Passing through Dijon for a weekend as a Swiss tourist, I had the pleasure of discovering this magnificent boutique. Even from the outside, it immediately catches the eye: it's stunning, elegant, and invites you inside.
Once inside, I was greeted with a huge smile and remarkable kindness. The advice was top-notch, personalized, and given with great passion. You immediately sense that you're dealing with true professionals.
I discovered several products I wasn't familiar with at all, and it was a wonderful surprise. The body lotion I bought is absolutely incredible: its fragrance is delicate, refined, and lasts perfectly. It's so refreshing to find products with real character, especially now that many shower gels and skincare products have very subtle scents.
I also bought a face cream that suits me perfectly, as well as a deodorant that I'm very happy with.

I went for the first time for a half-leg and underarm wax, as well as a semi-permanent polish and Russian manicure. The waxing was great; the esthetician made me feel comfortable and did a beautiful, gentle, and impeccable job. The semi-permanent polish on my toes was also perfect, and I highly recommend it. I have a slight reservation about the Russian manicure, which is known for being a thorough treatment and polishing with a strengthening product, without the application of polish. However, I only received a filing and an application of an unnatural pink polish without any strengthening, which started chipping after only two hours, especially for €25. So, if I have one complaint, it would be about this service, which I wouldn't recommend because it's not what you find elsewhere. This isn't the fault of the salon staff, but rather an impression of a lack of resources, using "finished" products which unfortunately doesn't allow them to guarantee and fully satisfy their clients. Thanks again to the two women who were wonderful and professional.
I had my first set of lashes done on April 25th, light Russian volume with a subtle babydoll effect, exactly what I wanted for my vacation: a pretty, light, and natural result. This past Saturday, May 23rd, I went back for a touch-up after a month, and honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well they've held up: I'd hardly lost any! The best manicure I've ever had in my life! Sabine was super nice, did a great job on my pedicure and a supreme job on my Russian manicure with gel. It was only €70 total for the service. If your English speaking... The website says it is cash only, or PayPal or something that I think is like debit card. Thank God I had just enough cash on me. But plan ahead.. for some reason the website didn't translate it in English for me, or it's very possible I forgot! Regardless... Would definitely recommend!

I'm disappointed with the semi-permanent nail polish application because I wanted beautiful nails for my vacation, and the result after 4 days was 2 nails with more polish. At no point is it specified that this type of application lasts a short time (between 7 and 10 days) for €39, whereas for the same price I had 6 weeks of wear at my previous salon.
However, I would like to highlight the welcome and the very pleasant location.

If you want to waste your time, you've come to the right place. I've been here two days in a row to get my nails done. The first time I arrived at 5:20 PM: no way. The next day I came back at 4:45 PM: no way, it's not early enough. And the salon closes at 7 PM... Do I have to take a day off work to get my nails done here?
Catastrophic. I've been to several, but this one is beyond words... Called to Dijon for a collaboration, I had to go get waxed (€70, so several areas). In the middle of summer, it's often packed. She came to get me from the waiting room and, in front of everyone, told me exactly what to do: "The client who needs her bikini line, legs..." (she didn't even call me by my last name). Inside the booth, she used only one strip for both legs... It was sticky everywhere: on the paper, on her gloves, on my skin after she ripped it off... The wax was dripping. I had blood on my armpits and bikini line, it was so rough. There was no communication; she was very closed off (I don't really care about that... but still, spending an hour with someone without speaking definitely doesn't make you want to come back...). Not to mention that I left with wax under my armpits, on my legs (imagine what that's like when you're driving), and on my bikini line.
I usually have a very good impression of Body Minute. I'm happy to stop by when I'm in Dijon, living in New York. Unfortunately, I arrived a little before closing time for a service I politely requested at 6:45 pm. Someone suddenly appeared behind me in the street and blocked my way into the shop. I had to explain the service I wanted right there on the street. I wasn't even allowed to go in and make an appointment. I was scolded like a child, not a customer. It would have been more professional to come back tomorrow and let me make an appointment.
Catastrophic.
After just one week, my nails are already in a terrible state: lifting, sloppy finish… clearly not professional work.
They advertised €25 for a semi-permanent manicure, but then told me it would be an additional €20 for removal. Fine.
Then, the technician barely started, looked at me, and asked if she was going to remove my cuticles… even though that's essential for clean, well-groomed nails.
And then, surprise: an extra €8.
So you pay for everything à la carte, even the bare minimum, and on top of that, she has an awkward attitude that makes you feel like you're bothering her by asking for decent work.
The result: expensive, poorly done, and with no professional standards whatsoever. I've never seen anything like it. Avoid at all costs.
