I am extremely disappointed by my experience at this hotel, particularly due to my interactions with an employee named Felicite De Viel Castel. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome and poorly treated by her. my stay, Felicite’s demeanor was consistently cold and dismissive. Simple requests were met with very little warmth nor courtesy, and I repeatedly felt as though I was being treated as an inconvenience rather than a valued guest. What should have been a relaxing stay at a five-star palace hotel became a source of unnecessary frustration. The level of hospitality I experienced from this employee was entirely inconsistent with the standards one would expect from a property of this calibre. Her attitude and lack of professionalism left a lasting negative impression and significantly affected my overall experience. The most disappointing aspect is that a single staff member was able to negatively impact what was otherwise a beautiful property. Regardless of how impressive the facilities may be, exceptional hospitality ultimately depends on the people representing the hotel. My family has been staying at this hotel for decades and has always considered it our preferred address in Paris. It is therefore particularly disappointing that the conduct of a single employee has left us questioning whether we should continue staying here in the future. We are now considering alternative palace hotels in Paris, something we never previously imagined doing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, investigates the matter thoroughly, and ensures that future guests do not have a similar experience.

A wonderful experience – Highly recommend! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The check-in process was smooth and fast. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable.Everything was perfectly clean, and the housekeeping team did an amazing job every day. The hotel’s location is excellent for sightseeing. We also loved the breakfast, which featured fresh and delicious options. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next trip!

I’m honestly very disappointed with the overall experience. The staff’s attitude is extremely arrogant and unwelcoming — they never greet you, not even a simple “hello,” which already creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere. What’s even more surprising is that they don’t assist guests in the most basic ways, like opening doors. It feels cold, dismissive, and completely lacking in hospitality. The breakfast was equally disappointing. The selection is shockingly limited — only three or four items to choose from, with no variety at all. There are no additional options, no flexibility, and nothing that meets even basic expectations for a decent breakfast. On top of that, the service during breakfast is extremely poor. No one ever comes to your table — you’re left sitting there and practically have to beg for attention. You end up having to constantly raise your hand just to order anything, and even then it feels like the staff simply doesn’t care at all. Overall, the experience feels neglectful and far from professional. Definitely not what I was expecting.

We booked a table for breakfast at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, and from the moment we walked in, the sheer elegance of the venue left us completely speechless. The service was absolutely flawless; the staff made us feel incredibly pampered and taken care of throughout our entire time there. As for the food, the menu offers a wonderful variety of options, and the omelets we ordered were nothing short of superb, perfectly executed and delicious. If you want to experience a breakfast or brunch with a true touch of class in Paris, this is an absolute must. Highly, highly recommended!

Amazing hotel. Room was fantastic. Staff members are professional, friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the gestures/details e.g received flowers on arrival for my birthday & they knew we are from the UK, so the adaptors were already in the bedside plugs & small teddy bears for the kids, etc. Thank you

From the moment we arrived at La Maison Champs Elysées, the staff made us feel like the most VIP couple in Paris. Elena warmly welcomed us and generously offered to upgrade our room. Mario carefully handled our bags while making friendly conversation as the team finalized preparations for our stay. When we arrived at our room, Emile had created an unforgettable surprise for us — a bed covered in rose petals, a beautiful dessert plate, and a fruit arrangement in the shape of a heart. To top it all off, we even had a view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. It was the absolute perfect way to celebrate my wife’s birthday and our 14-year anniversary. The flawless service continued throughout our entire stay. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, with plenty of activities within walking distance and very affordable Uber rides to all the major landmarks. I’ve stayed at many amazing properties over the years, but the level of service here made this one of the most special experiences of our lives. We truly cannot thank the staff enough. I hope the hotel recognizes these incredible individuals, and that Marriott Bonvoy recognizes this property for delivering truly exceptional hospitality. We will absolutely be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and family visiting Paris. Thank you again for making our celebration so memorable!

Everything about this hotel feels like a cheap roadside motel trying to pass itself off as luxury. Their own photos are photoshopped to hell - The room is super dark with no overhead or functional light, just cheap white lamps that gave me a headache. The picture shows the actual room - super low ceiling, cracking paint, no light besides cheap lamps that are old and barely functional, not to mention dirty with cables just strewed around. Bathroom is super outdated and light has been flickering from day 1 - told them multiple times but never fixed. Pictures are worth a thousand words - Look at the images and decide for yourself if this is a 5star hotel - it looks like a random rundown motel and this room should cost 150eur max, and they have the audacity to charge 600eur. A reviewer also showed the entrance to the rooms which literally looks like a back alley exit corridor. Everything about this hotel is cheap except the actual price is still 600eur a night (believe it or not the picture shows a deluxe room) - it’s neither stylish nor is it functional. Fake crown molding wallpaper (it’s Paris, real crown molding is literally everywhere) and printed polyester dirty carpets - just tacky cheap decor imitating luxury. This place is falling apart, AC is on its last legs, anywhere you look there is something broken or run down. The owners/ operators can teach a course on shamelessness because I would be mortified to call this hotel 5 stars and this a ‘deluxe room’. Only booked because it was Marriott (but it’s actually only affiliated) and close to an event I was attending, but do yourselves a favor and actually enjoy Paris or at least not stay in a light-less cave - there are so many options and this would rank dead last unless you want to re-enact the experience of being in a horror movie at a wayward motel. This place would make the perfect set for that. For the reviewer saying they would recommend it to their friends - I’m convinced they really hate their friends. Look at the images and see for yourself what you’d be recommending.

This is my third stay at this hotel, and unfortunately it will be my last. The service has been consistently disappointing. The bar ran out of peanuts, and at breakfast they did not have sweet rolls/pastries available because, according to staff, they simply did not purchase them. Making a simple reservation required dealing with four different concierges and correcting three separate mistakes before it was finally handled properly. Overall, the hotel seems poorly organized and lacking attention to detail. In addition, the breakfast waitstaff were not friendly or welcoming at all. Based on these repeated experiences, I will not be returning.

If you travel and stay at this hotel because you have Marriott status this is not the hotel, they don’t care, i am titanium status they would care less, the staff is not friendly or helpful. They insisted i check out at 11 yet my status allows for a late checkout.. the location is nice that’s about it, terrible breakfast choices there is barely anything. The black lady in the restaurant for breakfast is very nice.. will not be back

Elena at the front desk is fantastic. She is knowledgeable and helpful but most importantly, kind and friendly. She noticed my birthday and made it extra special. My daughter and I stayed here for ten days. We were celebrating a “big” birthday. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Hakim. He is the best concierge ever. He was full of suggestions and information. He made sure we were taken care of and I really appreciated him. The breakfasts that are included were not so good. The croissants weren’t worth the calories, we’d go to bakeries and get fresh ones. Breakfast servers were very nice.

Beautiful building, bright , clean and well air conditioned. Both rooms were a bit small but expected size in Paris. It was a decent 8 night stay with plenty to do around the hotel. The hotel bar looked sad but didn’t matter with the beautiful cafe just right down the street. Staff was friendly enough and the stay was comfortable. The breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Room service was also nice. I think the highlight was the beautiful flowers that I had requested before my arrival. Couple minuses… I didn’t feel valued or acknowledged as a diamond member and they didn’t pick me up from the airport as I had requested.

This is a beautiful, spotless hotel located in a very safe area of Paris! We paid extra for transport from airport to hotel and were greeted by concierge on arrival. Only one of our rooms was ready BUT it was several hours before check in time so they were very accommodating to allow us to freshen up in one of our rooms. There are black out curtains on the windows and this was THE QUIETEST CITY HOTEL that I have every stayed in! The hotel is in walking distance to Eiffel Tower (20 min), Les Hotels Invalides historical museums (5 min), La Galerie Dior and Palais Galliera Museum (both about 20 min), and numerous bakeries and restaurants (5-10 minutes). We did not eat at the hotel or use the spa area, but both were available for extra fees. We were surprised that we had to pay for bottled water in the room (five euros for a small Evian bottle). The hotel graciously locked up our luggage when we checked out at 10am to sight see before leaving Paris at 2pm. They also called us a cab for a ride to the car rental agency. The hotel is very good about responding to phone calls and emails and nearly all the staff spoke both French and English. This hotel is pricey but WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The best night manager in Paris! Due to a mix up with keys I was left with nowhere to stay at 12.30am. After calling about 50 hotels and getting (the usual) I’m sorry but we’re full from the night Manager (not wanting to bother with checking in new clients during the night), I called this hotel and was greeting by a man called Mix! What a relief! Welcoming, reassuring and super friendly! Thank you Mix for your help in finding me a super comfortable, clean and welcoming place to stay!

Narcisse hotel review We stayed here exactly one year ago on an unexpected 24 hour visit to Paris. From the photos and the five star rating And the nearly €1000 nightly rate, one would expect this hotel to deliver at the highest level, not just in service but in quality of food and the hotel. We did not find this to be the case. When we arrived, tired from a long flight, we were greeted by an incredibly helpful and attentive concierge named Julian, who arranged some reservations which helped make our short trip in Paris well worth it. Julian was the sole highlight of our stay at this hotel. We booked this room through a credit card partner of the hotel who listed the following benefits: free breakfast, room upgrade when available, and a $100 credit for the property. We chose this hotel because of these benefits, and it’s great reviews. When we arrived we checked in and The front desk was unable to upgrade our room (no big deal) but we saw lots of availability on the website for that night and the next. We asked if they had any rooms with two beds, he said they could not accommodate. The man checking us in just said “too little notice” and brushed it off. We asked what was included in the free breakfast, they said “whatever you like, there is not a limit”which immediately sounded great. We were still excited for a night in the hotel so we let it pass. The room was the smallest hotel room I have stayed in as an adult, shockingly compact for a “5 star” hotel but for the most part well appointed. As soon as we settled in we had multiple issues which made things challenging. The telephone did not work, meaning we had to go downstairs to request anything, a replacement phone was promised before we headed out to dinner and it still wasn’t fixed when we came back many hours later. Also one of the window shades was not working only going halfway down, making it difficult to sleep. In the morning we were excited for the hyped up breakfast in our room, however due to the size of the room we had to sit cross legged on the door of the bed to eat at the little table they brought in. Again no big deal. However, The free breakfast was not actually free as it came out of the $100 credit, and when it did arrive it arrived late completely missing the coffee order and coming with a single pancake which was genuinely inedible, stodgy and drier than any pancake I had tasted. It took another 30 min to get the coffee order. The rest of the breakfast was fine if unremarkable, especially the pastry which tasted more like a day old grocery store croissant than what you would find in any random cafe in paris. Cosmetic issues existed in the room too, peeling paint under the windows, and chips in the dishware. The bed was very comfortable. I’m sure the restaurant is wonderful for dinner or lunch, and sure it’s possible we just got the smallest room and the chef was sick that day, but at this level I shouldn’t have to worry about this stuff. We spent time at several other hotels around paris during our time there and every single one had better service than this one. We will stay at the Penninsula next time.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this hotel that left me feeling humiliated. I stopped by Café Antonia to meet colleagues for coffee before an important professional meeting. While my colleagues were already seated inside the café, I was stopped at the hotel entrance and told that I could not enter without a hotel reservation. It was only after one of my colleagues came outside and personally escorted me in that I was allowed to enter without any further questions. This experience was upsetting because I was clearly visiting the café to meet guests who were already inside. I cannot know the reason for the way I was treated, but the contrast between my experience and that of my colleagues left me wondering whether my appearance, gender, or ethnicity influenced the interaction. As an Indian woman, it is difficult not to ask that question. For a hotel with an international reputation for excellence, I expected a much higher standard of hospitality, professionalism, and inclusiveness. If restricting entry to the café without a hotel reservation is indeed the hotel's policy, it should be communicated clearly and applied consistently to everyone. If it is not standard policy, I hope the management investigates what happened and ensures that no other visitor has a similar experience. Luxury hospitality is not only about beautiful interiors and impeccable service—it is also about making every guest and visitor feel respected, welcome, and treated with dignity. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Very disappointing experience, especially for a hotel positioning itself at this level. This was our first time staying at the hotel, and we arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately left very disappointed. We made a reservation for an Executive room, but encountered a complete lack of flexibility and willingness to find a reasonable solution despite clear circumstances, as the situation was ultimately subject to their discretion. For a hotel of this standing, one would expect a far higher level of responsiveness and consideration. Today, guests value service, overall experience, and a thoughtful, client-oriented approach far more than the room itself, which can be found at a similar standard in many places.

Overall, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful and tasteful hotel in Paris. Professional and adept staff. Exceptionally gorgeous decoration and furnishings throughout the palace. Varied and delightful dining options. Multiple stays and visits over the years lead me to these observations.

No place like Bristol ♥️… Absolutely most luxurious, beautiful and magnificent hotel ever and ever !🗝️ Rooms, lobby , flowers in the hotel , caffè restaurant … all is so so good at Bristol ! Place of my heart forever and ever 🌸

Just be aware of Le Bristol. It is of course a very luxurious hotel with a great lobby and plenty of staff. The rooms are also great. But we experienced quite a few issues with things not working in the room, poor service, issues with a taxi they were meant to book for us. What we found a little frustrating was the response to these issues. The staff, whilst very polite and smiling, did not really go out to put them right. Even when we raised them with the management there was a bit of a shoulder shrug. They need a 'we are going to put this right' attitude, which in our experience they didn't have. Be aware of having breakfast here also. The setting is very grand, but the food is blooming terrible. It is bland - scrambled eggs piled on a plate with absolutely nothing else, for instance. Again, not enough desire to put things right if you raise this. Any reasonable Paris cafe does better. It is very expensive - expect to pay well over 100 euros for breakfast for 2. One other thing - location. If you like high end shops full of very rich people with staff that are only interested in you if you are enormously wealthy, the location is perfect. If you prefer (as we do), lively street cafes, patisseries, great restaurants, the buzz of Paris, then the location is bad - you will need to walk for 20 minutes or further to the Marais or St German to experience this.

Our stay in My Maison was incredible! The location is fantastic - in the beautiful 7th, with shops and restaurants nearby. Short walk to the Rodin museum, slightly longer walk to the Eiffel Tower. Entry was easy with the QR code. The apartment itself was lovely - comfortable beds, a well appointed kitchen, and the most incredible views! We arrived in the midst of a surprise heat wave, so the air conditioning was very appreciated! After venturing out to tour in the heat, we could come back and regroup in the wonderful a/c! (Many places in Europe that say they have air conditioning, it feels weak, but here it was powerful) I was especially delighted by how accessible apartment 62 is. I have mobility issues -using a wheelchair and sometimes a cane- and the place was perfect, including a remarkably accessible shower. One of the most complete instruction manuals I have ever seen in a rental, and delectable pastries on our doorstep every morning. Truly, this apartment is a dream come true!

Centrally located, large space with well equipped kitchen. Lots of amenities close by. Perfect for travel with kids as space to relax after long days sightseeing. We enjoyed the roof terrace and the courtyard area where we ate dinner our first night in the garden. Customer service great. Very attentive and understanding when my son was sick and we needed a linen change. Check in and out easy.

Traveling with family is always tricky to find the right space that' fits everyone's needs. But in this property it meet all our expectations and then some. The location is grea, the rooms are fantastic, the beds super comfortable, the rooftop with a great view of the Eiffel Tower it's fantastic! Definitely will use it again in our future trips.

Lovely studio apartment in a fantastic location. Stayed here for a solo trip on a long weekend and felt completely comfortable. Walkable to many things including the Eiffel Tower, 4 min walk from the La Tour-Marburg metro, and a 2 min walk to the nearest grocery store. The unit came with a kettle, espresso and some coffee pods/sugar. My garden view studio was on the 2nd level and overlooked the interior garden - quiet 95% of the time I was there (except for occasional guests in the courtyard having quiet conversations, or the schoolchildren playing outside at the school next door on a weekday). The rooftop deck has limited open hours (10-6) but has a fantastic view! I’m sure it would be used more if open later for sunsets, etc., but work taking a glass of wine up there and enjoying the view. Space was small but sufficient, clean and well equipped. Bed was quite comfortable. Bathroom was nice, shower was a bit small, and I would recommend bringing a handheld mirror to do your makeup as the bathroom mirror/lighting are not ideal. Air conditioning worked wonderfully - even with 90+ degree temps outside! Access to the building, corridors/lift, and unit were easy for me using the digital code once I got the hang of it. My tips: brightness all the way up, hold phone 2” from scanner making sure the QR code is aligned to the scanner, and hold it there for a few seconds while the red light flashes to scan it. Also - the QR code in the link they give you works much better than if you screenshot the QR code and try to access from your photos! (on iPhone at least). Only feedback to the management: the ground level door from the entry to the corridor stairs/lift is quite loud when closing - I felt bad for the unit with a door right there!
Wayland KAN★★★★☆
We had a 2 bedroom suite with 2.5 bath (one only had a toilet). The rooms were clean with minimalistic design for efficiency. Contact with management is not easiest as most communication was via text messagess or email which may be delayed. On the day we checked out, the schedule called for 11 am but there were cleaning staff waiting outside at 10 am giving us a sense of the urgency that we should check out ASAP. With 3 young children that created a bit of stress. The location of My Maison was perfect. There were local restaurants and convenience stores or small markets within a couple of blocks. We could walk to the Eiffel Tower or other sightseeing places if so desired. In summary, we would consider staying at My Maison again for future visits to Paris.

Pros: Excellent location, interesting, historic building, good decor, good food, mixed service a some people were good & trying hard. Cons: Twice we had to deal with really poor service from the hotel staff - in one memorable (in that I truly will never forget this) the door hostess not only denied us a dinner table upon our return to the hotel but also lied and said the library was closed for a private event & we could not have drinks there. Upon consulting with our butler over drinks in our room, we learned this was not the case. Two of these types of experiences in a 3-night stay is not acceptable at this price point. I did follow up with management via email after our stay to let them know, and received a lovely gallic 🤷‍♀️. Many good alternate hotels in Paris to choose from.

We had an absolutely magical stay at La Réserve Paris. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special. The reception area is beautifully decorated and quietly luxurious, and the staff at check-in were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Our room was stunning—thoughtfully designed, impeccably comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. We slept incredibly well, thanks to the peaceful location within the hotel and the soft, cozy bed and bedding. Every amenity felt top-level and carefully chosen. The bathroom was beautiful, the closet space was ample, and the bar was perfectly stocked. Service throughout our stay was outstanding without ever feeling stuffy or overdone. Every interaction felt kind, attentive, and effortless. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast paired with excellent coffee—an unhurried and elegant way to start the day. This stay was truly memorable and absolutely worth the splurge. La Réserve offers luxury that feels warm, personal, and refined, and we would return without hesitation.

We came for lunch. The food was not great but any means. Lacking flavor, dry, etc. They couldn't even get the French fries right (soggy and unsalted!) The decor looked cheap, aside from the chairs (faux marble, etc) and reminded me of a Buddha Bar vibe. Many details missed, stained carpet, etc. Disappointing, since it looks so lovely online. As a hotel, it doesn't have a proper lobby, you walk directly into the restaurant. At that price, there are far better options nearby.

La Réserve Paris is outstanding. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, the staff are incredibly hospitable and the food on site is top notch. If you have the money I highly recommend splurging on this hotel.

This hotel is one of the best in all of Paris. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, including a fun orange juice machine. This hotel is in a great location near groceries, restaurants, and shops wiithin easy walking distances to historical monuments amd museums. The staff offered a Spa time and had the room set up for a birthday celebration. In addition, they provided great restaurant recommendations and helped us with some travel logistics in a pinch. Our room was on the fifth floor and had a great view of the Eiffel Tower. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located in a safe, walkable area. Very Parisienne. Easy access to public transit. Next to lots of local restaurants and shops but on a quiet block. I had no issue with excessive noise or sound pollution. Our room was small but clean and modern. We even had a nice, private terrace with outdoor seating. Free still or sparkling water on tap. Coffee machine downstairs free to use, also. Staff was friendly enough, basic. Would consider staying here again but in a bigger room.

This is a boutique hotel that is within walking distance 1 - 1.5 miles. of the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame. We walked everywhere and took Uber or taxi back ti the hotel. Tye room is small. The amenities met our needs. The breakfast (fee) was just enough to start the day and saved us time. There are restaurants around the block and an Aldi’s on the street behind the hotel. Papo Pizza is on the corner next to the hotel. Great pizza, salads and drinks. Highly recommended for a quick or late night snack. We stayed here with another couple and enjoyed our stay. BTW, there is a Chocolate Boutique across the street. Don’t go there unless you want to enjoy probably the best chocolate that we ever had.

Hotel du Cadran is located on a quite little street with plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. The location was perfect for walking to some of the key sights of the city. The front patio area was great for early morning coffee and preparing for the day. Felt very safe there in spite of misc reports of minor crimes in the city. Would consider staying there again should we ever return.

One of my favorite hotels in Paris. Beautifully designed, intimate and perfectly located just off the Champs-Élysées. We had a room on the second floor and the silence was remarkable. Absolutely no noise , you almost forget you are in the middle of Paris. Even the sirens outside could not be heard. The service is exceptional: warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Always smiling at the reception. And do not miss the pool. A wonderful surprise in the heart of the city. An address I always enjoy coming back to.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel - it's like a quirky Boutique with it's decor throughout. The staff are wonderful here, very attentive to detail, warm, friendly & happy to help. champagne on arrival, bags taken to room, never mind the rose petals and chocolates I requested for my Wife's birthday! Fabulous location within yards of the Champs-Elysees and walk to Arc De Triomphe along with the restaurant and bars and then you have Franklin D Roosevelt Metro on your doorstep, making it so easy to get around - 4 stops and you are at the Eiffel Tower in 10 minutes. The hotel boasts a lovely little swimming pool & Hammam which is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is so much more than your traditional Continental Breakfast and the Afternoon Tea between 3-5pm is a wonderful touch, which you can use together with other hotels in the same chain when out and about. If you want an unforgettable stay then you need room 72 with it's own terraced balcony with views of the Eiffel Tower. We don't think you will beat this hotel for location, facilities and most important of all; excellent, warm, friendly staff. Rest assured we shall be back!!

The room was beautiful too with the lights above the bed, cute lamps which chime lightly from the flow of the AC (which if you need some noise to sleep, is a nice plus). They gave us a handwritten note, flowers, and macarons in our room when we arrived. The pool was amazing too and a pleasant break from the heat wave. I can't say anything bad about this place except next time I'm going to upgrade my family room with balcony on the 6th floor to the suite on the 7th floor instead!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, every person we encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. We honestly did not have a single negative experience. A very special thank you to Adam and to the wonderful woman in the restaurant—whose name we believe is Kamandu. They are truly beautiful people, not just because of the exceptional service they provided, but because of the genuine care, kindness, and warmth they shared with us. They made us feel valued, comfortable, and at home. It is clear that your team takes great pride in creating an outstanding guest experience, and it shows in every interaction. Please extend our sincere appreciation to everyone. We will always remember the hospitality we received and look forward to returning. With heartfelt gratitude, Ravi Singh and Family

This is a wonderful hotel in a convenient neighborhood. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. If traveling with a family, try to secure the 8th floor - a standard room with a queen bed that connects via hallway with a small room with two double beds. In between is plenty of storage space, bathroom, refrigerator. The room also has stunning views of the Eiffel Tower from the room with two doubles. The only drawback is the elevator only goes has high as the seventh floor, but staff were happy to help with luggage and the room offered tremendous privacy.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The suite was clean, and the service was excellent. We arrived in Paris to meet our son, who had been traveling in Europe. He arrived very ill. The staff helped us get a doctor to come to the hotel room. They sent breakfast to us, arranged for an additional day, and helped accommodate us when we arrived early. Five star experience. Special thanks to the staff for their excellent service in a time when we needed it the most.

We had a deeply concerning experience with Splendide Royal Paris and decided not to stay in this hotel after all. Beware! After making a reservation, we received a highly convincing fraudulent payment email containing our exact booking details, dates and pricelevel, together with a payment link. We paid, believing the communication to be legitimate. What concerned us almost as much as the fraud itself was the hotel’s response. Despite the obvious question of how a fraudster had access to our detailed reservation information, we received what felt like AI-generated pleasantries along the lines of “sorry for your inconvenience” and “let us know if we can assist in any other way”, rather than any meaningful explanation, investigation or sense of responsibility. We have stayed at many Relais & Châteaux hotels over the years and therefore had very different expectations, not only of the experience itself, but of the security surrounding our reservation and the way a serious incident like this would be handled. Only after we cancelled our reservation did the tone change somewhat. We cannot say where the data breach occurred, but when confidential booking information appears in a sophisticated fraud attempt, guests deserve a serious response and clear answers. For a five-star hotel and a Relais & Châteaux property, we expected far better.

The hotel is beautiful, with outstanding rooms and bathrooms, tasteful décor, and a pleasant location. However, the service quality brings the overall experience closer to a three-star stay than what you would expect from a Relais & Châteaux property in the heart of Paris. Given the hotel’s very high price point and its intimate size — only 12 rooms — I expected a far more attentive and polished level of service. Regarding location, the issue is not the neighborhood itself but the lack of clear information and support. Before arriving, I asked about parking options. I was told there were nearby alternatives, but no one mentioned that the parking spots directly in front of the hotel were available for guests. I only learned this after struggling to park on a quiet Tuesday night and asking the staff directly. Breakfast was another disappointment. At a hotel of this category, you expect an exceptional experience. On our first morning, service at the restaurant was slow and disorganized. Although breakfast is à la carte, it took 15 minutes just to receive a glass of orange juice. The food was only average — the bread even tasted stale — and the overall service felt surprisingly sluggish. For the next three days, we opted for in-room breakfast, which is complimentary and a welcome perk. Still, the orders arrived incomplete, and on one occasion breakfast was 20 minutes late, requiring me to call reception to check on it. The hotel itself offers little beyond the rooms and the service — and while the rooms truly are excellent, the service does not match the level advertised. Even at the hotel restaurant, guests do not receive priority access; securing a table requires a credit card guarantee, which feels out of place for a five-star property. In summary, the rooms are wonderful, and under different pricing this could easily be a four-star review. But considering the very high rates and the inconsistent service and food quality, the overall value does not align with expectations. It is a charming hotel, but it will not be my first choice on my next visit to Paris.

Hotel is nice, with nice sized suites but there is not hot water or water pressure in shower. It was like taking a shower with with a water bottle. I complained to hotel and they just said they could not fix it but offered no compensation except for some travel soaps. Not the service for 1400 euro a night.

My husband and I booked a Junior suite for our NY trip to Paris. Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne. We were provided a room tour when escorted to our room. We ordered room service the following morning which was on time and delicious. Our room had not one but two balconies. The staff prepared to go coffees for my hubby and I every morning before we left the hotel to our daily adventure. So sweet! The room was gorgeous. Bathroom was incredible! Closet was spacious and the décor was top-notch. Hotel is perfectly located near the city center. Easy to walk anywhere! I will definitely be staying here again. We love Paris and visit often! We highly recommend it.

I almost don't want to leave this review so that others don't discover how wonderful this hotel is. Fantastic location, so quiet at night despite being so close to sites. The service and communication from the concierge is exceptional. We really felt like guests and that everyone at the hotel cared about us. They even helped us with lost luggage by Air France. The rooms were beautiful, large, and such comfortable bedding. They also surprised us for our anniversary with decorations in the room. Oh, and how could we forget the fantastic breakfast, we looked forward to it every morning. The breakfast had fresh, diverse, and abundant choices. When we come back to Paris this will be where we stay, Merci Beaucoup!!

The hotel has a decent location. We had 2 rooms and stayed 6 nights. One of the rooms was the Superior room on the first floor. Rooms are outdated, chipped furniture, scratched floors, some plugs work, some don't. No C or USB plugs. There is no bar on the rooftop. The staff locked us out of our room after first night because we paid only a half of the amount and waited for the bank to clear the rest of the payment. At that moment, the hotel had already more than 12k Euro. The valet service is good.

The Hotel Marignan is the perfect Parisian hotel. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making every aspect of your stay exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully appointed, with every convenience at your disposal. The Eiffel Tower views are spectacular and make the experience even more memorable. Thank you for a perfect stay!

There is nothing left wanting at this hotel. The room, the location, the views- are all perfect. The staff really makes it shine. Do not miss the excellent breakfast. It was quietenough for us to be able to sleep without issues and the air-conditioning works. You could not ask for a better bathroom. When you pop outside of the hotel, you are at Champs-Élysées and you are just a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and so many other wonderful areas. This is the perfect hotel in Paris.

Thanks to you, my birthday became truly special and unforgettable. Everything was organized with such care and elegance that it felt like a fairytale. We are especially grateful for your help in bringing the 50 roses from France to Bulgaria – such a kind and thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your attention, care, and professionalism! VERZHINIYA AND SPASIMIR IVANOVI

Excellent place to stay! Beds are very comfy. Rooms are quiet. Excellent service and the best location! You can walk to Eiffel Tower plus we loved the restaurants nearby especially the one right across the street! At night you have a clear view of sparkling Eiffel Tower lights. Highly recommend!

I stayed here in April 2026 during my first solo trip to Paris and was happy with my decision. I highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quieter residential area that is still within walking distance to trains and sightseeing locations. The room was very spacious and clean with plenty of towels, a drying rack, and a mini-fridge with free beverages, which was very helpful when I got back to my room late and the shops were closed. All the employees were also very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately I got sick during my trip and had to figure out how to find a doctor with the Doctolib app and they let me use the hotel’s number because the app doesn’t accept American phone numbers. I accidentally locked myself out of my room twice, which was embarrassing, but they got me new cards without a problem. I have recommended this hotel to other friends and would absolutely stay here again on a future trip.

We are so glad we found this hotel for our recent visit. 7 of us , myself and 6 daughters in 4 rooms * King/twin beds in 3 rooms so everyone had their own comfortable bed! *Reasonable price. Book direct! Great communication beforehand *Fantastic location with a 15 minute or less walk to the Eiffel Tower and many of our destinations. On a charming street with cafes, bakeries, shopping, groceries, pharmacies and more. *Elevators and good air conditioning *Free water and coke in room fridge restocked daily. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location. The 7th arrondisment. The rooms are very clean and it is a very quiet hotel. Eugenia and Lia at the front desk is very helpful and very sweet. Each day there are fresh baked croissants in the breakfast room. It also is right across the street from a laundromat that takes credit cards and is kept very clean, which is a must after traveling a few weeks.

Rooms in Paris are smaller and fully understand this, we actually had 2 rooms (family of 5) and felt a little cramped but it was expected. I would've given 5 stars but I believe the floors / trash small things couldve been more clean. Beds were clean and comfy, would stay here again just knowing these to let you know. We could lean out our window on one side and see Eiffel Tower which was incredible but that also meant by street which was louder. The other room did not have street view but much quieter!

I don’t even know where to begin! One of my friends recommended this hotel, and I was honestly a little nervous because I usually stay at larger hotels. But from the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, and during our stay they were hosting a summer party on the terrace — it was such a gorgeous atmosphere that I honestly wished it lasted longer. The rooms were spacious (especially for Paris), spotless, and very comfortable. We booked the junior suite for three guests, and they were able to accommodate an extra bed for us without any issues. What really stood out was how attentive and accommodating the staff was throughout our entire stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and they were genuinely so pleasant the whole time. The next time I’m in Paris, I will absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience at Maison Delano during my visit to Paris. The atmosphere is elegant, warm and incredibly cozy. The flat white was honestly the best I've ever had and the dessert was both delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Marina, whose kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made my visit truly memorable. Looking forward to coming back!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. It’s in a fantastic area, the rooms are beautiful, and the terrace is lovely. All of the staff were attentive and welcoming, but a special mention has to go to Nasir. He looked after our family of four so well throughout our stay and was incredibly attentive, often anticipating what we needed before we even asked. His service truly made our experience exceptional.

Maison Delano offers a generally strong stay, with rooms that are well-maintained and thoughtfully appointed, though on the smaller side compared to expectations for a hotel of this caliber. One significant issue during the stay was a malfunctioning air conditioning unit that went unresolved for multiple nights, compounded by a notably slow response from the service team in addressing the problem — a frustrating gap in an otherwise attentive operation. The on-site restaurant stood out as a genuine highlight, offering elevated dishes that reflected real culinary ambition and quality execution. Breakfast, however, fell short of expectations, with a selection that felt disappointingly limited relative to the overall standard set by the hotel. Aside from the air conditioning issue, service throughout the stay was quite good, with staff generally attentive and accommodating. Maison Delano delivers a solid overall experience, and with more responsive handling of maintenance issues and an expanded breakfast offering, it has clear potential to reach an even higher standard.

Perfect stay! We loved this hotel! Very caring staff, they make sure you feel comfortable on every step you take in Paris. Chapeau bas to Tanja for making sure rooms were spotless. Extremely clean hotel. Many Parisian hotels feel old - here you can feel everything is fresh. Beeakfast was delicious. There was great choice. We loved that or was so comfortable just to go down have good quality products fresh juice, choice of fresh dishes. We loved butter and jam baguette. I wanted a crepes with chocolate and fresh strawberries and it was not a problem. Jean Christof remembered our breakfast choices and next day was ready to serve us what we chose 🙂 Very good waiter. Very caring and professional. Best Regards to all the staff, you are doing a great job. Keep it like this ! ❤️

Essential Tips for Booking a Hotel near Pont Alexandre III

While the area is undeniably prestigious, securing the right room requires a bit of strategy to ensure you get the exact experience you are dreaming of. The character of the 7th and 8th arrondissements varies greatly from block to block, and understanding these nuances will help you match a hotel to your travel style.

Book Well in Advance for Fashion Week and Summer: This district is ground zero for Paris Fashion Week and major summer tourism. Availability evaporates quickly, and rates skyrocket. Aim to book at least three to six months ahead if traveling in March, September, or July.

Prioritize the View vs. The Street Noise: A room with a direct view of the Eiffel Tower or the golden statues of the bridge is magical, but it often comes with the constant hum of traffic along the Quai d’Orsay. If you are a light sleeper, opt for a courtyard-facing room or a high floor with premium soundproofing.

Understand the "Rive Gauche" vs. "Rive Droite" Vibe: The bridge connects two distinct sides of the river. The Left Bank (7th arrondissement) is generally quieter, more residential, and filled with antique shops and government buildings. The Right Bank (8th arrondissement) is closer to the high-energy shopping of the Champs-Élysées. Choose your side based on your preferred atmosphere.

Check for Club Lounge Access: For longer stays, hotels that offer a Club or Executive Lounge can provide significant value. Complimentary breakfasts, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails in these lounges can offset the higher cost of dining out in this expensive neighborhood.

Don’t Underestimate the Walk to the Metro: While the area is central, some hotels near the Invalides or the river can be a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest Metro station (Invalides or Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau). If you plan to use public transport heavily, confirm the distance to the station before booking.

Staying near Pont Alexandre III places you in a bubble of Parisian perfection, where the stress of the city fades into the gentle flow of the Seine. It is an investment in atmosphere, convenience, and the kind of memories that only a city like Paris can provide.

Whether you choose a historic palace or a contemporary sanctuary, the proximity to this gilded bridge ensures that every time you step outside, you are greeted by one of the most beautiful urban views in the world. Your journey begins the moment you cross the river.
