Paris is a city that lives up to its reputation. The moment you step onto its cobblestone streets, you are surrounded by a blend of history, art, and energy that is impossible to replicate anywhere else in the world. For many travelers, the dream is not just to see the Eiffel Tower, but to wake up to its shimmering lights.
However, the 7th arrondissement and the surrounding golden triangle are notorious for luxury price tags. Many visitors assume that a view of the Iron Lady requires a five-star budget, but that is a myth. The French capital is filled with hidden gems that offer comfort and proximity without draining your savings.
Understanding the layout of Paris is the key to finding value. The neighborhoods surrounding the Eiffel Tower, such as Grenelle, Passy, and parts of the 15th arrondissement, are primarily residential. This means you can find quiet, safe, and affordable accommodations just a short stroll from the main attraction.
Staying slightly off the main avenue doesn’t mean sacrificing convenience. The Paris Metro system is incredibly efficient, connecting these budget-friendly districts to the Tower in minutes. You can trade a few steps for significant savings on your nightly rate, allowing you to spend more on croissants and museum passes.
We have analyzed countless guest reviews, location scores, and price points to bring you the best value stays. This list focuses on properties that offer clean, comfortable rooms and authentic Parisian charm. You do not need to compromise on safety or cleanliness to stay on a budget.
Whether you are a solo backpacker, a couple on a romantic getaway, or a family looking to maximize their vacation fund, there is an option for you. These hotels and aparthotels prove that location and affordability can coexist. You can be sipping coffee within sight of the Champ de Mars without breaking the bank.
Here are the best budget-friendly hotels near the Eiffel Tower that deliver exceptional value.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. First of all, the hotel feels quite old. The elevator is extremely small; even the two of us with cabin-size suitcases could barely fit inside, and it also made some concerning noises that did not give us much confidence.
While my husband and I were having a normal conversation in our room at a normal speaking volume, the guests in the next room complained about the noise and called reception. Reception then warned us. However, I find it completely unacceptable that we were the ones being warned simply because of the hotel’s inadequate soundproofing. It is perfectly natural to speak to my husband in a normal voice while on vacation, and I should not have to whisper in my own hotel room.

This hotel is at a very good location.
Rooms are small but very clean.
One thing missing is a kettle in the room.
It's a basic requirement. If possible please provide it, makes it even a better experience

Great hotel! We were upgraded to a king size room free of charge which was a huge plus! The location is excellent, super safe zone with lots of cafes and bakeries and the Eiffel tower is super close by! The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful!

A very good and pleasant hotel for the price, great location and a nice view from the window. The girl at the reception (I didn’t catch her name, she had Asian features) was very smiley and positive, and truly a lovely staff member. She did everything to make our first visit to Paris pleasant and unforgettable 🙂 thank you

Unfortunately the Hotel is not good , walls are thin , beds make you itch no free water, no toothpaste/brushes. reception staff are not very friendly. No mini fridge /kettle in the room. The building itself is beautiful reminds me of the Marie Antoinette era . Location is also ideal literally around the corner from the Eiffel tower. Sidebar it's 2025 can we supply international guests options of power sockets.

Good hotel. Just a few mins from Pigalle and Blanche metros so you can go anywhere from here. Lots of boulangeries and super markets nearby as well. The rooms were a bit smaller than expected but that's just Paris in general.
I definitely recommend this place for the price point it's at. The rooms were clean and the service was good

Good value for money. We had a couple issues with a malfunctioning safe and a TV remote that didn’t work but other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful where they could help. Great location, too, especially if you don’t necessarily need to stay in Le Marais. Quick métro ride away from Gare du Nord and easy to access Montmartre, Opéra, St Lazare, and the rest of the 9th.

A great little room with lovely views of the area.
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Our only minor criticism was that the pillows were a bit hard.
I would definitely stay again.

Rooms are very very small.
Shower stall awkward to climb into and again, extremely small.
We were there on the first hottest weekends of the spring, the city was blazing hot, and none of the rooms had A/C.
We were there on a weekend (3 nights when arsenal played Paris SG) even though Paris won, the city made international news when vandals destroyed everything in sight and the no sleep was had due to the noise.
The king size bed we asked for was two single beds pushed together and split apart when we moved around.
Convenient to a nice area, but seek a larger room, for yourself, your companion and your luggage.

Repent, sinners! If you do not, you shall end up in this godforsaken place, where souls are trapped in the tiniest cells ever conjured by a malevolent Djinn from a far and burning desert. Known as "The Gates of Hell Hotel", this place has everything, if you are looking for nothing.
You will slowly lose your sanity and begin to question every choice that led you here, as you sweat through the endless night. There is no AC. You will not be woken by the sweet aroma of buttery croissants, but by the stench rising from your own scorched flesh.
Those who endure this trial will either reach enlightenment, or require intense palliative care.
Do not be foolish. Do not cling to hope. You may believe that opening a window will bring relief. It will not. You will merely trade degrees of heat for the relentless racket of the city below. Every time you close your eyes, a drunk soul will cry out into the darkness. Every time sweet sleep finally takes you, a delivery truck will honk its wretched horn.
Are those sirens drawing near? Are they coming to save you at last?
They are not.
You are alone. The evil sealed within these walls is older and stronger than you. It has broken better souls than yours.
Flee. While there is still time.

Perfect rooms for stay in paris if you are a tourist, metro connectivity is very close and eiffel tour is in walkable distance, money wise , connectivity wise, its a great choice. Rooms are bit smaller but we were roaming around and came only to stay at night so it felt convinient. MR.VADIM was really helpfull and polite , safety wise also its best option and you have plenty of food options close by in walkable distance even after watching effiel tower lightings at midnight you can come easily to room by walk. Best option for tourists.
Florentine Gruber★★★☆☆
The rooms are very small, just big enough big to open your suitcase. Don’t book during summer. The rooms don’t have an AC so it gets very hot. Windows can be opened but it’s load outside until 2/3am in the night - also during the week.
The location is good, close to the metro and Eifel tower. Staff is also friendly.
Bad value for price ratio

Only good thing about the hotel is the location and Thierry who is in the reception. Rest all is useless. They have a lift which never works. No air conditioning and the fan provided is useless. Rooms are super tiny. Overall we did not enjoy our stay at all.

Book it if there are places available!
Everyone is used to their own level of comfort, of course, but for the money this is the best service and quality. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and responsive. Perfect location — there’s a supermarket nearby with all the food you need, the tower is a 20-minute walk away, and the metro is just 2 minutes away. Go for it!

Hôtel Beaugrenelle Saint-Charles is perfectly located in a beautiful part of the city, with easy access to the metro and plenty of great bakeries, bars, and restaurants nearby. TERRIFYING EXPERIENCE: Illegal Break-In Attempt by Aggressive Hotel Staff
We suffered severe mental trauma during our stay that made us feel no longer safe and fleed this hotel earlier than planned. I strongly WARN anyone AGAINST staying here if you value your personal safety, privacy, and basic human rights.
During our stay, an unidentified man violently pounded on our door, aggressively demanding entry close to midnight. Of course we hesitated to open it, trying to communicate through the door first. Due to his limited English, the only phrase he repeated was "Reception, open the door please," utterly failing to provide any explanation. Rather than utilising a simple translation app to bridge the communication gap, he continuously and aggressively punched our door. Ironically, this hotel has advertised that English is spoken at reception. As two female guests who had just showered and were not even fully dressed, we felt incredibly vulnerable and terrified by this aggressive behavior. We repeatedly asked why he needed to enter and warned we will call police , but he resorted to insults, and yelled at us “Are you crazy?”
The nightmare escalated into a completely unlawful act when he returned with a hotel master key and attempted to force his way into our room without our consent. Adding to our absolute panic, the hotel room doors do not even have internal security locks or deadbolts. We had to physically push the door together with our own bodies desperately while we waiting for the police.
It was only when the police arrived that we discovered this aggressive person was actually the night receptionist, and that there was a water leak from our room to the lobby downstairs. However, this DOES NOT justify the violent pounding, refusal to communicate, verbal insults, threats, and attempting to break in. Also I believe this is not how an incident should be handled by a professional hotel staff. He didn't try to explain this situation and try change our room first before he wants to come in to two females guest's room around midnight.
Shockingly, in our subsequent email correspondence, the hotel management attempted to excuse his actions. They claimed the night staff was acting "within the scope of his duties" to limit property damage, blatantly dismissing this terrifying ordeal as a mere "lack of professionalism."
I am absolutely appalled that a legitimate hotel would make excuses this after being shown video evidence of this terrifying incident. Forcing entry into a guest's room without consent is ILLEGAL in any countries !!!! Even the responding police officers acknowledged that the receptionist's behavior was grounds for arrest.
It leaves me wondering if this hotel actually has any sort of comprehension of French law or even basic common sense of protecting guest's safety. The receptionist's aggression and illegal actions were abhorrent and have severely impacted our mental well-being and the remainder of our travel plans. Even after leaving Paris, we are haunted by the sheer panic of someone breaking into our room. We never want to return to France because of the mental trauma caused by this hotel.
Shuyu Zhao★☆☆☆☆
We had a very serious safety incident during our stay. Late at night, around 10:40 PM, a hotel staff member aggressively pounded on our room door and demanded that we open it. He did not clearly explain the reason, and we felt unsafe.
The situation became worse when he used a hotel key and attempted to open our occupied room while we were inside. We had to physically hold the door shut and call the police. The police came to the hotel and told us that forcing entry into an occupied guest room in this way was illegal.
The hotel later claimed there was a water leak downstairs and that they needed to check our room. Even if there was a maintenance issue, this does not justify aggressively pounding on a guest’s door late at night, failing to clearly explain the situation, and attempting to enter the room without consent.
This was extremely frightening and unacceptable. We no longer felt safe staying at the property and had to check out. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who care about safety, privacy, and professional hotel management.

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and everything was spotless throughout my stay. The room was surprisingly spacious compared to many older Paris hotels and was consistently kept clean and tidy. The location was fantastic—close to the metro, numerous shops and restaurants, and even within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Location was good, room was clean. A fridge would have been helpful. Tea and coffee were available but only two small milks provided so it was either one coffee for two people or one each but very strong. We had long days with lots of walking and after dinner and a few drinks wanted to come back and chill but this was not possible as the TV was only for people that spoke French. Mostly french channels and unable to log into Netflix unless it was a french account. Couldnt log into amazon or any other service as this was blocked. Rooms are quite small as well and towels. Bed comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days. It was absolutely great, and everything went as planned. The room was a normal size with a modern design, a smart TV (which I've never seen in any hotel in any country), AC, and everything you need for your stay

Our stay at the Nouvel Hotel Eiffel was simply amazing, especially because we were celebrating Valentine’s Day. It was truly a 10/10 experience. We stayed in room 305 and everything was perfect.
I would like to especially highlight the reception staff, who were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help us with a smile. From the very first moment, they made us feel comfortable and appreciated.
But above all, I really want to emphasize the incredible work of one of the cleaning staff members. I don’t know her name, but she truly deserves recognition. She left our room absolutely spotless every single day, with impressive attention to detail and care. Honestly, she is the best hotel housekeeper I have ever experienced in my life.
Her attitude was warm, respectful, and highly professional. I sincerely hope the hotel management takes this review into account and congratulates her for the outstanding job she does, because she genuinely makes a difference and elevates the whole experience.
It was an unforgettable stay, and I would return to this hotel without hesitation, simply because of the exceptional treatment we received — especially from this amazing housekeeper and also from the reception team.
Thank you for making our Valentine’s Day in Paris so special. 🗼❤️

This place was a great pick for us, based on the location. It’s next to the metro, so it’s easy to travel around the city. It’s about 25 minutes from the Eiffel Tower and Louvre via metro. It’s very loud at night between the metro, streets, and the bars just outside, but I’m a very hard sleeper and slept through all of it. Theres are lots of great places to eat at within walking distance, I recommend BibimHouse for delicious Korean food, only about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Hôtel was old, but didn’t smell bad, our room was very clean.

Like a cheap hotel in 1977. With full 1977 decor. The rooms are a bit musty but they were very clean. Very no-frills. i.e. only shampoo and soap.
We got a twin room with two double beds. You can stand on the tiny balcony and smoke and watch the above ground metro. The location is excellent, very close to Leningrad and Jaurès metro stations. The latter is above ground, which is why it can be noisy in the room. The hotel staff were very friendly. I booked through their website.

Worst place ever. Close to the métro. Only the bed sheets and the towels were clean. Pretty much everything else stained, dirty. Very noisy. Wifi not secure, shared with McDonals downstairs as the woman at the desk told me. She became very defensive when I told her WiFi didn’t work, TV didn’t work. Deep sighing, rolling her eyes. It was my problem! The next day I found another hotel around the corner and went there. Was refused a refund for the room. I left a couple of clothes in that room and when I returned to pick them up they were gone! An argument with the desk person about me paying for a room and they remove my things! I have never had such a terrible place and staff and this place does not deserve even one star. The bathroom window broken, could not be closed.

It was a bad stay, the area is not safe, impossible to sleep, there were train ways right in front of my window, at night every two minutes i heard it even with window closed, very bad soundproofing, very loud outside, the curtains are very thin and light, at night it bothers to sleep as well

We stayed at Hotel France Eiffel for one night, and overall it was a decent experience, especially for a short stay.
The hotel has a traditional and slightly old-style feel, which gives it a classic charm, though it is quite basic in terms of facilities. One of the biggest advantages is its location—it’s just about a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, making it very convenient for sightseeing.
The rooms are quite small, so it may feel a bit compact, especially if you have more luggage. We had breakfast included with our stay; while the options were limited, it was acceptable considering the budget-friendly price.
Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable stay in a great location and don’t mind limited space and simple amenities, this hotel is a good option.

We stayed here for one week and ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. This hotel is absolutely amazing. We brought our children with us on a business trip and chose this hotel because of its convenient location, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
Every day, our kids could simply walk outside for a few minutes and enjoy the many restaurants, cafés, and nearby activities. The hotel is also right next to the metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around without needing taxis or Uber.
We had such a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our time here. A special thank you to Ares for the warm hospitality. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing you again soon!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was lively and relaxing at the same time.
What really made the trip special was how much fun we had during our stay. The food and drinks were excellent, and there were plenty of activities nearby to enjoy. Every evening felt like a little getaway within the getaway.
The location was also perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do, while still feeling peaceful and private. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable vacation. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Monoprix, and brasseries. There is a decent cafe nearby called Merci Jérôme.
Rooms were clean, and we appreciated the Clarins products and good shower pressure. However, our room was extremely cramped for 4 people, and I'd recommend checking this before booking. There was very limited room for suitcases, with only one luggage rack provided on request, and the 3 beds were practically up against the dressers. It would be a much better experience for a smaller number of guests with more room to move around.
The room was also missing modern amenities like two keys, USB charging ports, and hair conditioner. Turn down service was nice the first night but was not provided the second night, nor was the room cleaned despite requesting it.
Ol Ti★★★★★
Hotel Ares Eiffel left a very pleasant impression. We were traveling by car and managed to park right near the hotel, which is already a big advantage in Paris. The room cost 256 euros without breakfast. We stayed in room 14.
The room is definitely compact, but that is quite expected for Paris — people come here to explore the city, not to spend the whole day in the hotel. At the same time, the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay: slippers, a minibar, a safe, a kettle, a comfortable bed, and a good TV. What we especially appreciated was the excellent water pressure in the bathroom and the well-designed shower — no water leaking all over the floor after taking a shower, which often happens in smaller hotels.
The interior feels cozy and well-maintained, and the hotel itself has a charming Parisian atmosphere both outside and inside. The staff and the hotel owner were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help or give recommendations.
There is also a small parking area near the hotel. Parking is free overnight until 9:00 AM, and afterward it costs 24 euros for 2 hours, with a maximum of 48 euros for 6 hours.
For a short trip to Paris, this is a very good option with a convenient location and a comfortable atmosphere.
William Hankins★★★★★
Very comfortable rooms, spacious bathrooms, minibar with water and soda, slippers provided. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Be aware: this hotel does not allow guests to receive visitors in their room, even for just 30 minutes.
A guest should be able to enjoy their room and receive a friend or visitor for a short time if they wish. It's a disappointing policy.
The location is great, but this rule is unreasonable. I've never encountered this kind of policy at any other hotel !!!
Charmian Lee★☆☆☆☆
Extremely disappointing and uncomfortable stay. I genuinely dreaded returning to this hotel each night and would not recommend it.
One of the worst issues was the lack of privacy. Early one morning, while I was still sleeping, a cleaner entered my room unexpectedly. I had not placed the “Clean Room” sign on my door and had not requested housekeeping yet, so there was no reason for anyone to enter my room at that time. Waking up to someone unexpectedly entering the room while I was asleep was genuinely frightening and made me feel very uncomfortable about my privacy for the rest of the stay.
What made this worse was that on another day, I specifically placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, yet housekeeping was still banging/knocking on my door asking whether I wanted my room serviced. It was not even late in the day. If I wanted housekeeping, I would have put the “Clean Room” sign outside after leaving my room. I don't understand the point of providing a “Do Not Disturb” sign if it is not going to be respected.
There was also visible mould around one of the shower heads, and after I reported it, it took approximately two days for the issue to be addressed.
For clarity, the bathroom had two shower options: a larger overhead rainfall shower attached to the ceiling and a separate shower head. Fortunately, I was still able to shower using the other option. However, the shower itself was also faulty and extremely uncomfortable to use. The water did not flow properly from some sections and sprayed/splashed everywhere from others, making something as basic as taking a shower unnecessarily frustrating.
The room itself was extremely small, dusty and had an unpleasant smell. The window also did not close properly, which made me feel unsafe and concerned about the security of the room.
There were constant inconveniences throughout the stay. My room card repeatedly failed to work, and at one point I had to go up and down more than six times within just a few minutes because I could not access my own room and had to keep returning to reception. Combined with other issues that required repeated trips downstairs, this became incredibly tiring. The lift is also extremely small, making the constant trips even more frustrating and exhausting.
I also requested a travel adapter from the hotel, but the one provided did not work, resulting in even more unnecessary trips between my room and reception.
To be fair, the staff I interacted with were generally friendly, and my criticism is not about whether individual staff members were pleasant. The problem was the overall experience and the hotel's standards.
Between the mould around the shower head, faulty shower, a cleaner unexpectedly entering while I was asleep without a “Clean Room” request, a “Do Not Disturb” sign not being respected, a window that did not close properly, a dusty and unpleasant-smelling room, repeated key-card failures, extremely cramped conditions and a tiny lift, the stay was stressful and exhausting.
I genuinely dreaded coming back here each night. Friendly staff do not make up for problems involving cleanliness, privacy, security, maintenance and basic room access.
I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it. There are much better options in Paris.
Jayaliya Ishara★☆☆☆☆
This hotel is definitely not worth the money. The rooms are extremely small and had a bad smell. Even the elevator is tiny — it barely fits one person comfortably, and using it with luggage was very difficult.
One of the worst experiences happened on our last night. After a long day, we returned to the hotel around 12:30 AM because we had a flight the next day. While we were packing our bags, the electricity suddenly went out, which caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. Overall, the service was very poor and the stay was far from comfortable.
When we first arrived, we had to wait because we were slightly early for check-in. During that time, we heard a woman screaming and shouting inappropriate words, which created a very unpleasant atmosphere.
Another issue was that bedding bags were left in the veranda/corridor area, making it very difficult for us to walk through and move our luggage comfortably
The hotel description mentioned that an iron and bathroom slippers were available, but we had to go to reception and request them ourselves. After that, one of the staff members kept knocking on our door repeatedly asking for the iron back, which became very annoying.
The towels and bed linens also smelled bad and did not feel clean at all.
The only positive experience was on the morning of 25th May, when a new receptionist was on duty. He was kind, helpful, and even made us coffee, which we appreciated.
Other than that, our experience at this hotel was horrible, and I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed here for one night. When we arrived, there was no one at the reception. We stood waiting for about 20 minutes until we saw someone appear. No bell at the reception, nothing. I consider that a minus point. Put up a bell so you hear when guests have arrived. Eventually, there was a friendly man behind the counter. On the stairs leading upstairs, there was a vacuum cleaner with the cord still attached. Dangerous if you want to go up and down. Please clean this up immediately for the safety of your guests. The room was okay, only the bathroom door was damaged, but everything was there. Air conditioning. Good bed. And a bathroom. We also had breakfast. The woman standing there came with a tray. We didn't really know what she meant. I don't think she spoke English. The breakfast itself was substandard. Not much choice of meat, the hard-boiled eggs had been sitting there too long, and the rolls were too hard. This hotel is fine for one night. It is also only a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. However, I do not recommend this hotel for a longer stay.

Unlike a lot of negative reviews, I had a positieve experience with this hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The location is great, near a metro station (Dupleix) and the neighbourhood is quite calm. We stayed here for two nights and had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was small, but enough. It is airconditioned but we could not control the airco ourselves for some reason on the second day.

The staff was not very friendly, which is typical for a hotel in the heart of Paris. The location was excellent, given our short stay of only 30 hours in Paris during our European trip. The rooms were quite small, although they featured pictures of Eiffel Tower views. Unfortunately, from our rooms on this occasion, we could only see an office block.

So I only saw the google reviews when I was on my way to the hotel. Lots of bad reviews about staff behavior but I did not judge as the person who checked me in was very nice and professional. The night however was a different story. My colleague and I got back late from a work event and the hotel door was locked with no one in sight. A couple also arrived at the same time and we tried calling and knocking but no reply. Finally a person (told us his name was Karim) arrived, opened the door and walked away. No comment and no apology. Did not even look at us. When we asked him if there was a bell or buzzer he said yes and took us outside only to see there wasn’t one. He said he had gone up to his room. He looked a bit off and volatile. He also started getting very aggressive….raising his voice. Then he started askin for our room numbers…which I refused to give him. We went to our rooms and I felt very unsettled for the rest of the night.
The reason I give this hotel a 2 (honestly wanted to give it a 1) is not for the facilities….It was clean, basic and functional, But because they continue to retain staff that makes guests feel unsafe. This is not acceptable in the hospitality industry.
By no means is this a cultural misunderstanding. The person was rude, inappropriate and disrespectful to guests….and he works there at night.

The room is okay. And the location is good near the eiffel tower. But the guy who sit on the reception is looking little bit annoyed when I stand there to check in he just typed something on the computer and I wait for 3 4 minutes without saying hello!.. and the elevator is so bad I feel not safe with that..

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. The location is perfect — very close to everything, especially the Eiffel Tower. The receptionist, Yoovani, was amazing: always smiling, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. Special thanks as well to Pardeep, who works in the restaurant — he was incredibly kind and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are small. Stayed in Room 104. If I open the toilet door it hits the Bed. Toilet door doesn't close properly.
Service absent. Oversmart front desk man. Very irritatingly inert and robotic behaviour. Lady managing breakfast area was good. She was asian, did know what is service. Location 600m from Eiffel tower many restaurants around. Will I stay again? Not at all.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. Close to many modes of transport and just a short walk to the Eiffel tower.
It doesn't have a bar or restaurant but there are absolutely loads in the immediate neighborhood!

I visited this place in February. End the rooms are so small and tiny & the washrooms as well. The lift you can’t fit in with your luggage for your child. The breakfast is average. The coffee machine doesn’t work. It requires constant attention from the staff only plus point about this hotel is that it’s near Eiffel Tower. Apart from that a big no, you can definitely try the options.

Though the location is great, the room was relatively small. The bathroom toilets are small too. Paying 100 euro per night is not justified for the room and comfortable but for the location.

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. The hotel is in a really great and very central location. Metro and bus stops are just a few minutes away on foot, and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and, of course, fantastic boulangeries nearby.
We deliberately didn’t book breakfast – with so many great bakeries in the area, it would almost have been a shame to have breakfast at the hotel. It’s also a lovely way to experience a bit more of authentic Paris in the morning.
The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and always available whenever we had a question or needed anything.
If we had to mention anything that could be improved, it would only be small details: the shower head in our room didn’t stay properly in its holder, and there was no small washbasin in the separate toilet. In a family room, a small fridge would also have been very useful.
But these are really minor points and very much complaining at a high level. Overall, a great place to stay in an excellent location, and we would happily book it again.

Chouette Hotel was the perfect home base for our stay in Paris. The hotel is charming, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, allowing us to relax after long days exploring the city.
One of the highlights of our stay was the location. Situated in the 15th arrondissement and just a short walk from the Convention metro station, the hotel made it incredibly easy to reach all of Paris’s major attractions while still enjoying a more peaceful neighborhood filled with cafés, bakeries, and local shops. Guests consistently praise its convenient location and welcoming staff. It is 8 minutes walk to Metro Line 12 (Convention), and 15 minutes walk to Metro Line 13 (Plaisance)
The staff members were warm, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations and directions. Their hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also offers excellent value for money, combining comfort, cleanliness, and convenience in one of Paris’s most pleasant neighborhoods.
If you are looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with friendly service and easy access to public transportation, Chouette Hotel is an excellent choice. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed out. We felt very safe and comfortable. There was AC, an elevator, all amenities you could need including a cold water refill station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area was super cute full of bookstores, cafes, restaurants, a convenience store a block up that was open really late, market on Sundays in the street and a 5 min walk to the metro 12 convention station 🚉

Really nice stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had air conditioning. It was also very accessible and easy to get around the city.

Very good location, quite central and metro station just few minutes away by walk. There is local market at weekend just in front of the hotel, if you want to feel authentic Paris, here is really worth it. The staff is very friendly and nice. Always there when you need any help or have any question. The breakfast is great, small but very clean and varied food to choose.
Tips for Finding Budget-Friendly Stays Near the Eiffel Tower
Securing a great deal in Paris requires a bit of strategy and timing. The city hosts major events, fashion weeks, and trade shows that can cause prices to spike unexpectedly. By understanding how the Parisian hotel market works, you can lock in a rate that leaves room in your budget for the city’s incredible food and culture.
1. Travel in the Shoulder Season
The most effective way to save money is to visit during the shoulder months. April, May, September, and October offer pleasant weather with fewer crowds than the summer peak. During these months, hotel prices near the Eiffel Tower drop significantly compared to June and July.
2. Book a Room with a Kitchenette
Dining out in Paris for every meal can quickly exhaust your budget. Look for “aparthotels” or residences that offer a small kitchenette. Being able to prepare a simple breakfast or store cheese and wine from a local market will save you a substantial amount of money.
3. Stay on the 15th Arrondissement Side
The border between the 7th and 15th arrondissements is invisible to tourists but important for your wallet. Hotels located just south of the Champ de Mars in the 15th are often 20% to 30% cheaper than their counterparts directly across the street in the 7th, yet they offer the exact same walking distance to the Tower.
4. Look for “Free” Amenities
Before booking, check what is included in the price. Free Wi-Fi is standard, but free breakfast or complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby can add value. Some budget hotels offer free walking tours or have partnerships with local bakeries for discounted pastries.
5. Use the Metro to Your Advantage
If you cannot find a room within a 15-minute walk that fits your budget, expand your search along Metro Line 6 or Line 8. Stations like La Motte-Picquet or Commerce are just two or three stops away from the Trocadéro and Bir-Hakeim. The metro is cheap, safe, and runs frequently until late.
6. Check for “Double Glazing” and Elevators
Many budget hotels in Paris are located in historic Haussmann buildings. While charming, they can be noisy or lack elevators. When reading reviews, prioritize properties that mention double-glazed windows and the presence of a lift, especially if you are traveling with heavy luggage or are a light sleeper.
Paris is a city that rewards the savvy traveler. By choosing a budget-friendly hotel near the Eiffel Tower, you give yourself the freedom to explore the city at your own pace without the anxiety of a massive bill at checkout.
The magic of Paris isn’t found in the thread count of your sheets, but in the view of the Seine at sunset and the taste of a fresh baguette. With a little planning, you can have that dream view and a comfortable place to rest, all while keeping your budget firmly on the ground.
