Visiting Bioparc Valencia is unlike any other zoo experience in Europe. Instead of cages and fences, the park immerses you in meticulously recreated African ecosystems where animals roam in spacious, naturalistic habitats. Located in the northern part of the city within the historic Turia Gardens, the park is a must-see for families, couples, and wildlife enthusiasts.
Because Bioparc is situated slightly away from the historic old town and the beachfront, choosing the right accommodation is essential for maximizing your time. Staying nearby allows you to walk to the park gates at opening time, avoid city traffic, and easily return to your room for an afternoon siesta. The surrounding neighborhoods offer a quieter, more residential feel than the bustling city center.
The area immediately around Bioparc is well-connected by metro and bus, meaning you don’t have to sacrifice access to Valencia’s main attractions. You can easily reach the historic center, the City of Arts and Sciences, or Malvarrosa Beach within minutes. This makes the neighborhood a strategic base for a balanced city break.
The hotel landscape around the park ranges from budget-friendly urban stays to upscale boutique properties. Whether you are traveling with young children who need space to play or are a couple looking for a romantic retreat, the area has a diverse portfolio of options. Many properties offer family rooms, swimming pools, and early breakfast services tailored to park visitors.
When evaluating the best hotels near Bioparc Valencia, we considered proximity, guest satisfaction, amenities, and overall value for money. We looked for properties that offer comfortable beds, reliable Wi-Fi, and helpful staff who can assist with ticket purchases and local recommendations. Cleanliness and air conditioning are also top priorities given Valencia’s warm climate.
Choosing the right base can elevate your entire trip. A hotel within walking distance of the park allows you to enjoy the lush Turia Gardens in the early morning or evening, away from the tourist crowds. It also places you close to excellent local dining options that are often more affordable than those in the tourist core.
Below, you will find a curated list of the 12 best hotels near Bioparc Valencia. Each option has been selected for its unique strengths, ensuring there is a perfect fit for every type of traveler and budget.

The hotel is excellent overall. Although it is located a bit outside the city center, it is very well connected by public transportation.
A tram stop right next to the hotel provides a direct route to the beach, and there is also a bus option available. Additionally, just across the street, you can catch a bus that goes straight to the city center, which makes getting around very convenient.
There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of dining options.
The hotel staff is outstanding, and the breakfast team truly deserves a perfect score for their friendliness and service.
The pool was a bit too cold for this time of year, but still acceptable.
The room/apartment we stayed in, located on the top floor, was fantastic — spacious, clean, and with a beautiful view.

Comfortable and well-suited stay for a business trip. Very friendly and professional staff, excellent location, and a great breakfast with fresh and varied options. Parking was convenient, and the availability of EV chargers is a big plus.
Points to improve: a slight smell can occur if the sink is left open, and elevator availability can sometimes be limited (though it can encourage using the stairs).

I stayed three nights at this hotel as a female traveler and I found it very safe and reassuring. The rooms are clean, and housekeeping does an excellent job every day. The housekeeping staff truly work very hard and deserve recognition. The reception team is also very professional.
However, I do find it a bit excessive to charge for bottles of water. I can understand that bottled water may be paid, but at least one complimentary bottle should be offered upon arrival in the room. After a long flight, sometimes you just want to drink some water without having to pay two euros for a bottle. Having to pay immediately for water feels a little disappointing, especially since even many hotels in Geneva offer a complimentary bottle of water in the room.
Aside from that, the value for money is excellent. Everything was very good, and the breakfast was also very complete. The breakfast team was extremely kind and welcoming.

Overall it is a pretty decent place, but they need to work on the restaurant service. They messed up our order completely, and we waited a long time for our food. Luckily they realize the challenges and were very nice about it, so we’re giving 4-stars.
The pool is very underwhelming, but it is nice that is on a roof. The sauna was good and hot. The drinks at the pool are way overpriced.

First day, the people at the reception were not very keen to help me carry my family’s luggages to the room whereas I was by myself with my toddler and pregnant with 2 big luggages and 4 bags. They asked me if I can do it with someone else before putting me in the lift with the luggages and wanted to leave me there.
The bed has only one single sheet, no blankets at all and when I asked reception to have one they said they can’t provide any. They answer without politeness saying that it’s not winter so no blankets.
Worse service I have even seen for a 4 star hotel!!

The room was nice, with a huge bed. The lock on the bathroom didn't quite work, and the ac seemed a little inadequate.
The hotel front desk staff were very nice, helpful and welcoming. Our flight got cancelled and the front desk staff were very helpful with advice.
The restaurant staff, on the other hand, were less attentive. This was further emphasised when the restaurant manager was in on our last day, and he was extremely warm and accommodating.
On a side note, the restaurant manager was amazing and was clearing tables as well as providing incredible service.
The location was superb. With the help of the front desk staff we were advised to get a 3 day travel card for around 12 euros each and were able to travel to most places within 40 mins (the furthest we went was the beach). There was also a mall and a super market about 5 minutes walk away.

A great value for money, checked in yesterday. Family of 3 , nice clean rooms. Good soundproof, comfy bed. A bit far from the old center but a 20 min stroll and you are in the mix of all. The area is quite and peaceful.

Convenient for Palacio de Congresos and the old town (and the new Valencia FC stadium when it's finished). Walkable but I cycled (Valenbisi opposite). Nice rooms and bar/restaurant, staff are fab (I don't speak Spanish),

From the first warm Hello at the reception from Flavia, to the amazing breakfast room staff, the clean rooms and the great beds… we felt at home until the end the trip. Clear recommendation to anyone visiting beautiful Valencia. Thank you Team Hotel Kramer!

The hotel room is clean and comfortable, with plenty of toiletries provided. The staff members are very friendly, helpful, make you feel welcome, and provide recommendations for attractions. The location is very convenient for travelers, close enough to downtown, green spaces, the train station, and the airport.

The hotel proved to be an excellent choice for our stay in Valencia, offering both a convenient location and good value for money. After researching several options in the area, we selected the Eurostars Gran as it best matched our budget and provided easy walking access to the main attractions and activities we wished to explore.
The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, including allowing us to store our luggage upon arriving early. The room, while compact, was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was also a welcome addition and provided a great start to the day before further sightseeing around the city.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would gladly recommend this hotel to others visiting Valencia, as well as consider staying there again in the future.

Decent location, cafe's and local supermarkets nearby, birds eye view of the new Valencia FC stadium, very friendly front desk staff, all English speaking, spacious rooms, immaculately cleaned, comfortable beds, clean toilet with sliding door, spacious shower, with large rainfall shower, hot and cold water. The hotel is pretty much 10-15 minutes from everything, shopping centres, historic areas, the beach, plentiful public transport nearby as well.

I recently stayed there for two nights. Big and nice rooms, decent gym and very courteous reception. Highly recommended!

We had a superior room. They let us check in early which is a bonus point already. Hotel appears new or recently refurbished and we loved the decor throughout. Rooms were clean, and very effective Aircon. Bathroom was a good size and well equipped. The bar was very nice and we were in there every day. Fantastic hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent: a quiet, green neighborhood with plenty of cafés, a large shopping mall, supermarket, metro access, and a beautiful city beach just across the road. Unlike the busy city center, the area is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh and delicious food, great coffee, and a wide variety of fruits. The rooftop pool and bar were a highlight of our stay, offering breathtaking views of the entire city. What impressed us most was the exceptional cleanliness. We have stayed in many hotels, but rarely have we seen such a high standard. The room and bathroom were spotless, everything was shining, and housekeeping kept everything perfect every day.
The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the minibar was especially convenient for grabbing cold water before heading to the beach. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, we were impressed by the comfort, cleanliness, service, amazing views, and peaceful atmosphere. A perfect place for a truly relaxing stay, and we would gladly return.

My son broke his pelvis 3 days before we were supposed to check in. I reached out to the hotel the day before once we realised that we would not make it in time to try to postpone our stay by a couple of days or cancel if we could not postpone. They outright said that there are no cancellations or modifications allowed, even with a medical certificate and scans showing his broken pelvis.
I understand how policies work but having a little bit of humanity and understanding for a family in a difficult situation would be nice.

Great location but all the rest was quite disappointing.
Rooms are super small and no wardrobe or space to hide your staff . There is no free water, tee in the room . Only overpriced drinks.
Breakfast was good but service super slow and some days people were waiting in long line to have breakfast.
Restaurant is ok to have dinner
Pool on the roof is small but has warm water . But sauna was always cold even when we asked to heat it for the evening.
Parviz Hajiyev★★★★☆
The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed that there was no kettle, tea, or coffee provided in the room. When I asked the staff for a cup of tea, I was advised to go to a nearby market and buy it myself, which was not the level of service I expected from a hotel. Overall, a good stay, but the guest amenities and service could be improved.

Overall we had a good stay but I felt the rooms, amenities and services on offer were more of a 3* hotel.
Pros- The staff were friendly, and the lobby and bar/restaurant area are nicely decorated and well kept.
- The pool was supposed to open mid June for the summer season but the May weather was so warm they opened it earlier. Nice patio area to relax outside.
- Room was quiet, and bed was comfortable.
-Location was great, we could easily access the old town, and all sightseeing spots. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area, and 2 supermarkets close by.
Cons-The rooms were tired, and no basic amenities like most 4* hotels would provide. No kettle or coffee machine. Complimentary water in fridge but we didn't get this refilled everyday. No amenities (such as cotton wool, shower cap etc) in bathroom, but a small note saying you can ask for bathroom essentials at reception. For the additional money paid to stay at a 4* it would be nice to have at least tea or coffee available in the rooms as a gesture of hospitality. Even in the lobby you have to pay to use a Nespresso machine, only water is complimentary. It was a contrast to another hotel we passed by (also 4*) that had a full tea/coffee/juice stand available for all guests.
- Housekeeping was spotty, when we arrived we found layers of dust over the bedside lamp areas, and hair in the shower. Little details were overlooked We got a different amount of towels each time, and the complimentary water wasn't always refilled. The shampoo and shower gel was also running out and wasn't refilled our whole stay so obviously wasn't checked.
- We asked for a iron, which was provided, but no ironing board. We made do, but it was awkward and the iron kept leaking.
- Information for bar menus, restaurant timings etc are all mainly through QR codes, which we were fine with but could be a struggle for those less tech friendly.
We had friends doing an apartment stay nearby and they were provided drinks, snacks and full bathroom amenities. We paid substantially more than them, and booked in advance and had less gestures of hospitality.
Overall an ok stay, and great location but definitely not to the standard and cost expected for a 4*.

Overall a big shoutout to Aida, such a lovely member of staff, super helpful and welcoming.
Regarding the hotel I think it is far from a 4 star hotel, it’s a 3 star hotel at most. We had issues with the toilet flush not flushing, the lifts literally all not working and faulty. Opening hours of the pool only between 11am-7pm which I think could be extended, parking isn’t free you need to pay €16 per day, the reception and hotel has a fishy smell. The rooms are also very outdated. On our last day we had to walk through our corridor to Illunion hotel 3 in order to take a lift down to the lobby because the lifts weren’t working in Illunion 4!
Kate Morris★★★☆☆
The hotel is very is ideally located and within walking distance of the metro and tram. This is our second time here and we were slightly disappointed. There was no storage for clothes in the room and we overlooked a building sight. The restaurant food was very hit and miss and we were served cold chicken and vegetables which we had to back twice and still charged. Overall the staff were very attentive and helpful. The pool is nice but very small for such a large clientele.

This is easily the best hotel in Valencia. After losing my AirPods, Aida and Leslie travelled up and down the hotel looking for them and finally found them and got it to me. The most hospitable people you could meet

Good service by Beatrix
We were promised an upgrade before our arrival, but when we checked in, the hotel was completely overbooked. Beatrix gave us a nice welcome and was very helpful with the situation. Despite the overbooking, she made sure we still got the upgrade in the end. We had to pay an extra charge for it, which was totally understandable and fine with us. Thanks to Beatrix for handling everything so well.

Rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean, more functional than fancy. The mini-fridge is nice to have, especially if you want to keep a couple of beverages cold. The bathrooms are adequate, although amenities are kept to a minimum absent special requests. The hotel offers a good breakfast buffet. The rooftop space can be lovely, whether for drinks, to use the (small) pool, or just for views of the city. The hotel's location in Nuevo Centro is terrific, because metro and bus stops are close by and the mall offers a variety of food and shopping options. (The grocery store in the nearby el Corte Ingles is a great place to get snacks and beverages to keep in the room.) Other shops, restaurants, and tourist areas are within a short walk.
Jay Bilimoria★★★★★
This hotel stay was very pleasant! It’s in a great location if you like shopping! The service was very good. We were there celebrating my wife’s birthday and prior to staying I asked if they could do anything. The front desk did say that since her birthday was on a public holiday, they would be limited to what they could do. Nonetheless they delivered a lovely chocolate tart treat with a lovely birthday message.
Thank you to all the staff who made the stay special and comfortable.
Bradley Young★★★★★
Super clean and (looks like) recently renovated rooms.
Early check in available (we were lucky).
Pool area great with awesome views. Shame the pool shuts at 8pm.
Good bar area and very friendly staff. Spent our last day by the pool before flying and fully relaxed.
Food and drink prices more expensive than what you can buy outside but you can't go wrong with local wine.
Location is 15minute stroll to old town and close by to the metro. Easy enough to and from airport.
A little closer to town would be preferred for us but that said it is worth it for the rooftop pool and views.

Very good hotel.
Service is good.
Rooms are a bit cozy.
Very busy as its next to shopping center.
The areas needs improvement are.
1. Better lifts.
2. Water fountain on all floors not only on couple of floors.
3. Separate check in desk and separate desk for already checked in customers. You need to wait in a long queue even if you need a quick help as in house guest.
4. Elisa was outstanding in helping me with my upgrade and rebooking for extended stay. Thanks to her.
5. Roof top bar is exceptional.
Enjoy the gallery.
Maryam0992★★★★☆
Decent sized rooms in a quiet location, but well connected.
There’s a mall right behind it, a metro station just down the road, and the center is about 10 minutes by car.
There’s rooms were spotless, and even their public facing toilets were kept very clean.
Price is justifiable; I do not recommend getting the breakfast package if you like eating a good breakfast lol. Valencia has no shortage of cafes, the breakfast truly left a lot to desire.
And nothing is labelled at the breakfast buffet??? Yes I understand I have eyes, and I can ascertain what most things are, but what about allergies? There are some things you just don’t know about. Outside of the Middle East, I don’t expect to see what I ASSUME BECAUSE IT WASNT LABELLED was Date Molasses.
Horrible breakfast.
The staff are extremely attentive, well trained and amiable though.

No warm water!
They answered quick and told me to take 3 items from the minibar since they are “fully booked” and don’t want me to change the room. Funny that booking displayed they had 4 rooms of this category plus other rooms left the day before… Very sure they get this message regularly and have a standard procedure.
More funny that I didn’t even have a minibar!
A request to reimburse a part of my room rate since they can’t provide a room with hot water was denied in a very unprofessional way sending a 🙂 smiley saying that the temperature may drop slightly when a lot of people are using it at the same time. Not only they didn’t Take my complaint serious…they even tried to make fun of me!
Definetly not coming back!
Any problem will not be taken serious! One of the most unprofessional places I’ve visited

Overall, we had a decent stay at Hotel Turia Valencia.
Pros:
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The location is convenient for visiting the Old Town, although it is about a 20-minute walk, which can feel quite long in Valencia’s summer heat. The hotel is also next to the main bus station, which can be very convenient for travellers, and there is a metro station and a shopping centre nearby.
Cons:
The area around the bus station felt a bit uncomfortable in the evenings, with some people loitering nearby, so we didn’t always feel completely comfortable walking around the hotel after dark.
The biggest downside was the lack of a refrigerator in the room. During our stay, temperatures reached 38°C, so any drinks became warm very quickly, making it impossible to keep anything cold.
The air conditioning could also be improved. It felt more like a fan than proper air conditioning, as we could only adjust the fan speed and not the temperature, so the room never became as cool as we expected.
The balcony was extremely small, with not even enough space for a chair and for two people to enjoy sitting outside.
The soundproofing was also poor. We could hear toilets flushing in neighbouring rooms, conversations, and even our neighbour using an electric shaver every morning, which affected our sleep.
Overall, the hotel has some positive aspects, especially the spacious, clean rooms and the breakfast, but improving the soundproofing, installing mini fridges, and upgrading the air conditioning would significantly enhance the guest experience.
Alexander Lortkipanidze★★★★☆
A solid 4 star hotel. Spacious rooms with basic supplies for everyday needs. Didn’t had a chance to photo the rooms, but it is what it is on the photos. I didn’t quite like the price vs location factor. They charged 250 Euros, whereas there are much better priced hotels in city centre (we had fire evacuation nearby Valencia city and had to book this hotel asap). The views from hotel didn’t live up to expectations and money, too. My room had an issue with conditioning- it worked, but couldn’t cool the temperature. I liked their service, the staff were attentive. Their breakfast is also tasty, represented by a slightly more variety of food, than the hotel we stayed before. But their orange juice machine is the bestselling product at site. All in all, a positive experience with an overpriced stay.
RaNDa ELAwady★★☆☆☆
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one.
The hotel itself is good. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately, customer service completely ruined my stay.
I arrived around 11:00 AM and fully understood that check-in was subject to availability. However, I ended up waiting approximately 5 hours. During that time, guests who arrived much later than me were accommodated before me, while I received no clear communication or consideration.
What was even more disappointing was the attitude of the reception staff. When I politely asked for their names, I was told that it was “none of my business.” I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels around the world, and I have never experienced such an unprofessional response. In most hotels, staff members wear name tags and are accountable for how they treat guests.
My stay was only for one night, and losing most of my day waiting because of poor communication and unprofessional behavior was extremely frustrating.
A hotel is not only about clean rooms and good prices. Respect, professionalism, and customer service matter just as much. Sadly, despite the quality of the hotel itself, I would not choose to stay here again.
Daniel Elwell★★★★☆
Rooms a little dated - could do with modernising, but otherwise well maintained and very clean. In fact the rooms are actually quite large compared to comparable hotels. Staff friendly and helpful. Public areas of the hotel pleasant and much more modern than the rooms themselves. Good location - next to the Turia park and the metro. Air conditioning worked really well! I'd stay here again.

We had a long weekend in Valencia and enjoyed our three nights stay in Vincci Mercat very much. Seldom do you feel so warmly welcomed to a new hotel in a new destination. All the staff at the reception were exceptionally nice and professional and we got a lovely welcome surprise in our room from Guest experience manager Nuria.
The breakfast was good, well stocked with different options and the personnel took good care that there was enough to choose from all the time. It was almost too easy to stuff yourself with the delicious options 🙂 The pool are is very small, but suitable for a city hotel, good for a dip in a hot day, and the staff and service on the rooftop was also great.
We want to recommend this hotel in the city center, easy access to the heart of the city with restaurants, bars, shops and more.
Thank you all for making our stay really memorable. We'll be back.

We had service issues at a hotel in Valencia so needed to find another hotel quickly and Vincci Merkat stood head and shoulders above anything else.
When we arrived we were greeted by 2 wonderful receptionists who provided us with a lovely smile and warm welcome, a far cry from what we previously experienced!
The hotel is in a perfect spot for you to visit the old town, the market is just 5 minutes away! But it is also situated in a location where you can also wonder into the more modern shopping district - the best of both worlds!
Every member of staff went over and above to make our stay so very special. The rooms were lovely with comfortable beds, a well thought out bathroom with a rainfall shower with the option of a hand held shower and his and hers sinks! After a day of touring you’ll also appreciate a cool dip in the roof top pool and a glass of something cold from the bar.
We will return to Valencia again as there’s so much to do and Vincci Merkat will be the place we stay, not just because of the location, the beautiful rooms, great rooftop pool & bar but because the staff are more like caring friends who want to make your stay the best they can!

Amazing stay in this hotel!!! Our flight got delayed and staff member/manager messaged us and stayed in touch to make sure our room was ready and available straight away on our arrival the next day. All staff members were very friendly, polite and helpful.

Great location of the hotel as well with walkable distances to all attractions.
We loved our stay from the minute we arrived until we left. We are very pleased and would definitely go back and recommend this hotel. Thank you! 😊

Our family had a great stay at this hotel in February this year. The location is in the centre of the old city, with easy access to public transport and all the highlights of the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful, including the breakfast staff. The ladies at reception are extremely knowledgeable - there was no need to visit the Tourist Office!
The rooms were clean with luxury toiletries and modern showers. The breakfasts offered a very wide choice of fresh dishes. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

A special thank you goes to Davide at the reception. My girlfriend and I wanted to visit a hairdresser, and despite the short notice, Davide did everything he could to arrange an appointment for us on the very same day. That level of dedication and personal service is something you don’t come across every day.
The combination of comfortable rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding customer service made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend Hotel Axel Valencia to anyone visiting Valencia. A real gem and definitely worth a stay!

Hands off to Davide I hope I’m writing his name right. He is not only cute 😍 he is super friendly, informative and professional. I truly loved my experience. My room was a corner unit that had 6 windows 😍 so it’s beautiful to see parts of the city as a background. A nice layout, EVERYTHING in the room and outside smells clean and NEW. The SPA is a 💎. I’ll be back! Kudos to Davide🔥🔥🔥 a smile after walking miles under the sun it’s very refreshing!

Very charming hotel. The staff are super kind. The woman serving cocktails and singing in the bar is amazing. My only tiny issue with the room is that the knob/hooks to hang the towels are too small. The towels always fall to the floor, never drying. Easy fix.

The beds are so insanely comfortable!! The air conditioner was noisy though which prevented me from sleeping deeply and the door security is concerning. But wow if you can get a quiet secure room with THAT mattress!!! Bliss.

Great location to explore Valencia. Room was nicely furnished and spacious. Free walking tours offered by the hotel. A super introduction to Valencia in a small group. Pablo was our guide and shared his knowledge in a fun and interesting way. He was keen to answer our questions. I really recommend the tour. All the staff on reception were helpful and can offer advice and book tickets etc. Thank you.

We picked this place because it was a good price and a relatively short walk (12 min) from the Joaquin Soralla train station in Valencia, in a nice neighborhood near the center. The staff were very friendly and gave us good recommendations on places to eat and shop nearby. The bed was very comfortable .. perfect for recovery from international travel. They even contacted us after we left behind an airplane gift toiletries bag to see if we wanted it.. very responsible. Highly recommend.

The staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean, and the bed was large and comfy. The street is quite calm so we slept well even though our window was towards the street. The location of the hotel is good: central enough to allow walking to the old town and to the trendy Russafa area. All in all great price-quality ratio.

Great place. Small-ish room but very adequate, very clean and modern. Excellent price. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a short stay in Valencia. Location not an issue if you are travelling across Valencia sightseeing as you can't be ideally located for everything. Public transport was great to get about.

We stayed 6 days and everything was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room and the bathroom were always clean, very quiet place. The hotel is 20 mins away from the Old Centre and even nearer from the bus stations (there is one bus - 11, that leaves you in front of the hotel, but it is only during the working days). We chose the breakfast as well, which was more than enough for each of us - very good.

What a lovely place to stay. I cannot fault this hotel, staff were friendly, attentive and so helpful! Room was lovely, clean and the location is perfect for exploring the city. We went out one evening when it was raining and the reception staff insisted on finding us umbrellas before we left, they went above and beyond to be helpful.
Thank you for a lovely stay 😊
Tips for Visiting Bioparc Valencia
To make the most of your visit to Bioparc Valencia, a little advance planning goes a long way. The park is designed to be explored at a leisurely pace, and understanding its layout and peak times will help you avoid frustration. Here are some essential tips to ensure a smooth and memorable experience.
- Buy Tickets Online in Advance: The ticket queues at the entrance can be long, especially on weekends and during school holidays. Purchasing your tickets online not only saves you time but often provides a small discount compared to the gate price.
- Arrive at Opening Time: Animals are generally most active in the cooler morning hours before the midday heat sets in. Arriving early allows you to see the gorillas, lions, and lemurs during feeding times and when they are most playful.
- Plan for the Heat: Valencia is very hot in the summer. Bring refillable water bottles, wear sunscreen, and utilize the shaded pathways and air-conditioned viewing areas within the park. The park has drinking fountains where you can top up your water.
- Don’t Miss the Baobab Forest: While the gorillas and elephants are the headline acts, the underwater viewing of hippos in the Baobab Forest is spectacular. Check the schedule for the educational talks to learn more about the conservation efforts.
- Explore the Turia Gardens: Bioparc is located within the Turia Gardens, a 9-kilometer park that runs through the city. After leaving the zoo, take a stroll through the gardens. You can rent a bike or simply walk toward the city center along this beautiful green belt.
Finding the right hotel near Bioparc Valencia allows you to experience the best of both worlds: the immersive wildlife of the park and the vibrant culture of the city. Staying in this neighborhood offers a relaxing reprieve from the dense tourist crowds while keeping you perfectly connected to everything Valencia has to offer.
Whether you choose a luxury resort-style hotel or a practical family apartment, your proximity to the park will make your itinerary feel effortless. Enjoy the unique opportunity to walk among the animals at Bioparc and return to a comfortable, welcoming space just minutes away.
