10 Halal Restaurants near Jardin des Tuileries

Finding a great meal in the heart of Paris can often feel like a compromise between location and quality. The area surrounding the Jardin des Tuileries is undeniably one of the most beautiful and historic parts of the city, but it is also a prime tourist zone where inflated prices and mediocre food can be common.

However, you do not have to settle for a stale sandwich on a park bench unless you want to. Just steps away from the manicured hedges and iconic statues, you will find a vibrant and diverse culinary scene waiting to be explored. From upscale Japanese udon houses to traditional French bistros and authentic Lebanese grills, the streets surrounding the garden offer something for every palate and budget.

Whether you are taking a break from the Louvre, finishing a shopping spree on Rue Saint-Honoré, or simply craving a delicious meal after a morning stroll, convenience is key. The best restaurants in this district understand the needs of both travelers and locals, offering efficient lunch services without sacrificing the authenticity of their cuisine.

This curated guide focuses on establishments that deliver exceptional value, consistent quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. We have prioritized locations that are easily walkable from the garden gates, ensuring you can maximize your time enjoying Paris rather than navigating the metro. You will find a mix of hidden gems and established favorites that have earned the loyalty of Parisian regulars.

The dining landscape here is incredibly diverse, reflecting the global nature of the city itself. You can easily travel from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the sun-drenched coast of Lebanon without walking more than ten minutes. This variety makes the Tuileries district an excellent base for food lovers who want to sample different cuisines in a single afternoon.

When selecting the restaurants for this list, we considered more than just the food on the plate. We looked at proximity to the garden, the warmth of the service, the comfort of the dining rooms, and the overall value for money. These are places where you can feel confident walking in with tired feet and leaving fully satisfied and re-energized.

Below, you will find our top selections for the best halal dining experiences near the Jardin des Tuileries. Each of these venues has been chosen to help you navigate the neighborhood with confidence and taste.

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars) We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot. The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order. The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table! The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned. Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind. That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money. It smells off!! I am so angry i paid for this

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip. The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed. We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered. One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us. Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

Loved the chicken here, it was so juicy and tender. We ordered a curry Poulet which came with two sides and the salad. It was a very generous portion and the restaurant was air conditioned (we dined during the heatwave so really helped). The menu was halal and the server was very courteous and entertained us in English.

I love this place. Their food is very delicious and every time I come to France, I drive straight out to this place to eat there. Mix plates are so full and you can even share as the portions are very big. It’s almost like a mom and Pop store so the service is very good. The place is clean and comfortable seating.

Turkish kebab spot that gives generous portions. Came here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing and we wanted to grab something to eat back in our hotel. They do have seating available. Credit cards and cash accepted. The kebabs come with fries on the side and a tasty sauce. They do have vegetarian options (falafel).

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience. As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after. The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place. Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins. On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.
Taimur Mian★★★★★
The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

★★★★★ Oulala truly lives up to its name — what a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable without being overbearing, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour — you can really taste the care and freshness in the ingredients. It felt like authentic French dining done right. The ambience tied everything together perfectly — cozy, elegant, and relaxed. Whether for a date night or a special gathering, Oulala creates the perfect setting. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home. The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves. Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

Honestly one of the best places I’ve been to. Their food is authentically French and halal too. Honestly, one of the best places in Paris. The service is impeccable. Our server Anees was excellent - he was extremely attentive, made excellent suggestions, and was constantly checking in. It’s also quite busy well into the night. The French onion soup is particularly amazing, but everything on the menu deserves a try. Would definitely come back here.
Atinna Ma★★★★★
A very authentic and comforting French dinner tonight in Paris. The fish soup had a rich fish flavour and felt very traditional. The Escalope Normande was tender, with a creamy mushroom Normandy sauce that had a slightly sour tang, making it feel genuinely French and rustic. They also served a complimentary tuna toast, which was a lovely surprise. The portions were very generous and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I wanted to order dessert too, but I was simply too full by the end!
Mimi★★★★★
The duck tasted better than any duck I’ve ever had. The French onion soup, duck, potatoes, and crème brûlée rounded out our meal and all were delicious. The chicken Normandy portion looked small but was more than enough.
dramanimegeek★★★★★
Great staffs and restaurant atmosphere. Ordered the duck confit, onion soup and creme brulee, everything was delicious. The serving could take some time to get to your table, but definitely worth it. The duck are so soft, the meat falling off the bones, french onion soup also very tasty that we keep munching it with the bread served. Located near to Gallerie Lafayette Haussman which you can enjoy Paris Eiffel Tower, very well located. I recommend for those who wish to enjoy Halal French cuisines.

It was my first time trying Indian food, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. We ordered naan and tandoori lamb as starters — they were good, though not exceptional. For the main courses, we had the butter chicken and butter shrimp, and they were absolutely amazing. The sauce was incredibly flavorful and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily come back again!

I was shopping in the area when I stumbled upon this place and since I love desi food I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed! I loved the butter chicken and garlic naan (pictured) and had the gulab jamun for dessert. The staff is so kind and gave me one on the house! Amazing food and amazing service, I highly recommend.

Two very special experiences we had in this restaurant- Foremost The Food: It was wonderful to say the least. My uncle and aunt visiting from India mentioned that this was better than what they had there ! Secondly The Service: It was warm and welcoming. The staff’s hospitality was marvellous, they frequently checked on us if everything was fine and need anything. This wonderful experience was topped when they offered us a sweet on the house ! Truly magnificent. Thank you Mr. Sandhu Charan Jit 🙂

A ver nice place with a lay down atmosphere in a calmer street. The decoration is lively and the staff is really friendly. All dishes were good and had interesting flavours. The story behind the restaurant is heartwarming and knowing that everything is done in house with fresh ingredients is a blast.

An unexpected gem. We spoke with the owner several times and also found the wait staff to be a delight. The food is healthy, creative, flavorful, and thoroughly satisfying. If you like Moroccan food or hummus this is a must! I recommend everything I tried: the hummus sampler, falafel, chicken with olives, and desserts (multiple; my dining partner and I enjoyed alternating between the coconut/citron and flan/orange flower varieties). The interior design is fantastic, too - don't sleep on checking out the toilet (not joking). The music was also fantastic (Elvis et al. earlier in the evening, then instrumental middle eastern). A lovingly and thoughtfully created dining experience and one of only two places that I made a point of eating at twice while in Paris.
Viren Aggarwal★★★☆☆
It's difficult to find interesting and good quality food while traveling and Paris has many dodgy touristy restaurants on every corner. Yoummah was a great find. It's a blend of Arabic North African cuisine- Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan. The decor is very calming. The ladies serving and cooking are charming and polite. The food- we had the variety hummus plate. Unfortunately it was hard to distinguish between the various versions of hummus. Though I could feel that the food was good quality, it certainly packed in flavor. Then I came for their aubergine dishes and that day the aubergine did not get delivered. Well, if it's 1/3 of your menu then how come there were no contingency plans? Meaning every grocery store sells good quality aubergine in France/Paris. A run to the grocery store would have done the trick....so disappointing. I had the best food (similar type of food) in Essaouria, Morocco. The flavors there were unbelievably great.
Kelly★★★★★
Yoummah is a great place for middle-east food! I got the 35€ menu and was very satisfied with the amount of food but also the quality that came with it! You get a taste of their different appetizers + a choice of main dish + dessert! The portions are huge and I left the restaurant completely full 🙂 the only small regret is the lack of nicer desserts, their current ones have nothing too special, but I will definitely come back!

O M G. This place was amazing!!! Our table had both detox drinks (delicious!), the chicken bites to share (a must), the chicken tagine (sublime), the falafels (moist and delicious, not even close to dry like most falafels I’ve had), and the quinoa and veggies (a party in your mouth). Honestly, I’m so disappointed we only found this place right before we were about to leave. The best meal I’ve had in Paris this whole week. Worth the trek, no matter what part of Paris you’re in. SO GOOD!

Kehribar quickly became one of those rare places you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. I went for lunch yesterday with my wife, and the food was so outstanding that we found ourselves coming back again tonight for dinner with another couple. That alone says everything. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The aromas of the food immediately pull you in, and the friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home right away. The vibes flow seamlessly from outside to inside—warm, inviting, and full of character at every turn. The food is truly exceptional. The Istanbul grill for two is absolutely perfect—generous, beautifully cooked, and packed with deep, rich flavors. Every bite was memorable. The 7-variant appetizer plate is a fantastic way to explore a variety of cold mezes, each one fresh, vibrant, and full of authentic taste. The service was excellent throughout our visit, attentive without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was the chef’s genuine desire to make guests feel like family—you can feel the care and pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Kehribar is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. Warm hospitality, incredible food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. Highly, highly recommended. Best part - it’s a full halal menu!

What a great find! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to translating the menu and assisting us whenever needed. We sat at the tables in front of the main preparation area, which gave the place a lively atmosphere, but there’s also another room next door with a few additional tables if you prefer a quieter spot. We ordered the Mediterranean dish and the döner plate, and the portions were amazing. The döner dish came with a small salad, fries, and a side of rice, making it incredibly filling. The Mediterranean platter also included tzatziki, flatbread, and hummus — and every single component was exceptional. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and generously served. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!!!

If you want to have a nice and incredible dinner during your Paris trip, this is the perfect place for you!!! The food is the best you could get and it has amazing prices! The owner, Korhan, is one of the best hosts you could wish for. He is very helpful and kind. He also has good humor and is in general pretty funny. The ambience is relaxing and gives a familiar feeling. The staff is also very nice and helpful. Tips for Dining Near Jardin des Tuileries

Dining in a high-traffic tourist zone requires a bit of strategy to ensure you get the best experience possible without unnecessary stress. While the restaurants listed above are all excellent choices, knowing how to navigate the Parisian dining schedule and local customs will significantly enhance your meal. Here are a few practical tips to keep in mind before you head out to eat.

Book ahead when possible.
Even for casual lunches, tables near the Tuileries fill up incredibly fast, especially on weekends and during fashion week. If the restaurant accepts reservations, make one. It saves you from wandering around hungry and ensures you get a comfortable seat rather than being turned away at the door.

Understand French meal times.
Parisian kitchens often close between lunch and dinner service. If you plan to eat a late lunch at 3:30 PM or an early dinner at 6:00 PM, you may find many kitchens temporarily closed. Aim to align your eating schedule with the local rhythm: lunch between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and dinner starting around 7:30 PM.

Look for the "Service Continu" sign.
If you are jet-lagged or have a tight museum schedule, you need a restaurant with continuous service. Many modern Asian and Middle Eastern restaurants in the area serve food all afternoon. This is a lifesaver if you want to avoid the standard rush and eat in a quieter atmosphere.

Ask about prayer facilities.
Many of the halal restaurants in this central district are small and do not have dedicated prayer rooms. However, the staff are usually very helpful. If you need to pray, it is best to ask discreetly if there is a quiet corner available, or plan to visit the Grande Mosquée de Paris, which is a short metro ride away.

Explore the side streets.
The restaurants directly facing the Rue de Rivoli tend to be the most expensive and the most crowded. Walk just one or two blocks north or south, and you will find better value and a more authentic atmosphere. The streets around Rue Sainte-Anne and Rue Montorgueil are particularly rich with high-quality halal-friendly Asian and Middle Eastern options.

Navigating the culinary landscape of the 1st arrondissement is an adventure in itself, one that rewards those who look beyond the obvious. Whether you choose a steaming bowl of ramen or a plate of mixed grills, the area around the Tuileries proves that you can enjoy a halal meal without sacrificing location or quality.

The true beauty of this neighborhood is that it serves as a crossroads of cultures. As you sit down to eat, you are participating in a long tradition of Parisian dining that has evolved to welcome the world. Enjoy your meal, savor the atmosphere, and take a moment to appreciate that you are dining in one of the most beautiful settings the city has to offer.
