Staying near the Royal Alcázar of Seville places you in the vibrant heart of the historic Santa Cruz quarter. It is the perfect base for exploring the city’s most atmospheric streets, tapas bars, and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Rather than wasting time on public transport, you can simply step out of your door and into centuries of history.
Choosing the right accommodation in this area, however, requires a careful balance between charm and modern comfort. The narrow, winding streets often mean limited vehicle access, which can be a challenge for those arriving by car. Conversely, the aesthetic reward of sleeping within converted palaces and traditional Andalusian houses is unparalleled.
This guide focuses on the best hotels situated within a short, comfortable walking distance of the Alcázar’s iconic Lion Gate. We have prioritized properties that offer exceptional service, authentic local character, and high-quality amenities. Whether you are seeking a romantic getaway or a luxurious family trip, there is an option here to suit your needs.
We understand that modern travelers value seamless logistics as much as beautiful architecture. Therefore, we have noted properties that offer conveniences such as 24-hour reception, luggage storage, and proximity to taxi stands. This ensures your visit to the palace and the nearby Cathedral is as stress-free as possible.
The following selection includes a range of budgets, from opulent five-star palaces to stylish boutique guesthouses. We have evaluated each property based on guest reviews, location accuracy, and the overall value they provide. You can trust that every recommendation here meets a high standard of hospitality.
Seville is a city best experienced on foot, and these hotels allow you to do exactly that. Imagine waking up early to beat the crowds at the Alcázar, returning for a siesta in the afternoon heat, and then stepping out for evening flamenco. This proximity turns a simple hotel stay into an immersive cultural experience.
Below, you will find our curated list of the top twelve places to stay near this magnificent royal palace. Each entry has been selected for its unique ability to enhance your visit to Seville.

Haven't stayed here yet. Will do in a couple of weeks. But I know John Fulton was a dear friend of mine, so I KNOW it's an awesome place. Have been here MANY MANY times during the 80's and 90's when it was his art studio. Can't wait to stay there.

Nice small basic room at modest price. Great location! Staff very helpful, comfortable speaking English. Great view from rooftop breakfast location.

Due to a technical issue with booking app, a double reservation for different hotels was made. This is not the hotel's fault of course, but as soon as we reached out to them to explain what happened, they declined refunding the money. This was a reservation made on midnight for the following day as in there was less than a few hours between making the reservation, and letting them know of the error. They of course didn't care and absolutely declined to refund it.
It's a really bad indication when a hotel chooses to treat errors as an opportunity to grab money...and really for a one night stay booked at the last minute. It's not like the hotel had to decline so many other potential guests.
What a shame. I could have chosen this hotel when I return to Seville for a longer stay, had they been more courtieus and decent!

Lovely hotel & very accommodating staff. Special thanks to Carlos ☺️. Best part is the terrace with stunning views of the cathedral ⛪. Will definitely be back here when I visit Seville 🇪🇸

It was an unforgettable experience for me. Definitely not every hotel can give back this feeling. Opening the balcony door to the morning dew that comes in from the orange tree right in front of the balcony. Simply magical

You cannot beat the location of this hotel. Everything you would want to visit in Seville is no more than a 15 minute walk away. It is tucked away in a small beautiful plaza filled with orange trees. Perfect access to the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar make it a great vacation spot. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This was a great addition for the honeymoon!

What an outstanding stay here. The hotel is beautiful, perfect place, the park outside is stunning.
The roof terrace was amazing in our suite and on top.
The food was absolutely amazing. Best from all is the whole team! Everyone is super nice and helpful. Thank u so much for making our stay that perfect. We'll come back as soon as possible

Nice little hotel overlooking a beautiful
plaza. Staff were nice. One negative is No mini refrigerator in room. Another, Not the hotels fault but too many tour groups constantly filling plaza and are annoying. The city of Seville needs to regulate better. At one time there were four different groups in the plaza at the same time surrounding us while trying to enjoy a morning coffee. Still we enjoyed our stay and excellent location.

Apartamento Boutique Vida was a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Seville. The apartment was comfortable and ideally located within walking distance of many of the city's top attractions, excellent restaurants, and shopping areas.
Alejandro was a pleasure to work with throughout our stay. He was always accessible, quick to respond to any questions or requests, and consistently courteous and professional.
Guests should note that communications and check-in assistance are handled through the staff at the Halo Hotel, located just a minute's walk from the apartment. The hotel staff were equally friendly, helpful, and attentive, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
If you're planning a visit to Seville, I highly recommend considering Apartamento Boutique Vida. Its central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the city and immersing yourself in Seville's rich culture, history, and vibrant atmosphere.

A really lovely, friendly hotel. We loved the peaceful square outside, with shady orange trees in flower. The hotel is small and very personal, the staff are very helpful and friendly. Everything is close by and easy to walk to. I loved our room - it was on a corner with two windows and a tiny balcony. There were considerate little touches: a double adaptor in the power point by the bed, with an outlet free for your phone, a little stool in the bathroom, wifi password provided without asking.

This Hotel Alcazar is in the perfect location in Sevilla. It is right across the street from the Alcazar gardens and just a few blocks from the old city center where everything is in walking distance. We had the most incredible view of the Seville Cathedral and Tower from our room. It was gorgeous at night with all the lights.
The room was comfortable, modern and clean. It was easy to regulate the temperature as the window opened and the air conditioning was efficient. The bathroom was small, but modern and clean. I especially appreciated the extending magnified make-up mirror. The beds were a little firm, so not as comfortable as we would expect. That was the only negative.
They have a beautiful rooftop bar, tapas, and swimming pool, which was a surprise. They also have underground paid parking around the corner, but parking a mid-size SUV was a little bit of a challenge. Be prepared to have one person spotting the driver around the concrete columns and tight turns.
Overall, we really enjoyed out stay. You couldn't find a hotel with a better location!
Priscilla Walker★★★★★
This hotel was perfect for our Sevilla trip. The location is great for spots like Plaza de España and of course Alcazar and a short walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and shops.
The pool has the best view of the city and the staff at the bar was really helpful.
We were 3 adults in the room with the pullout sofa couch and it was very spacious.
I want to especially thank Anna and Pablo at the front desk for an easy check-in and great recommendations for bars and restaurants.
Anita Barna★★★★★
Very good location, almost every sights and bus stop to the airport are available in a few minutes walk. The room was cosy, clean, silent and well-equipped. On the rooftop there is a beautiful view to the Giralda and the city. Staff was helpful, I was statisfied with everything.
In my opinion, the breakfeast could be better.
Laurenz R.★★☆☆☆
At arrival the staff tried to sell us a room with view over the park for a premium price. After we gratefully rejected and chose to take the normal room with „courtyard view“ we recieved the room pictured below.
After going back to the reception and requesting our money back the employees mood changed and we were met with unprofessional comments about our expectations. The room pictured below was 100€ room per night by the way. It is apparently how young people are being treated here at this hotel.
In the end we got our money back and the hotel is situated quite nice, but for this service 2 stars is already being generous.

the BESTTT hotel in seville! i thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
the staff is super attentive & nice, the room is very clean & not to mention the beautiful rooftop view with the lovely pool.
i booked this on a whim from booking.com & honestly so glad i did because the location is perfect as it is super close to many attractions like alcazar & plaza de espana!
also super safe for a solo female traveler.

Had a wonderful stay at Halo Boutique Hotel Sevilla. The location is excellent, the room was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful and relaxing.
A special thanks to Joaquín Rodón, who was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout the stay. He made the experience much more welcoming and enjoyable. His hospitality and attention to guests truly stand out.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seville, and I would be happy to stay here again in the future. 5/5.

Overall, good experience. We had some issues with our shower leaking water all over the floor in our bathroom, so if you stay in Rm 207 please beware that could happen; otherwise the room was great (see pic). The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming, and the location was first class. It's right in the heart of the Santa Cruz district with that old Spanish flair and a beautiful courtyard right outside it's entrance (see pic). If you go, have breakfast right around the corner to your left as you exit at the courtyard restaurant. Tell Derek (pictured and one of the owners) I say hello.

A hidden gem in Seville. Cozy, stylish, perfectly located, and with some of the warmest hospitality we’ve experienced. Victoria and Alejandro went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We loved being able to walk everywhere and having convenient parking nearby. Would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic Hotel in a great location!
Joaquín was incredibly helpful and welcoming during our stay with recommendations from somewhere to watch the football, to places for breakfast and helping us find a gym to visit.
Hotel was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and were able to sort our transfer out form the airport for us, they were very responsive too.
Location was right in heart of the old town about 3 minutes walk from the Real Alcázar and Cathedral, building was a haven to retreat to in the hot July summer, with air con and pool on the roof to take a break in the afternoon.

My partner and I had an excellent stay in the hotel for our holiday. Great views from the room and the roof top terrace. Friendly staff!
And most importantly, super convenient location for all the tourist attractions, plus the old town vibe.
Only small caveat is people can talk quite loudly on the streets so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Location is great just beside cathedral and palace and many restaurants and tapas bar! Our room is in decent size, has a nice little balcony with good views.
Price is so good at off season. But have to notice the front desk working hours is only till 3or 4pm .
If you arrive after that you should inform them in advance.

The entire draw for this hotel is location, which is fantastic
The rooms are basic, ours did not have any decoration on the wall, closets etc and no view
The bed was not comfortable. We did not sleep well.
It was very clean and room service did a great job every day.
There is a public space balcony on the fourth floor which is pleasant and has a limited view
They have a breakfast lounge with free tea and coffee in the morning

Honestly for the price and for 1 or 2 nights this hotel is totally efficient. The rooms aren’t amazing because there are no windows but apart from that I couldn’t complain because the price. Rooms were clean, rooftop balcony was a nice touch and free coffee.. the service was friendly and helpful. Location is as good as it gets.. there is no tv or fridge but like I said for the price can’t really complain! Top for a quick night in Sevilla 🇪🇸

This small hotel is in the most amazing location right near the Alcázar. The staff were friendly and stored our bags after check out. The hotel is only staffed until 7.30pm at night. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Definitely recommend as was a great price too!

On the photo you may see which room we booked (photo from the booking site) and the real photo of the room. A guy on the reception told us that the hotel is full and he can't change the room.
Since there is no window, there is no oxygen in the room. You may use air conditioner, but it will blow right on the beds, which is not good. Extremely noisy.
Be careful with your booking here.
No slippers, no toothpaste. Not that clean sheet (photo).
Yes, location is perfect.

We loved this hotel! It's in a perfect location, walkable to basically anything you need. The room was clean and the front desk staff were very nice. There are free snacks, coffee, water in the lobby daily. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony, however there is definitely a lot of noise from the street late at night and very early in the morning. Wasn't too much of a bother though, I'd stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay, ideally located 10 mins from the Alcazar and the Cathedral, room with balcony nicely finished and very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very well kept. Clean and comfortable rooms, designed like classical Andalusian houses, location is perfect, close to Alcazar palace and the view of the rooms and the rooftop is really nice. This was probably our favorite hotel in our 2 week travel of Spain and Portugal. The location is perfect for seeing all the sites in Sevilla. The courtyard is relaxing and welcoming. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but we got frustrated and left because of the server behind the bar. That is not relevant to the hotel, instead is a poor reflection on the restaurant.
Highly recommend this hotel!

One of the highlights of a little mini european trip. Beautifully decorated boutique hotel located in the heart of the Santa Cruz district. Very walkable to main sites with plenty bars/ restaurants nearby.
Room clean and comfortable.
Hotel restaurant and breakfast was fantastic.
The two main highlights for me was the level of services offered. Services ranged from bathroom amenities, calling taxi, wake up call, complimentary drinks, rooftop hot tub, organising free walking tour with white umbrella company and more which you can find in a lovely book describing history and everything it has to offer on your bedroom table.
But the best highlight for me is the friendliest of the staff and the personal touch you experience from the receptionist showing you to your room , setting up hot tub and the receptionist sitting and chatting to you while you wait for an early morning taxi to the airport.
Highly recommended and would definitely come back.

Very nice and cozy hotel, very well located in the heart of Santa-Cruz. It offers many things for the price, a large and nice room, and luxury service. It also has a beautiful and quiet patio. I also very much recommend the breakfast buffet, which has a lot of variety and is really good quality.

We took a long time to decide between this hotel and another. In the end what made the difference was the service and of course the character of the place. Staff are some of the best you'd ever meet. My huge thanks and many hugs to Aziz who was a hero. The building is historic so there are some noise that could cross rooms but not if your neighbours are nice. Our first night neighbours weren't! Breakfast is extremely generous and Carmen is lovely as she takes care of everything and everyone. Some of the strongest confess I've ever had! Gave us energy for the whole day. Location cannot be better. Bang in the middle of everything but quiet. Ask for a room facing the patio. It's gorgeous. We will be back.

We chose this spot due to its proximity to lot of attractions. It is also in a more quiet street away from the tourist crowds. The hotel room is very clean and more modern while having a bit more of Spanish cottage-core vibe to it. Staff is friendly. They held our bags for us since we arrived earlier than check-in time. There aren’t many rooms in this small hotel so you won’t have to worry much about other guests. I will say the walls are somewhat thin. We could hear our neighboring guests and their…nightly activities.
The breakfast food is alright. It is served in the neighboring Halo hotel and the staff does check to make sure only registered guests enter. There is a variety of food & it gets the job done but I prefer restaurant food.
The views from the rooftop terrace are wonderful. You can see the cathedral and Giralda from there.
Elise Cittadini★★★★★
Love this hotel! In a fantastic part of the old city. The rooms was very spacious and clean. As a single female travelling I felt very safe with the locked security door downstairs. It felt like a Serene compound. The reception desk were very helpful. Booking me a free walking tour of the city. Will absolutely be staying here again. Extra points for the staff using WhatsApp to contact guests, especially given so many people use esims for travel.
Nina★★★★★
Absolutely loved my stay at this gem of a hotel! Alejandro was incredibly accommodating from start to finish, making me feel right at home. The entire staff was kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming—true hospitality at its best. The rooms were spotless and modern, perfectly blending comfort with style. Although the rooms are on the smaller side (which is totally normal for Old Town), they come with AC and I highly recommend booking a balcony room for that extra charm.
Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for more—just a short stroll to all the major attractions and monuments. Plus, taxi pick-up and drop-off points are less than a 2-minute walk away, making exploring super convenient. One standout moment was when the hotel surprised me with a beautiful floral arrangement and champagne, sent as a gift from my significant other. That thoughtful touch went way beyond my expectations!
To top it all off, the rooftop access offers stunning views and a peaceful spot to unwind after a busy day. Quiet, comfortable, and perfectly situated, this hotel is an absolute must. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to come back!
Jannur Chess★★★★★
Joaquín was very welcoming, and the service was excellent. I booked one night at first but ended up extending my stay for two more because everything exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again. The location is ideal, just steps from the Cathedral and the Alcázar.

Perfect location, exquisite environment, beautiful space and excellent service. This boutique hotel is in walkable distance to many places of interest. I highly recommend giving this boutique hotel a try.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel in an amazing location. The main problem with this place is the staff. The redhead gentlemen was very helpful and kind. The restaurant staff need to be replaced. The younger gentlemen is very rude. We sat and witnessed him and a young lady waitress get into an argument in front of everyone. Not professional. When we asked her where we could sit, she told us anywhere we'd like. So we sat in the main room. Then the young fella came over and told us we had to move to the side room cause those tables were reserved for 4 people. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant.
The location is perfectly placed in the middle of everything tourists wish to visit. The rooms were quaint and sufficed.

This must surely be one of Europe's finest old Grand Hotels. It has a fascinating history and a fabulous interior.
We went for lunch and sat at first outside in the central courtyard which is open air and very well shaded.
Our lunch was served inside because it was cooler.
The hotel has a very cool and calm atmosphere, the perfect escape from a hot and busy city and if you like Grand old hotels then this is the perfect place to spend an hour or two and have lunch and experience some superb service.
It's lovely.

Hotel Alfonso XIII is everything you would hope a true five-star Luxury Collection hotel would be.
From the moment we arrived until our departure, the level of hospitality was exceptional. Every interaction with the team was warm, genuine, professional, and attentive. It is evident that customer service is a priority throughout the hotel, and every member of the staff contributed to making our stay memorable.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The historic architecture is beautifully maintained, the public spaces are immaculate, and the overall condition of the property reflects the standards expected of an iconic luxury hotel.
Our room was elegant, impeccably maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed provided one of the best nights of sleep we have had while traveling, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring Seville.
The location simply could not be better. Nearly all of Seville's most iconic attractions are within easy walking distance, making it an ideal base for experiencing the city.
I also want to recognize the management team for their outstanding communication before our arrival. Their professionalism and genuine commitment to ensuring a wonderful experience gave us confidence before we even checked in, and they delivered on every promise.
Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday celebration so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would gladly return on our next visit to Seville.
Anna S★☆☆☆☆
The hotel itself is beautiful and definitely looks worthy of its 5-star rating. The rooms and overall appearance are impressive, and the breakfast offers a good selection of tasty food.
Unfortunately, there were several issues that made our stay disappointing. The breakfast area is not very cozy, and every morning there was a long queue to get seated, which is not what you would expect from a luxury hotel.
The biggest disappointment was the service. For a 5-star hotel, it was well below expectations. There was only one friendly lady at check-in; most of the other staff members came across as arrogant and unfriendly. I don’t expect staff to be overly cheerful, but a simple smile and a welcoming attitude would make guests feel much more appreciated.
What upset us most was that the housekeeping team apparently lost my daughter’s teddy bear, worth approximately €150. We were repeatedly told that they would look for it, but nothing seemed to happen. I had to return to the reception desk three separate times, each time waiting a long time for assistance. Eventually, I asked for a solution, but since then the hotel has completely stopped responding. They do not reply to emails and have provided no update whatsoever.
It is very disappointing because the hotel has great facilities and looks stunning, but good service is what truly makes a hotel experience. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, personal, and guest-focused stay.
Leila Dablan★★★★★
Hotel Alfonso XIII was absolutely beautiful and truly a five-star experience. The architecture, décor, and atmosphere are breathtaking, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive.
We also visited the boutique inside the hotel and purchased a gorgeous watch, which made our experience even more memorable. The boutique had beautiful pieces and was a wonderful addition to our visit.
Everything about Hotel Alfonso XIII feels elegant, luxurious, and special. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Seville and a place we would highly recommend!

This hotel offers an ideal balance of convenience and tranquility. It is exceptionally well-located, putting everything within easy reach, yet it remains wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The location was incredible and made exploring Sevilla so easy. The staff really made the hotel shine. Each concierge we met could not have been nicer and more helpful. Thank you very much for making our visit so enjoyable!

I cannot say enough good things about Legado Alcàzar. The location was perfect for being in the center of everything in Sevilla. We stayed there twice to bookend our trip to Spain. Both rooms were FAR above our expectations, worth every penny we paid. Roominess, cleanliness, atmosphere, originality, just perfect. The atmosphere was high end while still being very comfortable. Such a beautifully restored building. All hotels we ever stay at will be compared to this one. I mean, if I can't see peacocks from my outdoor bathtub on my balcony, well, it's not good enough. The breakfasts were worth leaving the beautiful room for—a fantastic variety of fresh choices. The staff was exceptional; they all went above and beyond to make sure everything was always perfect. Very friendly and fun! We will be back!
Chris Anaya★★★★★
What an amazing Hotel and staff. The hotel gives you a very intimate, comfortable, and peaceful environment while supported by a very friendly and helpful staff. We saw so much more of the city based on their suggestions and advice. Oh and don't forget their amazing breakfast, and I'm not a porridge kind of guy but at his recommendation, we fell in love. Overall great experience and thank you to the staff of Legado Alcazar Hotel
Jason Lampel★★★★★
I think we met about four different staff members at the front desk during our 3-night stay and they were all super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, and the afternoon tea/coffee hour was nice. The hotel itself is in an old building with tons of character, the rooms and entire place were very clean, and the view of the Alcazar grounds from our terrace room was peaceful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place!

Hello Alejandro, you place is beautiful and well maintained. The location; behind El Real Alcázar, placed us in the middle of the Sevilla history and walking just a few steps from the hotel the cathedral said good morning to me every day. It was a wonderful time.

The apartment is centrally located, every major sites are in walking distance. The room is clean and quite big. The only negative is that the wall is quite thin and you can hear everything from outside and other rooms. Overall, I enjoyed my stay

Cockroaches and poor cleaning conditions, without taking any responsibility. Worse service ever. I’ll just leave you the pictures…

We loved our stay! Perfect stay for a couple of lovebirds, family with small kids, or four good friends backpacking. The five star rating includes excellent front desk service, good value for my money, housekeeping, functioning appliances and internet, and a relaxing Spanish experience.
First, front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with answering any questions. Second, the apartment was ridiculously affordable (during the off season). We stayed in their sister hotel room the night before and paid about the same (not sure why) especially since the apartment has a kitchenette, terrace, and two bathrooms. The apartment is not what most people would consider five star luxury, but from my experience, after staying in several hotel rooms on my trip, this apartment was a nice change especially since I felt I was getting a glimpse of the daily life in Sevilla.
My husband and I stayed in apartment suite #3 for 4 days. We arrived to Sevilla in the cold winter season of January to a clean and organized apartment with plenty of towels, mini shampoo, bath gel and lotion, good wifi service, and functioning thermostat that warmed up our room nicely and made for a good night sleep. The kitchenette has a couple of wine glasses, dishes, mugs, small pans, forks, spoons, butter knife, a mini fridge and a coffee press. The apartment has a terrace with a view of the Cathedral and the neighboring apartments/hotels. We enjoyed the terrace so much it was easy to envision spending time here in the summer sipping wine or beer, eating tapas, and passing time with good friends. In the living room space, the couch provided that ease to plop down after a long day of sightseeing and catch up on some online reading. The queen size bed and sheets were clean and allowed me to sleep comfortably for three days, but not for four days. In addition to our bed, there were two twin beds in the apartment that looked comfortable for two kids/teens to sleep in. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily (if we wanted room serviced) but we opted out.
We would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights, from the 19-22nd September. It was a perfect base to visit Seville. Close to all the main sights. One issue was that we paid for a deluxe room and requested a double bed and a balcony. Unfortunately neither were provided. The apartments also weren't serviced whilst we were there meaning that we ran out of toilet paper at the end. Finally no wifi code was provided at all. Minor issues, that could have been easily resolved.
Insider Tips for Choosing Your Stay Near the Alcázar
Selecting the perfect hotel in a historic district requires a bit of local knowledge. The area around the monument is a maze of pedestrian streets, which impacts how you should plan your arrival and daily activities. By following a few practical guidelines, you can avoid common logistical headaches and focus entirely on enjoying the beauty of Seville.
Plan Your Arrival Strategy: If you are driving, contact the hotel before you arrive to ask for the exact GPS coordinates for the nearest parking garage. Do not attempt to drive directly to the front door of a hotel inside Santa Cruz; many streets are restricted to residents and taxis. Most hotels will offer a valet service or direct you to a secure public lot just outside the restricted zone.
Consider the Noise Factor: Ground-floor rooms facing popular tapas streets can be lively until late at night. While this offers atmosphere, light sleepers should request an interior-facing room or a higher floor. Modern hotels often have double-glazed windows, but in a converted historic building, soundproofing can vary significantly.
Check for Rooftop Access: The heat in Seville is intense, and a hotel with a plunge pool or a rooftop terrace is worth the extra cost. After a morning walking through the Alcázar gardens, having a cool retreat to return to is invaluable. Verify if the pool is seasonal, as many outdoor pools in Seville are only open from Easter to October.
Verify Accessibility Needs: Historic buildings often have steep, narrow staircases and may lack elevators due to preservation laws. If you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, confirm that the hotel has a lift. Additionally, ask about the distance from the taxi drop-off point to the hotel entrance, as cars may not be able to stop directly outside.
Book Tickets in Advance: Staying near the Alcázar does not guarantee immediate entry. You must still book your timed entry slots online well in advance of your trip. Ask your hotel concierge for advice on the best times to visit; they often know when the tour groups are scheduled to arrive and can suggest quieter periods.
Choosing to stay near the Royal Alcázar transforms your visit from a simple sightseeing trip into a deep dive into Andalusian culture. The convenience of having your room just steps away allows you to experience the neighborhood when the day-trippers have gone home. You get to see the quiet plazas in the early morning and the lantern-lit alleys at night.
We hope this guide helps you find the perfect sanctuary for your stay in Seville. With the right hotel as your base, you will be perfectly positioned to unlock all the magic that this enchanting city has to offer.
