Paris holds a mythical status for food lovers, but that romance can quickly sour when you stumble into a tourist trap serving reheated frozen fare. The difference between a mediocre meal and a transcendent one in this city often comes down to knowing exactly where to look.
While Paris is saturated with brasseries and bistros, the true culinary landscape is defined by chefs who obsess over sourcing, technique, and the simple pleasure of a perfectly executed sauce. Navigating the dining scene here is not just about satiating hunger; it is about understanding the rhythm of the city.
From the early morning rush for a flaky croissant to the late-night clinking of glasses in a wine bar, food is the thread that weaves the arrondissements together. You do not need a massive budget to eat well, but you do need a strategy.
This guide is built on the foundation of timeless establishments that have defined Parisian gastronomy for decades, alongside modern kitchens that are pushing the boundaries of French cuisine. We have focused on venues that prioritize consistency, ensuring that whether you visit in the bloom of spring or the chill of winter, the standard remains impeccably high.
We have sifted through the noise of social media hype to bring you a selection that values substance over spectacle. These are the tables where locals celebrate birthdays, where business deals are sealed over a long lunch, and where the true craft of hospitality is still revered. Whether you are seeking a Michelin-starred tasting menu or a rustic plate of charcuterie, Paris offers a depth of flavor that is unmatched anywhere else on earth.
Understanding that a list of names is only helpful if it fits your specific travel style, we have organized this selection to cover a wide range of neighborhoods and price points. You will find grand dining rooms steeped in history, as well as tiny countertops serving some of the most innovative food in Europe right now.
Prepare to reserve ahead, walk a few extra blocks away from the main monuments, and discover why Paris remains the culinary capital of the world. Here are the dining rooms and kitchens that consistently deliver excellence.

This is one of these restaurants that cover cuisine from half the world, but in an very tasty way. We had delicious fish on steamed veggies and chicken tagine. I was worried when I saw the menu, however I was nicely surprised. The food was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely fantastic food and service!
We had boeuf bourguignon and a lemon chicken tagine and they were both so so flavorful and rich. (Everything else people were ordering around us looked pretty damn good too!)
The beer selection is great, they have a happy hour too 💕
The service was fantastic too, thank you Uzzal for your recommendation!
We also got complimentary green mint tea that was super flavorful, and little chocolates. Honestly, we must return here soon.

We were in the area and decided to dine at Chouchou. The food was great and surpassed our expectations! We had the onion soup, escargot, steak, and duck confit. All the dishes were delicious. The staff is really kind and service was amazing. We will be back again! Highly recommend!

Found this restaurant hrough a YouTuber who gave it glowing reviews, so we decided to give it a try while in Paris. We ordered the escargot, duck confit, onion soup, & for desserts, the crème brûlée & chocolate cake.
The service was impeccable throughout the meal. Super attentive, warm, & welcoming. They had English menus & spoke to us in English. The staff were lovely, and they even gave us a complimentary hot tea & coffee on the house which was a nice touch.
The food overall was very good. The duck confit was cooked really well, soft & tender, & even the potatoes were amazingly soft & comforting. The escargot was also surprisingly tender. The desserts were PHENOMENAL & honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The only downside for us was that most of the dishes leaned a little too salty for our taste.
We came around 8.30pm with a reservation, though it didn’t seem strictly necessary. Also very thankful for the air-conditioning during the current heat wave in Paris. If we had more days here, we would definitely come back again.

I visited here by chance on the way to my hotel.
I found my choice totally right after having lunch.
The lunch menu has enough volume and tastes delicious.
Moreover, the exceptional hospitality of the staff left a strong impression; they gave me a complementary pot of mint tea and a chocolate. If anything, espresso until the end!
I highly recommend here.
This restaurant could be your favorite place in Paris🥐

Stunning food and great portions, but the service needs Michelin-level training
I recently visited for the 6-course tasting menu. The culinary team is incredibly talented—every dish was beautifully detailed, and the variety of sauces and side components was impressive.
Aside from the opening amuse-bouche (which was a bit too intensely flavored to start the meal), the rest of the menu was flawless: 2 excellent appetizers, 2 perfect mains, and 2 desserts.
The portions are generous; if you have a smaller appetite, the 4-course would easily suffice. The food was so good that it kept my date night enjoyable despite some major front-of-house issues.
I am writing this constructive feedback because the food deserves a higher standard of hospitality.
First, our initial seating on the long sofa had a physical gap in the seat. While we were moved to a better spot, that second table was noticeably unstable.
The main area for improvement is the service. Our waitress lacked the training expected of a Michelin-guided establishment. Her movements were rushed and lacked elegance when clearing dishes. When serving the wine, she poured full glasses without offering a taste first, and dripped wine onto the table. There was also a very long, unexplained delay after the first finger food, with no bread or updates offered.
Furthermore, the desserts were served on chipped plates (my friend’s had two cracks, mine had one). When we politely pointed this out, the waitress defensively replied, "There are 10 positives out of just one negative?" Fortunately, she didn't pursue the comment further, or it would have ruined the evening.
The kitchen is doing magnificent work. I truly hope the chef and management read this and invest in training the front-of-house team so the service can finally match the excellent standard of the food.

We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, from the warm and attentive service to the elegant atmosphere that made the evening feel truly special.
The tasting menu was exceptional—each course was beautifully presented and full of incredible flavors, showcasing both creativity and the finest ingredients. Every dish felt like a work of art, and the wine pairing elevated the experience even further.
The staff struck the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality, making us feel welcomed and cared for throughout the evening.
If you're looking for a truly outstanding French gastronomic restaurant for a special occasion, this is the perfect choice. An unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all our expectations. We can't wait to return for another celebration.
(Also, shout out to the person who served us, NEIGE 🙂 Such a lovely person!)

I read about this place in a lot of lists she was very impressed by the ratings and decided to make reservations. They offer a la carte or a prefixed menu. Within the prefixed, there are choices of 4,7 or an even larger menu. We all chose the 4 course. The amouse bouche was okay. The starter was not bad. The fish course was really bad. For some of us, the fish was overdone and got others it was underdone. The duck was very good and the dessert was the best course.
I'm not sure if I would recommend this place as I will not be going back.

Google search found this restaurant, got a table on the same day, fish and beef, the flavor was just okay, but can I ask why they both are cold? I am here having dinner, and I am expecting hot food, it is true the presentation is good, for the 4 course dinner 79 euro, I expect better dessert than a strawberry sorbet. Last, I got diarrhea twice 4 hours after the dinner, I did not eat anything else after dinner, I suspect the fish is not well cooked. I am lucky I l don’t need to go to hospital. Hello, can I get minimum the money 79 euro back to my bank account.

During a recent holiday, I had the pleasure of dining at Sphere, and it was truly a standout experience. My mother and I visited for lunch and were seated immediately. Our server was wonderfully warm, professional, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu. We opted for the 6-course meal, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The scallops with the vibrant green cream and the sweet vanilla dessert were personal highlights. It was an exceptional meal and worth every penny!

Cosy, great food offerings and friendly service. The interiors and size felt like we were visiting a friend’s home for a delicious meal. Our waiter was very kind and allowed us to practice our French with patience. We each had starters, a main and dessert, along with a great bottle of wine. A fabulous option if you want a slightly modern take on traditional French cuisine!

Been here twice and it’s been the best meal I’ve had in Paris both times. Absolutely phenomenal. Just had the duck confit and it’s the best duck I have ever had. The escargot are also incredible, and the wine pairings are outstanding. Great service and a reasonable price in an excellent atmosphere. What more can you ask for?

One of the best meals I had in Paris, everything was executed well in this quaint upstairs seating area with excellent service.
We started off with the foie gras and I had the escargot which was excellent. The escargot was in shell shaped puff pastry which was perfect with the snails. This was followed by the beef check and my partner had the duck confit. Both were delicious with the beef melting in your mouth. The duck was particularly excellent with crispy skin. To top it off was an excellent lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Its location makes it great to shop then eat or vice versa. Def recommend!
Truman “Mrtinytru” Mitchell★★★★★
I can’t stress enough how good this place is!! I literally saw a comment here about how this customer felt like crying eating the duck confit and I can second that comment. What a tasteful dinner full of flavor! The food itself made our experience so unique but it was not the only thing, every single staff was extremely attentive and kind in their service, always explaining the menu in details so we would choose the best option. We had the cheese platter that was impeccable and finished with creme brulee and lava cake. Can I just say this is the tastiest lava cake I’ve ever had. Dark chocolate with a nice hint of salt in the caramel making it the perfect combination. This is coming from someone that makes lava cake every week to perfect it. They made it better. I forgot to mention but I’ve never had escargot before and tried here for the first time. That was the very first thing we ate here and we were like “this is the best thing we’ve eaten in France. Little did we know every other thing we ordered would be just better and better. Will definitely come back!
Ps forgot to take pictures of the dessert but I have a picture of the aftermath (we don’t usually finish desserts but you can see what happened here)

The best meal we’ve had in Paris. Hands down. We ordered the duck confit, beef cheek, foie gras, escargot, and lava cake. Everything was exquisite. It’s a small & cozy place, so make sure you make reservations! Will totally come back and recommend to our friends & family.

one of those trendy cafe/restaurant type deals. super friendly and funny waiter and the decor here was definitely a vibe.
food isn’t amazing, though I really did enjoy the truffle with poached eggs (7 euros). chicken cutlet was dry, and the sauce lacked any depth unfortunately. truffle pasta was pretty good. the pizza was small, though that does check out with to the price (6 euros). the pastas were between 16-17 euros.
serviceable place for food, but nothing much stood out except for the exceptional service!

If you are looking for some nice place to have good food late in the night...this is where you gooo!! Menu is limited late in the night but it's still so much better than a lot of places I guess?
Shout out to their creme brule🤌
Oh yes and their ambience and atmosphere on the street was very good!

The food was so good and they have a big menu selection with multiple languages. I got the Milanese-Style Chicken Cutlet and it was amazing!! Another person in my group got the Pad Thai and loved it. I absolutely loved our server, Angel, too, they were super friendly and helpful!💙 I would say it’s better to go with a party of 2 or 3 but they are able to seat parties of 4+ easily inside. I’d 100% recommend! (Make a reservation though!)

Lovely place to eat breakfast and really good service .
Inside and outside is perfect to eat .
Went there 2 days in a row.
The english breakfast was perfect, with fresh scrambled eggs , with bacon and salade. Coffee of tea or hot chocolate with a very good fresh orange Juice. The bread and the croissants are define.
And you get Nutella and Jam and butterfly with it too.
Tara Gray★★★★☆
The food was great! The service was just ok though. They asked us right away what we wanted to order and we said we needed a couple minutes. We waited about 15-20 min and then finally flagged someone down. They missed one of the items that we ordered and we also didn’t get the free bread that we saw every other table get when they sat down. Cute place with good food but the service was not great, was also very loud (we sat inside), wouldn’t go back.

Having eaten at fine dining restaurants around the world, I found this lunch experience a disappointing given the restaurant’s reputation and Michelin-starred status.
The setting and views are undeniably beautiful, yet we were seated behind a column that blocked a lot of them. When I asked if we could move to one of several empty tables with a clear view, I was told it would be too complicated to arrange. Those tables then stayed empty for the entire meal.
The food was well prepared and nicely presented, but it just didn’t have the flavour, creativity, or wow factor you’d expect at this level.
More concerning was the service. The sommelier never came back to take our drinks order, so we had to follow up ourselves. Water was spilled on the plate and table, and the jus for our main course was poured rather carelessly, leaving drips on both the plate and serving vessel. Our waitress however was very polite.
I understand that services can get busy, but attention to detail is exactly what sets great restaurants apart from simply good ones. The view would have been the best part of the experience had we not been sat next to a column. I would consider coming back for a drink with the view, but not for another meal.

We came for lunch on 12/25 and only then realized our reservation was for the following day. The staff were so kind and still accommodated us.
From start to finish, it was an outstanding experience—attentive service, a relaxed yet elegant ambience, and truly memorable food, desserts, and views.
Our waiter (half-jokingly) said dessert would be the best part of the meal, and he wasn’t wrong. Every dessert we ordered was exceptional.
The oysters and the French toast were the best we’ve ever had!
Don’t miss the terrace—the view over the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the distance is stunning.
Dining at Le Tout-Paris was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re very grateful for the experience.
Martin Vikan★★★★★
We were lucky to be seated on the terrace. If you want a terrace table, it’s best to request it when making your reservation.
The staff were professional, attentive, and very friendly. The grilled lobster was the highlight of our visit, perfectly paired with a delicious white wine.
It was difficult to find anything to complain about—our experience was 10/10. Highly recommended.
Chris lucskay★★★★★
This establishment delivers a pinnacle fine-dining experience, anchored by breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the sparkling Eiffel Tower.
I opted for the 5-course tasting menu, and every dish was a masterclass in technique. Standouts included a delicate white fish in a luxurious cream sauce, an intricately balanced vegetable course, and a spectacular architectural chocolate dessert. They also boast an impressive world-class wine program.
What truly elevated the evening, however, was the hospitality. The service was, without exaggeration, the best I have ever experienced…highly attentive, precisely orchestrated, yet incredibly warm. An absolute must-visit.
Haley Hartwick★★★★☆
This hotel is lovely, and the service in every corner was incredible. The food was delicious, though obviously expensive, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The view from Le Tout was nice, but not stunning. You could see the Eiffel and Notre Dame, but they are fairly far away and do not make for a fantastic photo. The interior of the restaurant seemed a little…worn? Like it could use some freshening up.
A nice place, but I wouldn’t return here for a big birthday or anniversary. Our celebration was a bit of a disappointment compared to the money we paid to be here.
Maybe try somewhere like the Jukes Vern if you’re looking for more special occasion/“wow, a fancy birthday meal in Paris!” vibes? I’m really not sure.
Also, this restaurant is not air conditioned.

First time in Paris and my friend suggested I visit their favorite place! OH MY GOSH! I had one of THE best meals that I have had in a long time! The Bouef Bourgugnon was PHENOMENAL - used the soft pillowy bread to soak up the sauce, the vegetables were perfectly done, it was pure heaven - I even drank the rest of the left over broth - no shame here! My dessert was the Chocolate Tulip - also out of this world. Highly recommend both.
Loved it so much, was telling a friend about it, and he wanted to try it as well as soon as he landed! We each got the escargot, shared the onion soup (amazing), and an entree.
I will be recommending this place to everyone visiting - and cannot wait to visit when i return!
Great job and thank you to the entire team!

We had no reservations, it was raining and we were sans umbrella, they were very busy — and they still took us in. The manager moved an outdoor table for us and I watched him do the same for another larger family. The beef stew was divine, French onion soup was unforgettable, even my kids’ fried chicken was delicious. The hot chocolate was not too sweet. Service was quick and so helpful and kind.

An excellent Parisian restaurant in the Le Maris district. The food was excellent and very friendly staff. We had their French onion soup which was delicious and went very well with their bread. We also ordered the sea bass ceviche and CONCHIGLIONI WITH RICOTTA AND SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, cream of dried porcini mushrooms.
The onion soup and Conchigliono were my favorites.
For main we also ordered BOEUF BOURGUIGNON (my favorite) and CHÂTEAU FILET with truffle mayonnaise and DUCK BREAST.

Honestly always one of my first few meals upon arriving in Paris from NYC. I’ve already been here 4 times just this year. It’s a pretty busy spot but they accept walk ins. I’ve found that if you’re pretty warm and nice and greet them with Bonjours and Bonsoirs depending on the time of the day you get there, they have always been wonderful. I feel there’s a specific English speaking section with waiters who are mostly Indian or Asians who attend to English speaking customers but there are a few who are still attentive and checking in on your glass of wine and if you needed anything. I’ve gone here solo many times or with a friend and it’s never failed me/us. I usually plan for a full meal here if I’ve only had breakfast for the day so I can enjoy my favorites. I typically start with a glass of champagne or red, depending on my mood for the day, their French Onion soup (one of the best I’ve had!) or pate (good but I prefer the soup if just choosing between the 2), and then have a Beef Bourguignon as my main dish. The latter is of course what they’re known for, even naming the restaurant after it. Incredibly tender and so delicious. They of course give you baguette/bread on the side, so you know the move. Dip the bread in that perfect sauce. I usually don’t get the opportunity to have dessert given I’m always full after but tried their creme brulee once with a friend and it was divine. Service and staff are wonderful so don’t forget to round that amount off when paying to give them a little something the French way. Merci beaucoup Au Bourguignon du Marais, I’m sure I’ll see you again in a few weeks!

Au Bourguignon du Marais is a total dream if you are looking for classic, comforting French food in Paris! Tucked away in the trendy Marais district, it has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely top-notch. It is the perfect cozy spot to enjoy a fabulous meal and a great glass of Burgundy wine after a day of exploring the city!

Wait staff were kind, helpful and prompt. Meal was creative, contemporary, and delicious. We had the lapin, which was served three ways, and a vegetable tart. Short wine list but very fine options. Cocktails available. Dessert was a unique blend of savory and sweet.

Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, but food slightly disappointing. The starters and desserts were good, but entrees average. I did not particularly enjoy the dumpling with curry foam, but ingredients were fresh so I appreciated that. The panna cotta was my favorite - especially the hint of jasmine. Very tasty 🙂 The bathroom was quite clean and spacious and restaurant atmosphere is lovely. The set menu was a good value overall, but I had higher expectations.

Absolutely delicious! Every dish was outstanding. We had the prix fixe menu: octopus and shrimp ceviche, then seared tuna, with a main dish of pork ( amazingly tender and flavorful) with a dessert of fruit sorbet. The chef uses Asian-influenced flavors to create a wonderfully innovative cuisine. Merci to our server for the wine advice, too. Tremendous value for the price.

The food was really good, coupled with excellent service and a really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
The food was innovative, thoughtful but “real” at the same time. When I saw the set menu for the night, I have to admit that I had my doubts. But then I was so positively surprised - especially enjoyed the stuffed tomato and the sardine.
It is really good value for money too!

We went to this restaurant after seeing the positive reviews and ordered the beef hot-stone grill, which comes as a portion for two people. The experience was enjoyable, as you grill the beef yourself on the hot stone and pair it with a selection of different sauces. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauces complemented it very well. The dish was also served with a side salad and potatoes.
The restaurant has a cozy, old-fashioned atmosphere that gives it plenty of character, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit.
If you are staying around Rue Monge in Paris, we would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner.

The gentleman who took my order was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The food arrived quickly, and the service throughout the meal was excellent.
I also loved the atmosphere, the restaurant has a beautiful, distinctive and very charming feel. Considering the quality of the food, the service and the overall experience, I thought the prices were very reasonable.
One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had during my trip to Paris. I would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful meal here on our first trip to Paris from America! The staff were all very nice and really made us feel welcome. For dinner we had escargot, beef carpaccio, onion soup, and beef bourguignon, with crème brûlée for dessert.
Everybody in our group loved the food, especially the beef bourguignon. If you are in the area I highly recommend this bistro!

FANTASTIC! Please make time to come to this wonderful restaurant!
This place was absolutely delicious - we were lucky to get a table without a reservation. Service was very good. Very attentive and kind, felt right at home.
Sangria and G&T were both spectacular.
Beef Bourguignon was the best I’ve had in many years! Warm and delicious flavors. Beef carpaccio and escargot were SO DELICIOUS! We ended it off with a to-die-for creme brûlée. Best dinner we had on our trip to Paris - BY FAR!

An overall 5 star experience with the price tag to match.
We throughly enjoyed ourselves here. It was indeed an amazing experience.
Long sleeved shirt is a must here. But from the moment you enter, service was attentive and friendly.
The food was not only delicious but very pretty. We would say the fish dishes, especially the cook on the fish was the best we had by far. It was tender and infused with flavours.
The sommelier was very knowledgeable and his wine recommendations were superb.
Do allocate sufficient time and the dining experience can be lengthy.

5/5 (lunch, July 7th)
An exceptional dining experience in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Paris.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was breathtaking. The elegant dining room, with its refined blue and purple floral arrangements, felt grand yet intimate—a perfect setting for a memorable meal.
We decided to try every appetizer on the menu, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the lunch - Every single starter was outstanding.
Even the complimentary amuse-bouches immediately awakened our palate. The crab appetizer was incredibly fresh, light and delicate, allowing the natural sweetness and texture of the crab to shine. The mackerel with caviar was beautifully balanced, while the lobster dish showcased the remarkable quality of the seafood with flawless execution. One of the surprises was the “risotto.” Instead of rice, it was a creative interpretation built around generous amounts of black truffle. Rich, intensely savory and wonderfully aromatic, it was one of the most memorable dishes of the meal.
For the main courses, we chose the red mullet and the lamb. Both were beautifully cooked, and the sauces were everything you would hope for in classic French haute cuisine—deep, elegant and perfectly matched to the ingredients without overwhelming them.
Service throughout the lunch was polished, attentive and effortlessly professional. Every detail reflected the standards expected from one of Paris’ most iconic restaurants.
Epicure celebrates the timeless beauty of French gastronomy. Rather than trying to surprise with unusual combinations, it perfects the classics with extraordinary ingredients, impeccable technique and remarkable consistency. It is a restaurant we would gladly return to.

This is the most unforgettable French cuisine dining experience. This is the best of the best that I have tried around the world for fine dining experience. From the seating environment to service and all the details of the dishes that we reserve during our prefixed tasting menu are truly well explained how this restaurant can be michilin 3 stars since 2009. Even the menu is seasonal to reflect the France flag colors! All dishes are well prepared abs designed to serve. I still cannot imagine how many years a chef needs to be trained to to provide a quality cuisine like this. You are looking for a classic yet and Creative french fi dining experience this is definitely the place to go!

Dining at Epicure Le Bristol Paris was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and what surprised us most was how welcoming and accommodating it was for families—something you don’t always expect from a three-Michelin-star restaurant.
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The staff struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making us feel comfortable rather than intimidated. They were especially attentive to our children, ensuring they felt included and at ease throughout the entire experience. Nothing ever felt rushed, and every request was handled seamlessly.
The presentation of each dish was simply stunning—every plate felt like a piece of art. The attention to detail, color, and composition elevated the entire dining experience and made each course feel special and memorable.
Of course, the food itself more than lived up to the reputation. Every dish was beautifully balanced, with rich flavors and impeccable execution. From start to finish, it was clear that only the highest-quality ingredients were used, and each bite reflected the kitchen’s mastery.
Overall, Epicure delivers not just world-class cuisine, but a genuinely welcoming and refined experience that even families can fully enjoy. It’s rare to find a restaurant at this level that combines elegance, warmth, and approachability so effortlessly.

10 stars! Wonderful experience at this amazing restaurant. Everyone is well trained and on point with their job. It is like watching a ballet seeing the team move around. Our main server Oisin was MVP for the night. He made sure everything was flawless. Besides the unbelievable food and execution which goes without saying the small attention to detail really made the experience over the top. 1. Custom take away menu printing of the food you had with all the courses dates etc. We had a minor change in our course and the young lady reprinted the beautiful takeaway menus for us 2. The food was delivered to each patron at the table at exactly the same time. I know this is standard for Michelin star restaurants but I mean exact time. 3. At one instance the plate
Was not facing exactly the correct orientation the server rotated right away. They have flawless systems and execution. We will be coming on our next trip.

We had a really disappointing meal at jules verne. Then a quite poor one at la vague d’or in st tropez. So we were quite worried that the french had forgotten how to serve a good meal.
Alliance single-handedly redeemed France for us. Incredible vegetable preparations, which we love. Turbot that put three star places to shame. Pigeon finally cooked like it is supposed to be. Exceptional wine matches and great service. This 8 table restaurant is the real deal. It is also way less expensive than the other places we went to while offering up a much better meal.
Just fantastic overall and by far best meal of our trip. Just sad we could not try the cheese cart.

The food were designed, prepared, crafted, cooked and assembled to perfection.
Every bite, a joy. Every dish, well thought of and beautifully balanced.
The service and front of house are amazing, the restaurant is truly run by a team from inside out, the tentative service really allowed diners to see the whole picture, to see and experience the journey of Alliance.

Our final night in Paris was at Alliance on June 26th. The entire dinner service was BEYOND(thank you Shawn Joyeux for helping when I did not have the words). The service started with Chef Omiya graciously taking a picture with my wife and I. Wine pairings were on point and accompanied each course perfectly. The gnocchi/caviar and pigeon were highlights. The food, preparation, service and personality worked so well together. The night ended with a personal touch from Chef Omiya and Shawn Joyeux meeting us outside so we could give our appreciation. Every bite, taste, experience and interaction made us feel as if we were the most important people in the room. Merci Beaucoup to the entire Alliance team!

This restaurant was Awesome. We had the four course lunch and left very full. Service was top notch. Lots of extra food beyond the courses. Flavor's were really good. Really enjoyed the atmosphere being a small space and that we could see into the kitchen through the glass.
Tim Wong★★★★☆
We had the 3 courses lunch (plenty of extra small dishes so we were quite full even with 3 courses). All 3 courses were very good. There were some hit and misses with the extras in between courses. I found some of them had too strong a vinaigrette taste. The petit fours before the dessert didnt look too refined. The fermented salad cream was very bitter and not to everyone's taste, I think it would have been better as a palate cleanser. I love the artichoke cream which was slightly charred and covering some pieces of artichoke, and the broccoli cream in a tube amuse bouche. The bread was a bit dried out near the crust, that was perhaps the most surprising as the quality of bread in Paris is usually exemplary. Not a huge issue as the dishes are mostly quite delicate so I dont need the bread much. The service was good but perhaps because we dont speak French I found some of the explanations not super informative, I expected a little more "story telling" at a Michelin starred establishment. Overall a nice meal albeit not perfect.

After a day of sightseeing we made our way to Hebe restaurant, and in retrospect, it turned out to be the best dinner we had during our trip to Paris.
The dining room is intimate and cozy with a handful of tables, creating a relaxed and slightly romantic atmosphere. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant fills up quickly.
Service was excellent and paced very well throughout the evening. Staff speaks very good English , explains the menu clearly and was very knowledgeable regarding gluten free and made adaptations.
We started with an amuse bouche and a two of Fresh Hebe cocktails with gin, champagne and citrus flavors. Absolutely delicious.
For starters we had the heirloom tomato dish with garlic, mint, pistachio and infused tomato water with anise. Very Lebanese/Mediterranean in flavor profile and absolutely incredible. We also ordered the white asparagus in season with arugula pesto and feta cream, perfectly prepared.
The highlight of the evening for me was the lamb stuffed with zaatar, dried apricots and ginger, served with a rich jus and pickled turnips. This was also gluten free ! Truly one of the best dishes I had during my time in Paris.
For dessert, we had strawberries prepared in multiple textures with almond crumble, pralines, and whipped cream. Beautifully presented, but more importantly, the strawberries were a reminder to the palette of how strawberry should taste : fresh and full of flavor.
Overall, an exceptionally well executed dinner with creative dishes, excellent pacing and great service.
Next time I return to Paris, I will absolutely be booking Hebe again. Thank you for the memories !

Lunch menu is reasonable for the quality and location.
The cuisine is belong to gastronomic level so for this standard the menu price is quite a good value. The taste is good but not « wow » level yet.
I’d recommend to go with friends for a quick lunch or for tourists to get a nice French meal (ingredients fresh, cuisine with techniques, definitely not those frozen prepared tourist place)

We had such an incredible experience at Hebe. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had. There was 1 vegan and 3 everything-eaters in our group, and there was genuinely something for everyone. The 3-person tasting menu was perfect, with a great amount of food. And such a treat to visit a restaurant that offers vegan options (cue pics!) - especially to the standard they were at last night. Incredible food. Thanks so much.

We had a lovely dinner here! Vegan, vegetarian and meat options. I let them know about a nut intolerance when booking and they were able to adjust the dishes for me. Wonderful service! Vegan Friendly 🌱

This is a lovely small restaurant. It has a vegetarian menu which isn’t common for fancier restaurants.
The servers were both very friendly and helpful and tolerated my terrible French (they do offer an English menu).

There is simply nothing better than eating at Guy Savoy. It is the most decadent meal you’ll ever have. The best restaurant in the world for 8 years running for a reason. The wine pairings are perfect and the food is amazing. I’ve never had a better meal, except the last time I dined there. My server Nadav was exceptional. He made my solo dining enjoyable and always made sure that I had everything that I needed. Im looking forward to going back soon!

An unforgettable experience at Guy Savoy Paris. The food was exceptional—refined, creative, and executed to perfection. What truly elevates it, though, is the world-class service: warm, attentive, and effortlessly elegant without ever feeling overdone.
We’ve dined at Guy Savoy in Las Vegas, which is fantastic in its own right, but there’s something undeniably special about the Paris location—the ambiance, the history, and the soul of the place make it a completely different level of experience. Truly one of the finest meals we’ve had. Highly recommend.

We don't do fine dining ever. This was my sister's first time. My second. So due to that it was a little intimidating at first. But the staff did a great job of helping us relax and enjoy the experience. They talked to us and made a few jokes, but were always on their game. The food was both experimental and traditional. The wine suggested by the Som was delicious. We drank the entire thing. Overall great experience.

My daughter is a fan of Gordon Ramsey and Ratatouille. So when she met Guy Savoy personally, she became a puddle with eyes. She didnt know what to do with herself. Price vs Food, Service and Atmosphere is totally worth it.
We loved this place from the moment we arrived until we left.

Dinner at L’Oiseau Blanc was one of those experiences we’ll remember for a long time. Before dinner, the team surprised us with something really special a private table out on the balcony. It felt like our own little corner above Paris, with an incredible view that made the whole evening even more unforgettable. The restaurant has two Michelin stars, and you can absolutely taste why. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, but nothing felt overcomplicated or like it was trying too hard. It was fine dining at its best creative, elegant, and genuinely enjoyable. What made the night even more special was the service. Everyone made us feel welcome, relaxed, and never rushed. It felt personal not formal. If you’re celebrating something special or just want one of those “I’ll never forget this dinner” moments L’Oiseau Blanc is absolutely worth it. Between the food, the view and that unforgettable balcony experience, it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Paris.

This was are third time we celebrated our anniversary at L’Oiseau Blanc in three years. It is always an amazing place to have lunch. The food is unique but small portions and this seasonal flight menu was not as good as the previous years. The sommelier, Florent Martin, is excellent. His recommendations and attention to our questions was top notch. The restaurant manager, Benoît Legros, is so pleasant and remembers us each time. It is always great to see Mamadou, even just to shake is hand. Why the four star? Our server, Adrien, was not as engaging as the rest of the staff. My wife asked for the cheese plate as our appetizer and I don’t think he liked that. He seemed to be aloof for the remainder of our lunch. Laurencea was extremely attentive and answered many of our questions. We did not get the chocolate bellman to celebrate our anniversary which was surprising. Let’s be clear, the restaurant is one of the best. I still recommend you going. Merci to all.

If I had to pick one restaurant in Paris, France—it would be l’Oiseau Blanc. This restaurant pays homage to the love of aviation. Everything from the design of the restaurant (which looks like the interior of a cockpit) to the dishes themselves—evokes flight. Michelin-Star Chef David Bizet and his crew have done a spectacular job at ensuring that every diner experiences something magical at their restaurant. I had the full tasting menu. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was heavenly. I would definitely return to l’Oiseau Blanc!

All good. While comparing with other Michelin experience, I could not remember the taste of what I ate after. Food is good, but not amazing. Especially the good-looking butter really so so. but it’s a good environment to enjoy the view and the service.

Our dining experience here was truly a beautiful journey. We were welcomed by smiling team members and escorted to our private table on the highest floor, with one of the best views of Paris (Eiffel Tower to the right and Sacre Coeur to the left). Our tasting menu with the wine pairing was the best meal I've ever had in Paris. Even with a little rain, they were prepared with a large umbrella that did not obfuscate our view. Rooftop dinner with sparkling Eiffel Tower was so, so dreamy. An unforgettable experience at L'Oiseau blanc! ♥️

We were walking by this place just as they were opening up for dinner service and what drew us in was the cozy appearance that looked like it came from a movie. We got lucky as we had no reservations and still got a table as it seemed fairly popular. The service was quick and welcoming and they were always on top of things. We dined outside and it retained its cozy atmosphere.
The real appeal though is their food. Absolutely amazing food. The presentation looked appetizing and one taste confirms it. We started with some mushrooms which wetted our appetites and set the expectations. I had rabbit for the first time and this was the best place to be introduced to it. It was cooked perfectly, properly seasoned, and well presented on the plate. For dessert we had the Grand Marnier crepe and it came with a little spectacle as they lit the alcohol and you could see your crepe hey toasted right before your eyes.
If your looking to have a traditional French cuisine experience at a reasonable price, then look no further!!

We stopped here for dinner on our stay in Paris. Food was delicious and we also were very satisfied with the service and the atmosphere. Service was polite, courteous and efficient. We haven't made reservations beforehand but I think it is better to do it as we manage to secure the last free table and afterwards we saw many people being turned away because there was simply not a single table available. I had the salmon and my friend had the duo of sea bass and clams. They were both delicious. As desert I tried the icecream which also turned out to be very good. What a great find in the Latin Quarter, I hope to eat here again on my next trip to Paris.

Delicious French cuisine, the best I've had in Paris so far. The atmosphere is cozy, and it's conveniently located near Notre-Dame. The special menu changes daily based on fresh produce, alongside a consistent regular menu. For Easter, we enjoyed sauté de veau and civet de lapin paired with red wine, followed by a superb after-lunch coffee. The service felt personal and heartfelt , the staff were knowledgeable about the daily menu and took the time to explain the dishes to us.

We had lunch here after my daughter’s wedding in 2019 and loved it so I was excited to return in spring 2026. The food was excellent. I had a pumpkin soup, sea bass with scallops and crème brullee. My friend had the roast chicken and loved it. All were excellent but the fish was particularly good, the best entree I had in Paris that week.
Service was warm and good humored, especially considering how busy they were. It’s tight quarters but that only adds to the charm.

Our waiter was very polite, the wine was great, and the service was amazing. A bottle of Puliaic for €60 can’t be beaten. The steak and fish were excellent, definitely the best spot in Saint Michel

Coffee over wine★★★★★
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We booked our table 2 days before. We arrived at the restaurant as soon as it opened (7pm). It is a charming little place. Can be a bit tight for some people but this is Paris. Our table was small but was very workable. It got busy in no time at all. The service was good. Expect some delays during busy times. Our food was great. Our starters (a la plancha squid and chicken skewers) could be a bit more tender and have a but more flavour. But it was fine. Our mains however (pork belly and crispy iberian pork) was fantastic. The pork belly was lovely but the knife I used was a bit blunt. This need sharpening. The cheesecake was scrumptious and the french toast was amazing! Good place to have dinner definitely.

Everything at Chez Delphine was exquisite. The food, delicious and authentic. The vibe, cozy and warm. We had a blast and really enjoyed the evening. We highly recommend the duck Magret de Canard with the sauce. The place is highly visited so we did made a reservation in advance.
Maggie Leung★★★★☆
The restaurant is small and quaint, though a little cramped in the aisles and between tables (as seems to be common in many French restaurants). The service was attentive and polite, though not necessarily friendly or warm.
The menu is very typical French cuisine with option to have appetizer + main or main + dessert for 27€ or all 3 courses for 34€ (note: some of the menu options were priced with additional 2-4€ on top, e.g. escargot, beef bourguignon). We only chose to do the appetizer + main, since we were too full for dessert. The food was overall excellent! The French onion soup was thick and onion-y, though cheese was clumpy and lacked any string pull. Escargots were great and the mains were also 💯. Beef bourguignon was nice and tender with a nice, thick, gravy accompanying it. The Iberian pork pluma was perfectly cooked with nice crust and tender meat inside - very similar to a Japanese-style pork cutlet (katsu).
We were unfortunately sat at the worst table in the restaurant because it was simply an "add-on"/"extra" table set up because they ran out of their normal tables. The table was round and smaller than the others, and right at the edge of the wall next to the already tight aisle with lots of foot traffic from waiters/servers moving about. This made us feel like an after-thought or feel less than the other patrons in the restaurant, which unfortunately ruined some of the experience for us.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Quaint, warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding. I had an escargot appetizer and the pork belly with green beans. My friend had escargot as well, and the beef stew. Both were delicious. Highly recommend.

This is my absolute favorite spot in Paris. The service here is impeccable, and everyone goes above and beyond to make me feel special. They even remembered one of my favorite dishes, razor clams, and made sure to save it for me, even though it wasn’t on the menu. Don’t miss the airy and light mash potatoes; they’re the best you’ll ever eat. And the rice pudding is simply out of this world. The menu changes seasonally, so you’re always discovering new and exciting dishes. I can’t praise this restaurant and its staff enough.

Superb food. Incredible service. Delightful ambience. Our new favourite bistro. What a winner. All the staff were so kind and attentive. Food was fabulous and such a great vibe! Don’t miss the beef. Sublime!

Amazing food! Very crowded and your conversations won't have privacy haha. But I love the vibes. Ended up being EUR185 for two. Better than any French food we has in the US.
We had:
- Razor clams: super tasty broth!!
- Beef cheek: perfectly tender. Perfect flavor.
- Pigeon: also very tasty but I like this the least
- Rice pudding: no wonder this is the signature. So good. Especially with caramel mousse and nuts.

Although it’s not cheap, it’s one of those rare places that feels worth it after the meal. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the food—from appetizers to dessert—is consistently excellent.
The starter with eel, egg, asparagus, and sauce was very well balanced—flavorful without being overly salty.
The veal sweetbreads as a main were a new experience for me; the portion was generous and perfectly seared. The coffee bean–like garnish added a distinctive touch that really stood out.
The rice pudding is a must-order. The caramelized nuts and caramel cream give it great depth and layers of flavor. You can tell the restaurant pays close attention to detail. I really loved it, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Paris.

Amazing food and service. Chef was warm and his staff was outstanding. A great find for the beef cheeks, duck breast and Parmesan soup are highlights. Nice wine list as well.
Tips for Dining Out in Paris
To truly enjoy the Parisian dining scene like an insider, a little preparation goes a long way. The rules of engagement here are slightly different than in other major cities, and understanding the local etiquette will ensure you receive the warmest service and the best possible experience.
1). Master the Art of the Reservation
Walk-ins are rarely accepted at the city’s best restaurants, especially for dinner. Use platforms like TheFork or call directly a few days in advance. If you are trying to secure a table at a highly sought-after bistro, be prepared to book weeks, or even a month, ahead of your trip.
2). Embrace the Fixed-Price Menu
Look for the Formule or Menu du Jour at lunchtime. This is where you will find the best value in the city. Top chefs often use the lunch service to showcase simpler, market-driven dishes at a fraction of the dinner cost, allowing you to experience fine dining on a budget.
3). Adjust Your Meal Times
Parisians generally eat lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM and dinner from 7:30 PM onward. If you try to eat dinner at 6:00 PM, you will likely find the restaurant empty or still closed. Grabbing a late lunch or an early dinner is the best way to secure a table at a busy spot without a reservation.
4). Understand the Service Culture
Service in Paris is professional but often reserved. It is customary to greet your server with a friendly “Bonjour” or “Bonsoir” upon entering. Do not expect the check to be brought to you automatically; asking for “L’addition, s’il vous plaît” signals that you are finished and ready to pay.
5). Drink Like a Local
Tap water is perfectly safe and free; simply ask for “Une carafe d’eau.” When it comes to wine, do not be afraid to ask the sommelier or server for a recommendation based on your budget. They take great pride in pairing you with an affordable bottle from a small producer that will elevate your meal.
The beauty of dining in Paris lies in its respect for the craft. It is a city where a simple baguette is defended by law and where a chef can spend a lifetime perfecting a single sauce. By stepping away from the heavily trafficked tourist corridors and into the dining rooms listed above, you are giving yourself the opportunity to taste the authentic soul of the city.
Whether you are indulging in a multi-course tasting menu or simply splitting a bottle of natural wine with a plate of cheese, slow down and savor the moment. In Paris, a meal is never just fuel; it is an event, a memory, and an essential part of the journey.
