definitely dampened by our 4 nights of poor sleep. With summer approaching I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Essential Tips for Staying Near the Sacré-Cœur

Choosing the right hotel is only half the battle; knowing how to navigate the neighborhood will elevate your stay from good to exceptional. Montmartre is a district of hidden staircases, micro-neighborhoods, and specific logistical quirks that can surprise first-time visitors. Understanding these nuances will help you pack appropriately, plan your days efficiently, and avoid common tourist pitfalls while maximizing your enjoyment of this historic hilltop village.

1. Pack for the Hill and Cobblestones

Montmartre is built on a steep hill, and many of the most charming streets are still paved with uneven cobblestones. While the area is serviced by the Montmartre funicular, you will likely be walking up and down slopes frequently. Leave the high heels and thin-soled shoes at home; comfortable, supportive footwear with good grip is essential for exploring safely and comfortably.

2. Master the Metro and Funicular

The closest Metro stations are Anvers (Line 2), Abbesses (Line 12), and Lamarck-Caulaincourt (Line 12). Note that Abbesses station is one of the deepest in Paris, featuring a long spiral staircase if the elevators are busy. To save your legs, use the Montmartre funicular, which is accessible with a standard Metro ticket (Ticket T+). It connects the base of the hill to the top near the basilica.

3. Dine Away from the Main Square

The restaurants immediately surrounding the Place du Tertre and the base of the basilica often rely on tourist traffic, which can lead to overpriced menus and mediocre quality. To eat like a local, walk a few blocks away to the Rue des Abbesses, Rue Lepic, or the quieter streets behind the Sacré-Cœur on the north side of the hill. Here you will find authentic bistros and boulangeries where Parisians actually dine.

4. Be Aware of the "Pigalle" Border

The southern base of the Montmartre hill blends into the Pigalle district, which is famous for its nightlife and the Moulin Rouge. While vibrant and safe, this area is louder and busier late into the night. If you are a light sleeper or traveling with children, opt for a hotel higher up the hill or on the northern side of the basilica to ensure quieter evenings.

5. Visit the Basilica at Dawn or Dusk

Staying nearby gives you a massive advantage over day-trippers. The plaza in front of the Sacré-Cœur is packed from mid-morning until sunset. However, if you walk up at sunrise, you will find the steps nearly empty and the light perfect for photography. Alternatively, visiting late in the evening allows you to see the city lights glittering below without the daytime crush.

6. Explore the "Hidden" North Side

Most tourists never venture past the basilica to the north side of the hill. However, the streets surrounding the Rue du Mont-Cenis and the Place Marcel Aymé are incredibly quiet and residential. Here you can find the "Passe-Muraille" statue (the man walking through a wall) and enjoy a much slower, more authentic pace of life away from the souvenir shops.

Montmartre offers a truly unique lodging experience that combines the grandeur of Paris with the intimacy of a small village. By choosing a hotel near the Sacré-Cœur, you are not just booking a room; you are securing a front-row seat to one of the most romantic and artistically significant neighborhoods in the world. With the right preparation, your stay on the hill will provide memories that linger long after you have descended back into the city center.
