10 Halal Restaurants near the Arc de Triomphe

Finding a genuinely good meal in one of Paris’s most tourist-heavy districts can be surprisingly difficult. The area surrounding the Arc de Triomphe is famous for luxury boutiques and grand boulevards, but it is also filled with overpriced tourist traps that rarely reflect the true quality of French cuisine.

For Muslim travelers, residents, and food lovers who adhere to halal dietary laws, the search requires an extra layer of diligence. You want to know that the meat is certified, the preparation is respectful, and the flavor is authentic without compromising on the ambiance of the City of Light.

Fortunately, the landscape has changed dramatically over the last decade. A new wave of sophisticated halal restaurants has emerged in the upscale 8th, 16th, and 17th arrondissements, offering everything from high-end French gastronomy to mouth-watering Levantine grills and North African tagines.

You no longer have to choose between a convenient location near the Champs-Élysées and a delicious, fully halal meal. Whether you are looking for a quick gourmet burger after climbing the Arc, a business lunch, or a romantic dinner, the options are more diverse than ever.

This guide focuses on quality, service, and authenticity. We have evaluated the menus, the sourcing of ingredients, and the overall dining experience to bring you a list of establishments that stand out in this prestigious neighborhood.

Whether you are a local looking for a new favorite spot or a visitor wanting to combine sightseeing with incredible food, these venues offer the best of both worlds. Here are the top halal restaurants located within easy walking distance or a short drive from the Arc de Triomphe.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience. As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after. The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place. Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins. On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

This is one of the most beautiful indian Restaurant in Paris, right next to the Arc de Triomphe. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance, the food quality is excellent, and the staff are very well-behaved. I went there with my family for dinner in the evening. Although there were other customers at different tables, they gave us proper attention and served our food on time. Their butter chicken and chicken tikka biryani are of very high quality.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Noura Marceau. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We especially loved the kebab meat, the shish tawook chicken, the Turkish coffee, and the zaatar and cheese manakish—everything was fresh and full of flavor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic Lebanese food in Paris. We will definitely come back!

We were visiting Paris for the first time and while we are walking around the area of the Eiffel Tower we found this restaurant… coming from the Middle East myself I was excited to eat Lebanese food and the place did not disappoint me … the decor was very nice, the staff were very welcoming and the cherry on the top was the food … it was authentic Lebanese cuisine perfected by their chef … absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend it

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional service and hospitality. I arrived while fasting, and the staff were incredibly considerate and accommodating. They kindly prioritized my order and had the food ready in less than 5 minutes so I could break my fast on time. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Their kindness and attention to customers truly made the experience special. A big thank you to the entire team especially Samir and Elie . I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning! 😊🙏🍽️

Famished after a busy day of trekking around Paris and not willing to settle, we stumbled into Nora Marceau ready to eat. We were treated to prompt, welcoming service despite the busy dinner rush, and were served by a professional staff happy to accommodate English-speaking Americans. We enjoyed the Hummus Beiruti, Lebonese Tabouleh, Houromi platter, and some exceptional Falafel, alongside generous complimentary pita and pickled olives. We left nothing on our plates, as everything was excellent, and each dish was some of the best we'd ever had of its kind. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the service was second-to-none. Worth your vacation dollars!
Iris Cuypers★★★☆☆
Not my cup of tea. They do have some vegan options. However, the food I got tasted so bland. There was almost no flavour. Even the falafel was super dry and hard to swallow. I don't really recommend it. The place is stunning tho. I loves the vibe and the whole place! People were super friendly and helped me choose vegan options. However they were constantly in your nose too. Asking a bit too many questions and I prefer to be left by myself when eating. They didn't bring ons of the drinks we ordered and did put it on the tab but they immediately fixed it when we told them. So overall not my cup of tea. Not my type of food. Very bland. Gorgeous building and very friendly staff but sometimes a bit much. If bland food is more your thing, this place will definitely be good for you!

Had this place twice during a two night trip in paris as it was very close to our hotel and the food was at a very affordable price for the size of the portions you get. On our first visit i ordered a French taco which was tasty but I have had better in Switzerland but for the price you cant complain and all,the food is halal. The second visit I had ordered two pizzas and again both were very tasty abd were set at a very good price. Would recommend to everyone in the local area

Very Good Experience at Hadramaout Restaurant in Paris. We visited hadramaout Yemeni restaurant in Paris for dinner. We were group of nine people, no booking was made as it was last minute decision. We ordered five Mandi portions , 2 lamb and 3 chicken Mandi which was enough for 9 people. Mandi was severed with two sauces which really complimented the Mandi. Food taste was really good, rice was flavoured, chicken and lamb was tasteful. If you are concerned about your budget, don’t order starter / drinks / sweets at this restaurant as these items are quite expensive. Restaurant serve water without any charge. There is no parking available nearby so better to visit this area by bus or metro.

Served halal food near by rue de champs... Not far from Arc of Triumph. Golden jewel for who look forward Yemeni food with variety of choices... If you don't know how to order, the waiter is superb to assist... Just tell how many person and boom the meal is served....

Loved the chicken here, it was so juicy and tender. We ordered a curry Poulet which came with two sides and the salad. The menu was halal and the server was very courteous and entertained us in English.

I love this place. Their food is very delicious and every time I come to France, I drive straight out to this place to eat there. Mix plates are so full and you can even share as the portions are very big. It’s almost like a mom and Pop store so the service is very good. The place is clean and comfortable seating.

Turkish kebab spot that gives generous portions. Came here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing and we wanted to grab something to eat back in our hotel. They do have seating available. Credit cards and cash accepted. The kebabs come with fries on the side and a tasty sauce. They do have vegetarian options (falafel).

How to Choose the Right Halal Restaurant Near the Arc de Triomphe

Before you book a table or walk in, it helps to know how to navigate the local dining scene. While the venues listed above are known for their quality, the standards can vary, and the definition of "halal" sometimes requires personal verification based on your specific dietary requirements. The following tips will help you dine with confidence and avoid disappointment in this bustling area of Paris.

Verify the Certification Level
Not all halal restaurants in Paris are certified by the same authorities. Some display certificates from the Grande Mosquée de Paris, while others use independent certifiers like AVS or ARGML. If strict certification is important to you, do not hesitate to ask the staff to see their certificate or inquire about their meat supplier before ordering.

Book Ahead for Dinner Service
The area around the Arc de Triomphe is busy year-round, but especially during peak tourist seasons and fashion weeks. The best halal restaurants in the 8th and 16th arrondissements often have small dining rooms that fill up quickly. Reserving a table 24 to 48 hours in advance is highly recommended, particularly for weekend dinners.

Look Beyond the "Tourist Menu"
Many restaurants near the Champs-Élysées offer set menus designed for tourists that may not reflect the chef’s best work. To experience the true quality of a halal kitchen, look at the à la carte options or ask the server what the chef recommends. Often, the daily specials (plats du jour) are fresher and more authentic than the fixed tourist offerings.

Confirm the Alcohol Policy
Halal dining standards regarding alcohol vary significantly between restaurants. Some high-end halal venues in Paris serve alcohol to cater to a broader clientele, while others maintain a strictly non-alcoholic environment. If this is a concern for your comfort or religious observance, check the menu online or call ahead to clarify the policy.

Consider the Walking Distance and Terrain
While the Arc de Triomphe is a central landmark, some restaurants listed may be a 15- to 20-minute walk away. Paris sidewalks can be tiring, especially after a day of sightseeing. Check the exact location on a map and consider using the Metro (Line 1 or 2) or a short taxi ride to reach your dining destination comfortably.

The dining scene around the Arc de Triomphe proves that halal food has firmly established its place in the Parisian culinary landscape. No longer limited to casual takeout spots, halal cuisine here spans the full spectrum from fine dining to hearty street food, all within view of one of the world’s most famous monuments. By choosing wisely and planning ahead, you can enjoy a meal that satisfies both your palate and your principles in the heart of Paris.
