Seville is a city that thrives on sensory contrast, where the scent of orange blossoms mixes with the rhythm of flamenco and centuries of history echo through cobbled streets. While the city is famous for its cathedral and royal palaces, it also offers a different kind of magic for families and thrill-seekers. Located on the historic grounds of the 1992 Expo, Isla Mágica is the region’s premier theme park, combining adrenaline-pumping rides with water attractions and live shows.
Choosing the right base for your adventure is crucial to maximizing your time in the Andalusian capital. Staying near the park places you in a unique district that balances modern architecture, riverside tranquility, and easy access to the historic center. However, the "Isla Mágica area" encompasses a variety of neighborhoods, from the artistic Triana side of the river to the modern infrastructure of the Cartuja island itself.
The accommodation landscape here is diverse, ranging from high-rise business hotels with panoramic views to boutique apartments that capture the local spirit. Your choice will depend on whether you prioritize walking to the park gates, accessing the city center, or simply finding a quiet retreat after a long day of screaming on roller coasters. Traffic and parking can be tricky in this part of the city, so selecting a hotel with good transport links or parking is essential.
To help you navigate the options, we have analyzed the best properties based on location, family amenities, value for money, and guest satisfaction. Whether you are planning a weekend break with the kids or a longer stay to explore all of Seville, these hotels offer the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. Each recommendation considers the specific needs of visitors heading to Isla Mágica, ensuring you spend less time commuting and more time enjoying the magic.
From properties with rooftop pools overlooking the Guadalquivir River to budget-friendly options that don’t skimp on quality, there is something for every traveler. We have focused on hotels that offer excellent air conditioning—a must during the scorching Seville summer—and easy access to the C1 and C2 bus lines that connect the park to the city.
The best stays near Isla Mágica allow you to seamlessly blend the excitement of the theme park with the cultural richness of Seville. They offer a sanctuary where you can recharge before your next adventure, whether that is braving the Anaconda water slide or exploring the Alcázar. Let’s dive into the top-rated hotels that guarantee a memorable stay.

This place could feel more welcoming with just a little bit of care.
The location (in terms of accessibility to the public transport, supermarkets and also the touristy places) is pretty good. It's pretty safe.
We checked in around 4pm. The common space (where the reception is) was humid and hotter than the outside. We had originally booked two beds in the mixed dormitory but the receptionist was kind to provide us beds from the male dormitory and the female dormitory.
The AC in the female dormitory was very good but the bed placement is a bit uncomfortable as the door opens directly to it. Privacy is not so good.
The AC in the male dormitory, however, was inefficient with removing the humidity. It felt very suffocating.
There are not enough showers in relation to the number of beds. And some people aren't even respectful enough to use the facilities properly. We didn't see any cockroaches (thankfully) but there was this one limb under one of the toilet rolls so take what you will with that info. There is no good maintenance.
We had bought microwavable supermarket food for breakfast the next day before checkout. The microwave disappears from the common space around 11pm, promising to arrive again around 7am. Never happened lol. We waited till 10:40 am for the microwave to arrive or the vitroceramic to unlock but neither happened. No one was around for us to even ask for help. We contacted them on booking.com but there has been no response.
If you are thinking of staying here, only return to sleep at night once you're dead tired and nothing can wake you. The female dormitory is good. Just not enough showers.
Edit: i guess my comment wasn't understood properly, so I will clarify even further. We woke up at 9am in the morning (2 hours after the time set for the kitchen to be accessible again) but the microwave was still not in the facility and the vitroceramic was still locked. We waited until 10:40am or so but nothing was accessible still. Even the receptionist was nowhere to be found. It's a pity.

We left the same night cause we found bedbugs in the beds. Reception initially refused to believe us without photos, and even after showing them, questioned their authenticity until staff finally came to verify the situation in person.
The owner threatened us that he would refund us only if we put 5 stars review on Booking.

We stayed at this property and left the same night due to unacceptable hygiene conditions. There were bedbugs in the beds, something the reception initially refused to acknowledge unless we provided photo evidence. Even after showing photos, they questioned their authenticity, suggesting they could be “photoshopped.” We eventually had to call staff to the room to physically see the bedbugs themselves, which was clearly inconvenient for us.
The owner’s reaction was equally shocking. Instead of taking responsibility or attempting any reasonable resolution, he was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. He refused to issue a refund even though we did not stay a single night.
The most unacceptable part was being told that a refund would only be given if we left a positive review on Booking. He even insisted that all seven guests would need to post separate positive reviews, otherwise no refund would be provided. This explains the misleadingly positive ratings on Booking.
We would not recommend this place to anyone.
Athanasia Mouriki★☆☆☆☆
I also had to leave immediately after discovering bedbugs in my bed on arrival.
The attitude from the management was rude and uncooperative, and I was denied a refund even though I never stayed there.
In addition, I was informed that positive reviews on Booking were required in order to receive any refund, which is very concerning.

I was so disappointed with the place. It was a good location but if you want a comfortable place, you are not going to find it here.
We stayed 3 nights with only women in the room, and the men that worked there entered without asking multiple times, just to open the blinds or clean the bathroom, at hours that didn’t make sense. I told one of the workers that we felt uncomfortable with an unknown man just entering whenever he wanted to our room. The following days, they did it again.
On the other side, the room smelled weird (and the window was locked so we couldn’t open it to air the room out), the sheets also smelled weird like they didn’t wash them and the mattress are really thin.
About the bathroom, sometimes there is no hot water to shower.
Also, the room is dirty everywhere so they don’t seem to clean it as much.
Not a great experience at all, I don’t recommend

We recently stayed at Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento during our visit to Seville and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is modern, spacious, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the pool area was excellent for relaxing after a day exploring the city, and the general facilities throughout the hotel were very good. The atmosphere feels calm and premium, making it a nice place for both families and couples.
What really made our stay memorable, however, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was exceptionally polite, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. From reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone treated us with professionalism and kindness. They always tried their best to assist with any questions or requests, and their positive attitude really stood out. Hospitality in Seville is generally wonderful, but the staff at this hotel were especially impressive and deserve recognition for how hard they work to make guests feel comfortable.
The main area where the hotel fell short for us was the food. While the presentation was decent, the actual food choices were quite limited, both in the restaurants and around the pool area. We found the menus repetitive and lacking variety, especially for longer stays or for families wanting lighter or healthier options. On top of that, the prices felt quite expensive for what was being offered. Considering the overall quality and standard of the hotel, we expected a much better dining experience.
That said, we still had a lovely stay and would happily return because the facilities and customer service were excellent. If the hotel improved the food quality, variety, and value for money, this would easily become a full 5-star experience for us.

We had a pleasant stay overall.
My whole family, and especially my son, would like to thank Fran from the Healthy Corner at breakfast. He introduced us to so many healthy and delicious breakfast options, and we truly appreciated his kindness and enthusiasm. Thank you, Fran!
The breakfast was excellent overall, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. Our room was also a good size and comfortable.
There were, however, a few downsides. We never knew what time the playroom would actually open, as it was rarely open at the time we were told. The lifeguard at the pool also seemed inattentive. My son nearly drowned, and I had to jump into the pool to help him while the lifeguard was looking at his phone and did not notice what was happening. In addition, he was sitting in a position where only about half of the pool was visible.
Finally, the food in the à la carte restaurant was very basic and plain. It was not particularly memorable and, in our opinion, was overpriced for the quality offered.
Amelie Wilczynski★★★★★
We only stayed for 4 days but it was such an enjoyable experience! Breakfast was delicious especially the smoothies which were so tasty. Fran was very kind and helpful at the vital corner and even came to offer us desserts at our table which were great. The hotel itself is really pretty with water features and plants and two other restaurants in it. We loved the adults only pool which was connected to an indoor pool. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The hotel isn’t in the main part of Seville but it doesn’t take long to get there as you can walk to restaurants in about 10-15 mins. We will hopefully be returning to this lovely hotel.

We arrived at Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento around 9 p.m. and were pleasantly surprised by how much street parking was available right outside the hotel. The property itself is modern, spotless, and very well maintained, with daily housekeeping keeping our room in excellent condition throughout our stay.
Our room on the top (4th) floor was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was honestly one of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept in—the mattress firmness and pillows were absolutely perfect. The breakfast was another highlight, offering fresh smoothies, fresh orange juice, and an impressive variety of food and desserts. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Taxis were always readily available outside which made getting around Sevilla very convenient.
There were a few minor downsides: the bathroom had a noticeable sewage smell coming from the drain, the soundproofing could be improved since noise from neighboring rooms was easy to hear late at night. Like many European hotels, there was no ice machine. I need ice for liquid medication that is only tolerable when ice cold, so I asked the bartender for ice. He provided two cubes and stated that was all he could spare even though there was no one in the bar. Perhaps, if I had bought a drink first, I might have received better service.
Overall though, we had a very comfortable stay and would still recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, and convenient location.

Really lovely, spacious modern hotel. Rooms are a really good size and are cleaned daily to a great standard. Good selection of food available although a bit expensive.
The Santa Maria Bar is great and Carlos (5 STARS) Is fabulous, efficient, hardworking and very attentive. Also his coworker, Jose, compliments Carlos very well. A great team and work extremely hard in the heat, always remaining positive. They also provided some great recommendations for places to go in town. They are a real asset to the hotel.

I would like to raise awareness about what I found to be a very misleading listing.
On Booking.com, the property is listed as “Ritual Alameda Seville” without the word “hostel” in the name. Based on the listing name, photos, and the fact that I booked a standard double room with a private bathroom, I genuinely believed I was booking a hotel, not a hostel.
When I arrived in Seville, I took a taxi and informed them ritual alameda hotel and searched it also in google to show him the address. Upon arrival, I found myself at Ritual Alameda Suites. The lady who answered the door seemed irritated and immediately asked for an access code. I explained that the phone I was using to communicate via WhatsApp did not have internet access at that moment.
She then called the property where my reservation was supposedly located and informed me that I had actually booked the hostel. I was very surprised and told her that I was certain I had booked a hotel. She replied that the hostel was a different property.
When the lady called that hostel it became worse, while I was standing outside in the heat with heavy luggage, I was informed over the phone that check-in would not be until 4:00 PM, even though I had expected to check in at 2:00 PM. At that point, I felt extremely frustrated and misled.
The staff in the wrong ritual alameda where I went, gave me directions to walk to the hostel. However, considering the weather, my exhaustion, the luggage, and the fact that we were traveling with a baby, walking was not a realistic option.
As a result, I decided to cancel the reservation. It was a disaster and a real inconvenience.
My main concern is that the property’s name and presentation on Booking.com can easily lead travelers to believe they are booking a hotel rather than a hostel.

We stayed there for three days (mid June). We got one of the basement rooms, specifically next to the kitchen. Overall, our stay was okay and not the expensive, and the location of the hostel is really close to the center. The room was also well air-conditioned.
However, two were the main issues:
1) the place had many dead cockroaches. Also, they sprayed everyday the common areas (kitchen and sitting room) with insecticides making it uncomfortable, to say the least, being there and the smell got into the rooms unfortunately.
2) I cannot say whether this is true for other rooms or not, but it was too noisy as we could hear everything in our room. Especially in the morning, the cleaning crew was way too loud waking us up way too early. In addition, any time anyone was entering/leaving the building m.

If you want to be HOMELESS in Seville, Spain – book this hotel. Despite receiving confirmation of my reservation for October 1st – 3rd, 2024, I was unable to gain access to this hotel upon my arrival and no one responded to my email or phone call. In short, I was left without a place to stay and had to secure other accommodations – at a premium price. I booked this hotel via the Citi Travel website and as of this writing they have not responded to my request for reimbursement. I ended up spending almost $500 USD for a two-night stay in Seville at other hotels. As a solo-female traveler, I was stranded without a place to stay and it was dark outside – not an experience that I ever want to repeat. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers who helped me find other accommodations. Do not book this hotel!

We stayed here and had a magnificent, immaculate room with a wonderful view. I could have just stayed there the whole day. The manager has the hotel running to a very high degree. Staff were so nice and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic; you can have anything and it was always no trouble. We would definitely visit again and recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at Eurostars Regina. The room was comfortable and generally clean, and the hotel offers very good value for money. The location is also great, making it easy to explore Seville.
There were a few small issues, though. Although the room looked clean overall, I found a few long hairs on one of the towels, which was a bit disappointing. The TV doesn't include YouTube or Netflix, so entertainment options are quite limited. We also tried to use the online check-out, but the link didn't work, so we couldn't access it.
Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel in a good location at a reasonable price, this is a solid choice.

Okey hotel with great location when you learn the neighbourhood. Service was good with polite staff and made something special for us to feel welcome. The main problem were somewhat noisy rooms with very bad isolation and something bit smelly in the hallways.

Great hotel. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom small but the shower was hot and powerful enough. Convenient location from the bus stop and easy walking distance to nearby coffee shops, bakeries or just a little bit further into the city centre.

Very small room not like booking photo. Only furniture is ONE nightstand and small metal dining chair. Front desk is unhelpful and borders on rude. I forgot my teeth retainers and was told I had to make the arrangements to have them sent back to me and they would not help. Called Eurostars Corp.and they said deal with the hotel ,they can't help. You can't arrange a package pickup without weight and dimensions. Also,I asked for parking prearrival, was told on check in none available park in public lot 15 min away. She also told me 3 times I had 5 minutes to tske my things to my room before moving my car. Found out later there was one available the next night, which THEY never offered. I inquired myself. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

• Staff & Service: The team here is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome from the moment you check in.
• Breakfast: Definitely worth including! The buffet offers a great variety, including fresh pastries, and good coffee, which is a perfect way to fuel up before walking to Royal Alcazar Gardens.
• Rooms: The rooms are a decent size for a city hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and they maintain a nice balance of modern amenities.
Highly recommended.

The ‘Sevilla Hard Luck Hostel’ would be a more appropriate name.
My private room had all the charm of a prison cell - dark, with mould on the walls, a broken window shutter, an aluminium cased window looking out onto an external AC unit. The wifi signal is so weak in the rooms that it’s barely usable.
I found hairs in my bedding, hairs on the floor.
I would say that maybe it’s fine for one night - as long as you don’t need to sleep. There is a machine humming noise thrumming throughout the night. I was only able to manage with ear plugs and white noise blaring out of my phone.
A few reviewers have commented on the nicely-tiled downstairs lobby. This is true! But be prepared for that splendour to dramatically recede as you go upstairs.
The only positive thing I can say about it is it’s a fairly nice, central location to explore all Sevilla has to offer - and you’ll want to do as much of that as possible, so you don’t need to spend a second longer than necessary inside the walls of this Hostel. It’s cheap but you can find better for the money.

This is by far the worst hotel I have been in, and I have traveled around the world. Dirty rooms that look like you are staying in a storrage room in a garage, with a aluminum door! The shower is a joke and so small you can not even touch your legs. It is very noisy and you can hear machines all night through. There was NO remote for the TV, so therefore NO TV, the AC did not work and the cushions were filthy. I could go on on, it is disgusting and NOT worth the price you have to pay for it!!

This hostel is totally cool. People i met there made my stay interesting and exciting. Chilling on the roof top made my day. Then drinking in the special place outside. Kitchen is nice, you can find there everything you need for cooking. There's bar, and witch couches. You can order breakfast if you want. Staff is amazing, very helpful and caring. This hostel is good located, not so far from the city center. Near to the river. It is also cheap. I recommend 4 beds room. You can rent a bike if you want. If you don't anything to do just chill on the roof top or have some conversation with the staff. People there are very open minded and easy going.
Hope to see ya again!

A good bang for your buck.
Employees are friendly and do their best to help you where they can. Good food and coffee. Beds are comfortable, not the best but it's a value option, if you want top of the line beds, go to 5 star hotels.
Only down side, the walls are super thin, if people snore in the other room, you'll hear it.

Sadly for the first time ever I left this holiday accommodation early .
We booked 3 nights here , the first being a late arrival ( after 5 pm) so had to use a machine to check in , the person in front of us was struggling so it took forever .
When we eventually checked in we got two codes , impossible to remember, one for the main door then one for the room , this was kept in photos on a phone to use every time we wanted to get in ( it wasn’t short!)
The studio itself was clean and had everything we needed however the location was nothing less than horrendous
The road we looked over was a Main Street and was noisy all day and night with busses , lorry’s , cars and people. Even on the third floor voices were carried up into the early hours from people leaving local bars .
Customers in the building were loud during the night , young people bringing party atmosphere even drinking and laughing in the stairwells where we found beer cans left each morning. After two nights of it we tried to talk with someone who was actually in the reception who just said nothing he could do.
We decided that spending money on another hotel would be better than staying another night here and it was the best choice we made.
The pool area was dirty , sunbeds stained , one umbrella for the whole rooftop so we didn’t stay , in fact never saw anyone else using it during the afternoon
If you are a party lover and don’t mind noise throughout the night this is for you , we were very disappointed and done research and don’t be fooled by the videos , descriptions and pictures !

Five stars only because of the staff - especially Tamara, the receptionist, delivered an extraordinary customer service. A very nice, beautiful, and cute apartment hotel! I was genuinely surprised by all the amenities provided — way more than I expected. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed and overall atmosphere made for a perfect night’s sleep. Excellent value for money and attention to detail.

Great hotel with a beautiful lobby and stylish interior. The downsides are that the Wi-Fi barely works in rooms 220–230, the furniture is a bit dated, and the hotel is fairly far from the city centre - about a 10–20-minute drive. On the plus side, it’s very quiet. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, especially compared to other hotels - we paid just €50 per night in July.

I personally had a great experience in this hotel, firstly when I arrived at 10am they were more than happy to let me use the pool services while I waited for check in, the room was lovely and clean and they even upgraded my room to a city view with a small balcony. The air conditioning also worked very well, whilst you can’t control the exact temperature it has low and high settings which were plenty! Especially for the price it was a great hotel and I’d definitely return!

Great Stay with a Rooftop Pool!
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I tried two different room types during my visit: the double room was incredibly spacious and big, while the single room was a bit small but perfectly fine for one person. Both rooms featured a large, nice bathroom.
The absolute highlight of the hotel is the rooftop swimming pool—it was the perfect, fun escape from the Seville heat, though I did miss having an open poolside bar to enjoy a cold beer. Breakfast was excellent, offering a massive variety including plenty of traditional Spanish options. Combined with a great, convenient location, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

People are being VERY nitpicky with this hotel.
Staff:
The staff was friendly and accomodating. Explanations were clear.
Hotel:
The hotel is a bit more old-style, yes, but far from outdated or substandard like other comments said. The hall, hallways and elevator were all very clean.
Yes, the pool closes at 8PM, no it is not too uncommon. The rooftop is still open though and very much enjoyable at this time for a quiet read, by the sunset, with a very nice view on the parliament and its garden. Hotel was quiet, we were facing the street but very little noise came in both from the road or the neighbouring rooms.
Rooms:
The room was tidy, functional and overall great. The AC works and is not terrible or overly noisy. It’s centralised, you need to turn it on for a bit prior to sleeping if you want your room cooled, as you don’t control the temperature (centralised, remember?), but it’s fine. The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels clean. The bathroom was fully functional and it’s not because it’s not grey and brand-steel-new that it’s unsanitary. The shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion did not make us smell like Frosch so from then on, it’s a win.
Overall this was a great stay, and this hotel should truly enjoy a better reputation as for the price, you can’t complain!

Have just stayed at this hotel! Had a double room with views no breakfast. Was a lovely sized room and bathroom exactly what was needed. Everything was clean. The service provided was appreciated too. The rooftop pool was a big selling point huge pool (could have more beds) but great to have. Not central Seville but taxis cost €8 max from the hotel to main attractions. All I could hear from my room was people moving chairs really not that much of an issue. I saw some mixed reviews but I think we were very lucky with this hotel!

Rooms: might need more ventilation cause the smell is a bit weird. Also, the air conditioner started leaking and water fall near the electricity outlet, which can be dangerous if water got inside. They sent someone to see it at the moment, but I hope later they had a proper profesional repairing it.
~Bed isn’t that comfortable, you can feel it is irregular. Pillow isn’t the proper one you find at hotel, it was hard, couldn’t use it for sleeping.
-Bathroom smells weird as well, but has all you need for one night as the minimum.
~They sent an email mentioning kitchen and shared areas. I tought they had a shared kitchen as well, but note that it doesn’t!!
~Note: While staying there, I felt I payed overpriced for what I got. Might be usefull for a couple of nights, but not booking again knowing this details.
Good things: Very good location, easy check in, and cleaness.

I can’t give this any stars our flight was late which means reception closed. Thankfully a guest let us in. We did not receive the code for the room. An AI robot told us we should have it and to contact the hotel reception to get it if not but they don’t answer. We are sleeping on the tiles floor of reception so we are not on the streets. No one answers phone or what’s app. It cost 130 euros for the room

Great location and price, but everything else was a mess.
The only good thing about this place is the location and price. Everything else was incredibly frustrating. The room didn’t have air conditioning, even though it was listed as included. One of the beds was wobbly and unstable.
There’s no reception or staff on site, everything is done virtually, which made check-in and communication a nightmare. On our last night, we were locked out because another guest’s key got stuck in the door. No one could get in, and all guests were stuck outside the building.
We tried reaching out through their WhatsApp support, but only received AI-generated responses, absolutely no real human help. After 4 hours of waiting, we finally managed to open the door ourselves by pouring olive oil from a nearby pizzeria into the lock.
I’m honestly shocked at the lack of any real support. This place has potential, but the management and operations are completely unreliable. Would not stay here again.

Booked a room for 1 night through hotels.com. Once the booking is done they ask to communicate through WhatsApp and ask for credit card details for a deposit (not specified in the booking). My bank rejected the transaction as suspicious (obviously) and the hotel refused to give the check in details. I wasted 3hrs of my day with calls and messages with them and hotels.com and I'm left without a room and no refund. Avoid at all cost and hopefully they'll be banned from exercising this activity, I'll do my part and escalate them to the proper local authorities.

Over all bad experience
ANTS IN THE BED!
we stayed two nights, we had been asked 3 times through WhatsApp/email what time we would check in and we told them 3 times, they never responded to say that the time given was to early so we didn't think anything of it. We go to the door and proceed to text them through WhatsApp as that's how they want you to check in, (stupid system ) you don't physically see anyone you just get a code and room number. They tell us it's to early to check in but we can leave our bags inside and come back at 3, we said ok that's fine someone came to lock our bags in reception, we told them we will be back at 3 o clock twice, to check in. We come back and text again on WhatsApp to say we are outside. They open message no reply they respond 10 minutes later and say a member of staff will assist you. 40 minutes later still no sign of anyone bare in mind it's 40 degrees heat outside, Eventually we get in and get our bags 45 minutes later. We are given room 1 which is on the ground floor with the window directly on the street and the door to the room directly facing reception, also our wall is directly beside the main door so you hear everyone coming in and out, I understand hostels ore always going to be noisy but that was ridiculous and then to top it all off after staying one night already the next morning we notice two ants on the bed. Thought nothing of it, we just thought they got in through the window or something. We come back that night and discover an ants nest right beside the bed, and ants on the floor and under pillows, disgusting!!!!!!

Just finished up our stay in one centro and all I can say is “WOW”! The location is perfect!! You are near by everything here, with restaurants right outside and the shopping district around the corner, there is always something to do here! Everyone at the hostel was extremely friendly and especially the volunteers who worked here! Mia, Laila, Olivia, and Frederico made us feel right home! As someone who is new to traveling abroad, it can be a bit overwhelming. But they took the time to show us around and gave us some of the best nights of our lives. Special shout out to Mia! When I was overthinking things, she was especially kind and overall warm to be around, these workers really go the extra mile! These lively volunteers made this experience for me. I couldn’t ask for a better group to be with for my first time in Seville! So thankful for all the memories and friends I made in this experience. If you are traveling to Seville, this is the hostel for you!! Thanks everyone 🙂

The hostel has a very open and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. It’s easy to meet people , and it almost has a family-like vibe, especially in the lobby where both guests and staff come together and hang out. It’s also really clean and organized. Would recommend!

I had a truly comfortable and enjoyable stay at Onefam Hostel. I would really recommend the hostel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, a great location and, above all, warm and personalized hospitality.
What really stood out was the staff, helpful and attentive even when unexpected situations came up. I really appreciated the personalized treatment and genuine care showed.
The place offers more than just an accomodation, they make you feel welcomed, supported and cared for, helping you enjoy a complete and full experience of the city.
Onefam Hostel undoubtedly made my time in Seville really memorable

Unforgettable, absolutely fell in love with the people staying with me along with the staff they all made my experience the best I could have had for my first time in Spain. Layla & Frederico were amazing hosts and im so glad i was lucky enough to be there when they volunteered. Their dedication to their jobs was impeccable and the space was wonderfully kept and full of character. Add the right cocktail of people coming along for our stay and you have a paradise of adventure waiting for you. Cant wait to come back!

This was my first Solo trip and my first Hostel Experience. And I can’t complain!
I met new friends, the Hosts were amazing people, very helpful and friendly.
Felt very welcoming, didn’t want to leave afterwards, when I met a lot of new people, because of the OneFam! They organized in the evening to go out, and it was great.
There is a group chat, where all the news is posted!
Loved it, would go again!
recommend!

This hotel is a good mid range option. Its quite close to the center (if you are mobile and can walk a little bit everyday, no problem) coffee is not too good, breakfast is quite good over all. Rooms are clean and the pool etc are nice and clean. Very cute inside garden. Enjoyed it.

Fantastic! Deserves at least ten stars! Breakfasts absolutely marvellous everything you could want at a great price. We had a room in the old part with an outside glassed in balcony. What an absolutely fantastic room! Just absolutely great!

Odd. Hot water needs 10 minutes to arrive in 3rd floor. Cash deposit 20 euros for towels. Don’t recommend to anyone else. Breakfast is of low quality and people smoking

I cannot say enough about this property. I am traditionally a Marriot person but decided to try this property based on location. My two sisters and I stayed October 7-15 in a triple room. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. We opted for breakfast included which had plenty of options including a coffee machine for my morning Capaccino's. Location is great for walking around the city with lots of close restaurants to walk to in the evening.
The front desk staff were always friendly, smiling, and offered many suggestions for restaurants.
We enjoyed relaxing each evening in the bar with a nightcap.
We look forward to staying here again when in Seville. Amazing staff!

Rang us at nearly midnight to bring a few clothes in off the balcony. Completely unacceptable and ruined our sleep.

I stayed for two nights but decided to leave after the first night.
Positive sides:
The manager was polite and helpful. The location is convenient, close to the city center, with easy access to transport. Security felt good, and there are plenty of bars and tapas places nearby.
Negetive sides:
There were multiple issues during my stay. The beds are too high and uncomfortable to access, with no charging sockets for the upper bunks. The room felt hot and smelly due to poor air conditioning. Nights were noisy because of loud corridors and lack of soundproofing. Ventilation is very limited, making the space feel suffocating. Toilets were under construction and not properly maintained. Also, lockers are unusable unless you bring or buy your own lock.
Asia Bancyrek★☆☆☆☆
Terrible!! Mold all over the walls, just next to your head, absolute humidity in the bathroom, dirty bedsheets covered in stains and hair. We immediately decided to leave and look for a new place. It was the double room with private bathroom.

I WAS ACTUALLY WRITING THIS FOR BOOKING REVIEW BUT IT KICKED ME OUT OF THE FORM AND CONCLUDE MY FEEDBACK JUST BY NUMBER OF MY RATING WHICH IS PRETTY SUSPICIOUS I HAVE TO SAY.
I'm really confused, I really wanted to give a good rating to this place and say everything is solved now...but.
I came, receptionist waited for me till 22. Well he didn't speak english but that's no suprise in spain. He used translator and was nice, trying to answer my question. I even had place in my fridge and overall it was pretty clean hostel. Personal was smiling and I can say they are trying a lot. Locality is pretty okay.
When I came I was brought to room 5 wich was looking pretty terryfiing, but receptionist noticed and he automatically gave me to room 6 which was clean, completely new matraces, bedsheets, everything clean and nice, so I was very relieved and I think that's the best room in whole hostel, bathroom was pretty nice for hostel, I was content, BUT.
I cannot rate this hostel 10 even I really wanted at least 8-9 BUT. My nightmare came true (gladly just) at last morning I found on wall next to my head a bed bug, gladly it was big and I noticed and it wasn't in bed, but I don't understand where it came from and I was terryfied. When I came home exhausted after travel, I still had to go through all my things for few hours if I didn't bring home anything and I'm still terryfied. There can be sth which I overlooked... I was sleeping in many cheap hostels, my expectations are really low, I can say this was very nice hostel, BUT I NEVER EVER had problem with bedbugs or any other bugs even in 10€ hostels. (Here I payed 16..)
This is also the first hostel where I got a duvet without a cover. The duvet seems new, but you only provide a flat sheet. I understand it might be for summer, but why not just use duvet covers instead? Do you wash the whole duvets then? That seems quite inefficient, or are they not washed at all? And Idk if it's bad, but you sleep in room with hostel stuff which is little unusual.
And also pleeaase stop sending so many random messages, I never have been spamned with so many and so long useless information..
Sorry guys, but you need to chcek everything once again, just clean it properly and then you'll be amazing hostel!

My 2 nights in this hostel were great, Micky and Davi were very kind and made sure my stay was comfortable - the hostel has great facilities and 4 bed dorms are a nice change compared to huge 12 person rooms.
I’m surprised by all the bad reviews, though it must be because of the change in management and renovations because now this is one of the best hostels Ive stayed at!
Good location 20 minute walk from downtown, with public transport and great tapas nearby!

Please do yourself a favor and don’t book this hostel!
Everything that could have gone wrong happened to me. Im writing this as I am awake in the middle of the night leaving the hostel abruptly.
The first red flag was that I get contacted on WhatsApp on the day of the reservation saying that they have been trying to contact me and that the reservation will be cancelled if I don’t pay fast on a link send through a WhatsApp message.
I enter and the staff doesn’t speak good english just gives me the keys and lets a guy that smells like alcohol escort me to my room without explaining neither the working hours neither how to enter the building because there is no staff at reception for the bigger portion of the time.
I enter the room and it smells rancid, go up to my bed(top bunk) and two things stand out to me - the sheets have really bad smell like they haven’t been changed in a while and also the bed has a huge gap between the wall and the bed without a railing.
I immediately go down to reception and ask for my sheets to be changed. The guy that I suppose actually works there understands me, knowing that the sheets are used but wanting to save the effort to change them. They are trying their luck with people not paying attention to unchanged sheets. He motions to the alcoholoic guy to get new ones. We get up and he pulls out brand new sheets from the box. And then he gets up the bed with his shoes on to change the bedsheets. I am speechless but let him do it.
Turns out not only the sheets smelled but the whole mattress.
I also look around and see hair and other dirt on the ground. Nobody had cleaned in some time. I also searched for my locker as this was also advertised as part of the “extras”. The alcoholic guy shows me a locker and takes out some questionable blankets with weird stains on them and puts them in the corridor.
To top it all off, the thing that made me leave - during the night I get scratchy but can’t seem to find the reason. Finally at some point I caught something - bedbugs. My whole body is covered with bites. This was it, I’m leaving.
Also there is lack of security during the day - the door is wide open and most of the time there is nobody on reception, just some drunk and smelly old guys.
This is crossing some health violations and needs to be expected, do yourself a favor and don’t book this hostel.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel last month. It is a cute hotel with a lovely interior. The interior is elegant yet cosy with beautiful paintings and a lovely waiting area. A special thanks to Elisa who helped me and made the checking in and checking out process smooth. She was very helpful with guiding me about taxis and nearby locations, additionally she kindly helped me with my luggage also. I would love to return one day and stay here.
Thank you!

This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are not soundproof so till 1 o'clock in the morning you hear the doors opening and closing and some slamming. Then again in the morning, so sleeping in is totally out of the question! The rooms need to be updated. The bathroom is very tiny that you can wash your hands and go to toilet at the same time. There's no counter space in bathroom and not proper lighting and the tub you have to be very careful. You might kill yourself. The beds need to be burned and the pillows. I always travel with my own pillow. There is no room service, but they say there's a restaurant that they can order food for you and have it delivered to the room in 30 minutes, so not true it took almost an hour, and it was very cold and if your room is in the courtyard area, you're taking a big chance of loud people out in the courtyard area totally do not recommend this Hotel and I will never stay here again! I don't know how this is a 4 star/sun Hotel. I stayed for four days and I couldn't wait to go home! The staff is kind and polite. That's the only thing good and of course it's has a cute lobby and cute courtyard. Apparently no one's really checking the rooms out cause I still don't get how this is a four star hotel I was excited to get here and just dealt with it, but I've traveled the world and stated a lot of hotels. This is definitely one that I would not recommend and I don't know how they get any stars I would give this a zero star hotel.

I never got to stay here, but I want to share how the cancellation was handled.
I had surgery on 4 August and my surgeon certified I couldn’t travel until 20 September. I sent the report through Hotels.com well before my 22 August booking. The property’s answer, relayed to me twice, was that they couldn’t review “a reduction of the cost” while the booking was still active, and asked me to cancel it first. I did, nine days before check-in, in peak August, so the room could easily be resold.
Once it was cancelled, they refused any refund at all. Not a partial one, not a credit, nothing.
For comparison: my hotel in Madrid, booked for the same trip, read the same certificate and refunded me without any argument. That’s the difference I’d want a future guest to know about. Asking someone to release the room first and then declining to offer anything isn’t something I’d expect from a place I’d chosen to stay at.
The rooms may well be fine. I never found out.

Well established in the historical center of Seville, it offers the opportunity to walk around the city easily. Good breakfast. Visited the place in the last October. The neighborhood is quiet and this can be pretty dangerous if you are walking out at late night. I was attacked and robbed while I was returning to the hotel after 1:30 am in the last of four nights staying, about 40m away from the hotel. Very good place to stay in Seville but you have be careful at night.

Location - close to city center. Durning a booking ask for room without window pointed to street. Sound isolation is poor and the noise from city is annoying. Make sure AC in room is working, my did not but I have noticed it in the middle of the night. Patio and corridors are cosy and nice but I would expect more from 4 star hotel.
Tips for Visiting Isla Mágica and Choosing Your Stay
Planning ahead can significantly enhance your experience at Isla Mágica, as the park’s location and Seville’s climate require some strategic thinking. From timing your visit to understanding the local transport system, a little local knowledge goes a long way. Here are some essential tips to ensure your trip is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Book Tickets Online and Check the Calendar – Isla Mágica is not open year-round; it typically operates from spring through autumn, with special events around Halloween and Christmas. Always check the official calendar before booking your hotel to avoid disappointment. Purchasing tickets online often saves you money and helps you skip the long queues at the entrance, giving you more time on the rides.
Plan for the Heat – Seville is one of the hottest cities in Europe, and the sun can be relentless, especially in July and August. Choose a hotel with a pool if you plan to visit during these months, as you will appreciate the chance to cool down. Inside the park, take advantage of the water rides and the Agua Mágica water park area, and always carry sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.
Consider the "Agua Mágica" Schedule – If you are visiting specifically for the water park section (Agua Mágica), note that it often has different opening hours than the main theme park. Sometimes it closes earlier in the evening. If water slides are a priority for your family, look at the schedule in advance and plan to arrive at the water attractions early in the day before the crowds peak.
Use Public Transport to Avoid Parking Fees – While driving gives you flexibility, parking at Isla Mágica can be expensive and fills up quickly during peak season and special events. The C1 and C2 circular bus routes are excellent and connect the park to the city center, Triana, and the Santa Justa train station. Staying near a C1 or C2 stop can save you both money and the stress of navigating traffic.
Stay on the "Right" Side of the River – The Isla de la Cartuja, where the park is located, is technically an island in the Guadalquivir River. While it is walkable from the Triana neighborhood, crossing the bridge in the midday heat can be exhausting. If you want to walk to the park, look for hotels in Triana near the Puente de la Barqueta or on the Cartuja itself, rather than in the distant Nervión or Santa Cruz neighborhoods.
Finding the right hotel near Isla Mágica transforms a simple theme park visit into a fully immersive Seville holiday. By staying close to the action, you give yourself the flexibility to take a midday siesta at the hotel, return to the park for evening shows, and explore the surrounding Expo ’92 legacy at your own pace.
Whether you opt for the modern comforts of a hotel on the Cartuja or the bohemian charm of a stay in Triana, the perfect accommodation is waiting for you. With a little planning and the right base, your trip to Isla Mágica will be a magical highlight of your Spanish adventure.
