Let’s start the statement with, the food was great, I love subway! ❤️
The service, on the other hand…. Horrible, we said hi in French, and then in English, the guy (probably the manager because he was teaching the other one) was really rude, he did not said hello, and was rude on every word he talked to us….
The manners, everything, really and awful experience.
Lastly, I requested the 4€ fries, which are typically served as a side dish. He gave me a strange look, went to the container, grabbed some cold fries, and reheated them. I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be done, but it was certainly unusual.
I’ll suggest that the owner reconsider or train the manager to be more courteous. The food was excellent, but the manager seemed disinterested in interacting with customers.

I really needed to use the toilet because of an emergency (got my period spontaneously)
So i bought something and asked the young brown haired woman who took my order if i could go to the toilet. Apparently she said that its only possible if i bought something for 5€, which is quite frankly outrageous.
She said it with a passive aggressive tone and was very unfriendly in general.
The cookie also tasted poorly.
Wouldn’t recommend!!!!!!!

McDonald’s was clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant dining area and tidy tables. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were courteous and the food met expectations.

Came looking for the fabled French McDonald's experience, and I was NOT disappointed! Burger and nuggets were delivered to the well-decorated upstairs only 3min after I ordered.

Extremely slow service! I waited for more than 25minutes just to get my meal. This is far from the quick service I expect from McDonald's. If you are in a hurry, I would suggest going elsewhere. Very frustrating experience.
Evusnik★★★☆☆
Food was a bit tasteless and served in plastic containers which is a bit unappealing. Staff were efficient and friendly. You can order in person or via computer system, there is table service which seems to be the only option (to my knowledge). The view from upstairs is very nice. Toilets aren’t free and cost 1€, even if you order food.

Prettiest McDonald’s I’ve seen! The exterior really gives off a Parisian vibe. It gets packed around noon, but there’s additional seating upstairs — and the view from up there is great! The food was better than expected, though the cinnamon roll was a bit dry.

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars)
We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot.
The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order.
The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table!
The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned.
Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind.
That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money.

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip.
The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed.
We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered.
One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us.
Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

Great experience with a view! This Burger King branch looks amazing with its large windows facing the park.
The food was fresh and hot - perfect for a takeaway picnic in the park.
One small issue: our order was taken by mistake by another customer, and because the staff didn't speak English, it took a while to get it sorted out and get a fresh meal.
Still, a very positive experience overall.

First place to eat in Paris this trip. Wanted something easy and under 10€pp. Order is only in French so brush up if English only speaking. I ad a wrap and my daughter had the mozzarella sticks. Delicious and easy to grab and take to the gardens. Only a few spots to eat inside the restaurant.

The find of our trip. We walked in close to midnight after a full evening at the Eiffel Tower, expecting nothing special — and left talking about how good it was.
I ordered the Triple X Burger combo for 10 euros and it was perfect: properly cooked, genuinely flavorful, and a huge portion for the price. Eating well in Paris and walking out full for 10 euros is rare. Here it happened.
The place is simple but welcoming, and the guy working the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful.
If you're staying near Gare d'Austerlitz and want a great meal without spending much, this is the spot. 10/10. Would come back without hesitating.

The tacos was good. Tasty crousty was so so, too much sauce I'd say.
Carlos Torres★★★★☆
So, as an American, I will say this is not a taco. That said, it says French tacos, which just means that it is meat and cheese and starch wrapped in a tortilla, pressed hot, and handheld while eating it.
If you aren't expecting a taco and take it at fave value though, it's really pretty decent! Ample meat, nice cheddar sauce, quick service, not spicy (but you don't come to France for spicy, you know), and warms up well the next day. One of few easy to go foods other than a kebab.

I visited Chez Nico’s with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in every category. Despite being the only customer in the restaurant, the service was incredibly slow and lacked any sense of hospitality. When my crepe finally arrived, the cheese was barely melted, and the dish itself felt overly greasy and heavy. Most uncomfortably, I felt a distinct coldness as a foreigner that made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. For authentic crepes and a pleasant environment, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

I think French people must have something against the McDonald's brand after visiting this branch.
We waited 30 minutes to collect our order. The Spider-Man Happy Meal figure and the box were missing, and they only provided them after I pointed it out.
The cheese and bacon fries were only about one-third of the portion size you would receive in the UK or Slovakia. Every item of food was cold. They also refused to provide a straw for a Fanta with ice. When I asked, the staff member rudely replied, "You only get a straw for a boba drink, not for Fanta," then simply walked away.
The fries had no salt whatsoever.
One of the worst McDonald's experiences I've had. Just avoid this place.
Toilets token system. But don't really need that. You que 30 minutes to toiltet too, than person who's been before you leave it open for you (if they mentally ok, some of them shut door for fun) There is one toilet per gender.

Typical McDonald's. Kinda tasteful food that fills you at a decent price. Only ordering from kiosks kills any interaction with the service personelle. The wait time to get to the kiosks was longer than getting the food. Not a bad place to stop for a quick bite.

One star only to write a comment. I have a back injury, and the black security guard at this branch was extremely rude and disrespectful. He refused to let me sit while I was waiting for my order and started shouting at me and other customers.
I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior from staff. I will not be coming back to this branch again. I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously and addresses the situation.

It is impossibly impractical and totally unexpected to encounter such rude McDonald’s staff and management on such a consistent basis ! Is it Paris?
I ate way too many hamburgers and ‘chicken ‘ nuggets last night at this 119 Rue St Lazare McDonald’s.
But I like McDonald’s so I found myself here again this morning dying of thirst and with an impeachment of a headache brewing like the McCafe I just bought a few moments earlier at the Gare St Lazare location ( vastly improved since I suggested they spruce up the place)
But at first I was told that I could not have a glass of water with a little ice .. I defeated this folly of a statement from the cashier .. ( hey i order drinks and usually take no ice .. so my ice credit surplus must be in the thousands of cubes )
I wolfed downed this small glass of icy life savers waters … but in my ignorant folly I asked for some more water ( Oliver Twist style) … “please Madamme can I have some more water , I ate too many burgers and ‘ chicken ‘ nuggets “
To my agastment ( yes ) … I was told by the manager that I am allowed only 1 glass of water ( sans glaçons) .. my headache laughed and I was silently crying and cringing at the same instant..
as these nuggets and burgers drew the liquids from my nether regions , I decided not to argue nor to go drink from the toilettes.. ( I still have in my pockets the 3 toilets access tokens from our purchases yesterday night )
PLEASE MCDONALDS MANAGER. …causing a paying loyal customer to flee is not cool !
Please review your 1 glass of water per customer policy !
Now my Taiwanese colleagues ( yes those same one who manufacture your microchips think they are to blame because according to them
, nobody in France likes people from Taiwan … so they refuse to ever visit another McDonald’s ever again ( nerds do not get out much )
Anyhow I took my gruel bowl ( empty water cup ) to the reservation only seafood restaurant next door .. and they gladly invited me in and gave me water and mints .
They were surprised that McDonald’s did not have enough water !
Anyhow I will post some images of the restaurant MOLLARD that saved my life !
Come on McDonalds 119 rue st lazare 75008 . Teach your coworkers and employees common decency . Do not ration water to a Mc Nugget over eater !
Thumbs down ! BOOOOOOO!

I have never heard the Quick chain until I came to France. And if you haven't been there, you do not need to bother. Quick feels like the French or European version of BurgerKing (being the secondary brand) giving Whopper vibes. At least, Whoppers are char-grilled and definitely taste different than McDonalds, in a good way.
Well not at Quick. Quick serves cardboard meat burgers that after a single bite, my kids could not proceed through. They look fabulous on the walls and advertisements but absolutely disastrous in terms of taste and quality of the food.
Only giving it 2 stars because the interior was really clean and well air-conditioned.
I hear that Burger King is actually taking over Quick. I'm not surprised.

My burger had a fried fly as a free gift! 🪰And the best part is the staff won't even admit there's a problem, instead they claim it's "impossible". Well you be the judge of that. They gave me a new burger free of charge, and the cashier was very nice so 2/5

Just bought an XL Super Classique burger with Grand Frites for takeout. I have to say that it was not a good burger. The burger is dry, and squashed, and the fries are dry & tasteless. To add insult to injury, even though there are 3 girls making up the order, I got a standard Coke instead of a Cherry Coke like I ordered, I asked without ice, but it came with ice, and there was no ketchup or basliic ketchup that was supposed to come with the order. Very disappointing considering it’s not very busy. Wait until next week with all the Olympics visitors, this restaurant will struggle. Maybe I should try McDonalds or 5 Guys next time.

I didn’t have much time in Paris to try different crepes for comparison, but I found this one to be really good — and the portion was big!
Chilean Tourist 🙋🏽♀️We went on a Tuesday at 2 PM, and the place was full. There was a short line, but we only waited about ten minutes to get a table.
📍The Venue:
The place has the feel of a traditional French café — cute and on the smaller side. All the seating is indoors, mostly tables for two. You can definitely go with a group, but you might have to wait a bit longer for a larger table.
🥞What we ordered:
Nutella, Strawberry & Banana Crêpe: The batter was thicker than other crêpes I’ve had before, but it was delicious and not overly sweet. We added a scoop of ice cream, which was a nice touch!
They also offer a free jar of water, which is always appreciated.
🧑🍳The Service:
The staff was really friendly, and our order came out quickly.
🅿️Parking:
As far as I know, they don’t have dedicated parking.

Great experience at La Crème de Paris Notre-Dame. I came back because I remembered how nice it was to sit here with a view of Notre-Dame, and it was just as enjoyable this time. I’ll definitely come back again on another visit.

Although the place is near a very touristy spot, the prices are reasonable, except for the smoothy which seemed a bit expensive.
The sweet banana Nutella crêpe was nice, but the pastromy galette was just ok. Nice latte.

Navigating the dining scene near a major tourist attraction can be tricky, as quality and value can vary significantly from street to street. To ensure you have the best possible experience, it is wise to keep a few local customs and practical strategies in mind before you order.
Avoid Peak Lunch Rushes
The restaurants immediately facing the cathedral and on the main pedestrian streets get incredibly crowded between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. If you want to avoid long lines and difficulty finding a seat, try to eat an early lunch around 11:30 AM or a late lunch after 2:00 PM.
Look for the "Formule" Deals
Many fast food spots and bakeries in France offer a "formule" or set menu deal. This usually includes a main item, a side, and a drink for a discounted price. Always check the boards above the counter for these combos, as they offer significantly better value than ordering items individually.
Embrace the French Bakery Option
While you might be craving a burger, do not overlook the traditional "boulangerie" as a fast food alternative. A fresh baguette sandwich (like jambon-beurre or chicken crudités) is often cheaper, faster, and arguably more authentic than an American chain meal. It is the original French fast food.
Check for Seating Before You Order
Many fast food spots in the historic center of Paris are quite small and designed primarily for takeaway. Before you commit to a large order, glance inside or upstairs to see if there is available seating. If not, plan to take your food to the riverbanks for a scenic picnic.
Be Prepared for Parisian Pricing
Due to the prime real estate, prices near Notre-Dame are often slightly higher than in other neighborhoods. Expect to pay a small premium for the convenience of eating steps away from a world-famous monument. The view of the Seine while you eat is often worth the extra euro.
Watch Your Belongings
While enjoying your meal, especially if sitting outdoors or on a busy terrace, keep your phone and wallet secure. Tourist-heavy areas are prime spots for pickpockets, and it is easy to get distracted by the sights while holding a tray of food.
Once you have finished your meal, you are perfectly positioned to continue your Parisian adventure. Whether you are heading to the Shakespeare and Company bookstore across the river or walking toward the Marais district, you will have the energy needed for the journey.
A quick meal near the cathedral does not have to be a bland experience. By choosing the right spot from our list and following these local tips, you can eat efficiently and get right back to enjoying the magic of Paris.
